I kept telling myself don't forget to give them a review because they deserve a minimum of 5 stars! Can I give them 10 stars? Big E masonry was easy to communicate with, from Lily in the office who is always on top of things, to the man himself Big Esteban and his entire crew who were all easy to work with. Esteban, gave me a very competitive bid, but he did something else, something more unusual in todays world: He delivered a great product on schedule and without drama. he was flexible as the job progressed to make small changes and gave great advice to help me navigate the process. I can't say enough good things about Big E masonry. If I didn't say it enough to Big E and his team: Thank you, thank you, thank you, we love our new outdoor spaces! Ted Lewis

We primarily communicated with Luis via text who was very responsive to our texts throughout the process. Estimates were provided in a timely manner and the pricing was affordable and competitive. We paid approximately $5,000 for our project. We were extremely happy with Big E Masonry and would highly recommend them to anyone looking at choosing the right contractor to do a great job in a professional manner

I hired Jaime years ago to fix a wall that was missing some cinder blocks, to increase privacy of…read moreour back yard which faces the street. After initial inspection, he came with a crew. They added few rows without paying attention to detail of adding sufficient concrete between them. My mom had to tell the workers to fill in the gaps. Then we had to tell them to fill in the gaps on our neighbor side because we share a wall. They did lazy work. Those areas were not filled at the joints. Needless to say, years later, today I am having issues with the wall. Because of the size block they used, my wall is now leaning and starting to buckle out. The new contractor I hired said this new block that was added is not up to code and it is the incorrect type/size. They should have never used it. Contractor also said many blocks are not set correctly because the joints were not properly adhered together with enough concrete between them. I was charged $1300 to add these 2-3 rows of blocks. And this was at least 7-8 years ago. I feel like I was ripped off. Now I have to tear the wall down and do it all over again because it has leaned to far it can't be repaired. It has to be replaced. Very upsetting especially because I wanted to hire a small local business. I want to support my community. It feels like they took advantage of our lack of knowledge behind wall building and codes. That's prob the worst part.
