Dr D. discussed treatment options with me and I felt fully versed in the choices available, pro's, con's and percentage of success and she even called me after checking on my insurance details to let me know the 90% coverage I assumed, may only be 80%. The camaraderie shared with her assistant (Shauna) was infectious and truly the atmosphere was more like lunch with the girls than a procedure that had me feeling quite emotional the day before. That's not to say it wasn't professional, because it was but it was a warm and caring experience. They had me at ease, checked on how I was doing often and completed the procedure in less than 2 hours. I went home expecting to need some pain relief but to be honest 5 hours later and I still have not needed even an Advil. I have another root canal to address in the future and will definitely return to Dr Dastmalchi and her team. I am so grateful for the referral and for the treatment I received.

Due to the significant amount of infection, the treatment was originally expected to require two separate sessions. However, thanks to Dr. Nazeri's expertise and skill, he was able to complete the entire procedure in just one visit. I had serious concerns…read morebecause I have CPTSD and last time the dentist aggressively scraped my teeth before the cleaning and it was really triggering/ scary for me as I have always have my teeth cleaned first and then the dentist comes in to poke around. I feel like the dentist was in hurry and wanted to get me out of the way quickly. The office manager has an attitude and is not sympathetic to my needs as a client. The previous dentist who owned this practice had the " let's figure out how to serve you best" attitude, the manager has a "don't like it find somewhere else" attitude. She didn't offer to discuss it with the dentist she claims it's normal for the dentist to do a cleaning with a handtool instead of a sonic cleaner. Sitting in the chair while she aggressively scraped my teeth was so awful!!!! I've never had that happen it's always a deep cleaning first then the dentist checks me out. I told the office manager I would leave a review, she tried to say I was raising my voice when I was just repeating my concerns WITHOUT her having any sympathy or solutions. Office managers should NEVER argue with clients they should find solutions!!!!!!!!! It's not OK to treat people like that especially trauma survivors!!!!!!

Remained painful and when I went back a week later he confused me with another patient that had been in 2 days previous, and told me just to tough it out. And their billing procedures are unethical. According to my insurance I had OVERPAID them to the tune of $130 which they acknowledged and told me I would receive a refund within a month. When I didn't, I inquired again and was told I had received a laser treatment of $130 (which I DIDN'T) that insurance did not cover, so would NOT be receiving my refund due. :-( Also - WHILE I was having my 2nd root canal the assistant was singing along to the canned music, and she and Dr Winig were gossiping office politics - apparently neither wanted to work with Dr, Jensen now that Talebi was gone!! VERY unprofessional. Wouldn't go back and advise you to seek alternative, more scrupulous practitioners.

I had my root canal yesterday, and it was actually painless. Dr. Jensen is very skilled at giving injections and assured me I would be numb before my procedure. I also used Nitrous for the first time, and it helped to calm my nerves as well. My tooth is no longer in pain, and I feel so lucky to have found an endodontist that I can return to.
