The tooth I initially complained about (#18) had already been root‑canaled years ago and was part of a bridge with tooth #20. My dentist could not found an issue, so he referred me to an endodontist. That referral led me to Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee took a new X‑ray and then performed a CT scan to get a complete picture. After a thorough analysis, he detected a subtle but important change in tooth #20 -- the true source of my pain. He scheduled me for a root canal on June 29 and was meticulous in every step: preparing me carefully, ensuring I felt no pain, and performing the procedure with remarkable precision. He also guided me clearly on how to manage post‑surgery sensitivity. My daughter was even suffering from bone loss. Dr. Lee had to go in and try to fix the other endodontist's poor work and errors. Dr. Lee was patient and compassionate. He explained that what his work would entail, how complicated it was, and that it may not work. He said he would try to save the tooth, but he may not be able to, and it may need a surgical root canal through the side, or even extraction due to the damage, bone loss, and poor work of the other endodontist It took two visits over two weeks and amazingly, Dr. Lee was not only able to save the tooth but was able to correct the faulty root canal. We will go back in one year to check the progress of the tooth and see how the bone is regrowing around the tooth. He said none of the surgical interventions should be necessary. Throughout this entire process, Dr. Lee took the time to explain to me every step, then he would repeat, and explain it to my daughter. We were reassured and informed. We are so grateful to Dr. Lee that he is so adept at fixing root canals that have been performed poorly and not just failed, but failed miserably and caused such horrible pain and bone loss.
