It was my first one and he was patient answering all of my questions and explaining the cause, diagnosis, and procedure. It was on a back molar that had a crack due to an old cavity filling from when I was a kid. My tooth had 4 root canals in it which is more than most people, which required more work. However he finished the procedure in one appointment and it felt like he was very skilled. I felt no pain and he handled the whole operation expertly. Overall a Great experience! Due to the significant amount of infection, the treatment was originally expected to require two separate sessions. However, thanks to Dr. Nazeri's expertise and skill, he was able to complete the entire procedure in just one visit. Most importantly, I experienced absolutely no pain during the treatment and no discomfort afterward. In addition, the cost of the procedure was very reasonable. At my appointment in Orinda I was warmly received by Misha.The office was very CLEAN, Sanitary and Covid-19 guidelines being followed, ie: hand sanitizing, taking of temperatures and social distancing and scheduling staggered appointment times. I was seen by Dr. Nesari and his assistant Jennifer. Both had a awesome bedside manner and were able to make me feel comfortable and cared for. I myself have been in the dental field for 20+ years always the assistant or front office but never the patient. I was really nervous, But Dr. Nesari & Jennifer totally explained everything and put my mind at ease. My prosthodontist had no reservations recommending Dr. Jensen for a needed root canal in preparation for a couple of implants next to the said tooth. What a blessing Dr. Jensen is to the profession of dentistry, in particular to Endodontics. The whole experience was customer service extraordinaire. The receptionist was a delightful, engaging, comedic, expectant mom. They hadn't received the x-ray imaging from the lab and had to do them again in their office at no charge. Every step of the way was professional courtesy, with Dr. Jensen being the epitome of excellence. She explained in detail the root canal in question, what needed to be done and that her aide (who took all the imaging) was also training a promising young man in all aspects of the instruments used and the procedure steps to aide Dr. Jensen. Truly a respectful, caring learning experience. Dr. Jensen approach in providing pertinent information, her personal care, her mastery of her craft, from Novocain, drilling, cleaning and filling the tooth back to normalcy with exceptional skill, was soothing comfort. And, delightfully, during the procedure she would softly hum a soft tune for a few seconds...what comfort and smiles she provided. He didn't even try to make the scars hidden as I have seen many other surgeons focus on. He didn't provide clear instructions for follow-up care. I learned after that most surgeons give you specific guidelines to help improve the healing and outcome. I have a large lump where he placed stitches. Besides the cosmetic issues, I am in constant pain and can't lay on on side of my face. He talks a big talk and tells about his great expertise, but his results are horrible.

The "this is how we do it, take it or leave it" attitude was particularly disturbing to me. If I had a reasonable alternative with another provider I would have taken my business elsewhere. Having an implant is such a lengthy process that changing practices in the middle of a treatment plan was not reasonable. When dealing with the business aspect of Muir Oral, I feel more like an account and not a patient. It's very dehumanizing. My future oral surgery needs will be with a different practice. Sisodia performed 3-fillings on another family member, one filling came out twice, a second filling started having issues after few months. This office lacks depth in diagnosis, and treatment technique is very poor. Instead of admitting the mistake, office continued to be defensive and rude. In case you are looking for general cleaning, you may give this dentist a try, for anything more, please do not waste your time and money.
