I had a very disappointing experience at the Concentra location in Irwindale on Arrow. I came in to complete multiple pre-employment requirements under a tight deadline. At check-in, I handed the front desk employee a 7-page order packet. He even commented on how thick it was and said he would keep it "to the side just in case we need it." I was told to wait and was eventually called back for my drug screen only. The medical assistant who helped me was kind and professional. However, when I returned to the front desk to complete the rest of my required labs (blood work, vaccinations, and TB test), the same employee stated that I "only had the drug screen form" and claimed only the first page had a barcode. That was incorrect -- each page had a barcode, and all seven pages were provided at check-in. By that point, the paperwork was no longer on his desk. After additional waiting, the manager came out and explained that blood draws are not done on weekends and that I would now need a new barcode for the remaining services -- even though the original packet included everything. Because the full order was not properly reviewed at check-in, only the drug screen was processed. I am now left trying to resolve this issue and meet my employment deadline due to an error that was not mine. The manager was apologetic and professional, which I appreciated. However, the front desk employee was dismissive throughout the interaction and never returned to acknowledge the issue or apologize. Front desk staff set the tone for a medical facility. I hope this location reviews its intake procedures to prevent this from happening to others. read more

I came here at 8 am on a Thursday, I experienced an injury at work and they sent me to this clinic. So far I have been waiting for almost 4 hours and for an urgent care place to only have one doctor is unacceptable. Avoid coming here at all costs. read more

Got injured, already in pain- was sent here so I could get checked right away so I drove here from work and got here 20 minutes before they close. And sure enough they sent me to another location coz they're Closing. Really.... can't wait to get home... can't do what they're supposed to do. I thought it said urgent care at the door. If I could give zero stars I would. What a joke of an establishment. I was the second person to walk in at 8 AM and have been here for OVER 4 hours. There is no communication of why I am waiting or any estimate of what my wait time will be. If I had known, I would have come back at another time or gone somewhere else. I also received attitude from the front desk. I was not told how long the wait was and there was a lack of courtesy from all staff members. Before even seeing my pre employment paperwork I was immediately questioned on why I did not have a specific mask ( I was not given or told about any type of mask). I was immediately told to come back and call them and to come at a different time. She told me they would not see me without this particular mask. After I pushed to have her look at my paperwork as I do not think that is needed for what I am looking to have done, she realized I did not have to have the mask for what was requested by the employer. It's probably not enough to say that I'd probably try to improve everything about this place. They only hire one practitioner for this place. I was outside waiting for the place to open and walked in with 4 people and one of the receptionist was already saying wait times would be as long as two hours. Three hours later and I am still waiting for a doctor to come in and finish my physical. There is no wonder staff is hanging out snacks and water. Rude staff, idk if they are just old and tired and don't have any customer service , however walked in - for work authorization fit test, 10 panel, physical etc. I was told by an original pear shaped woman to come back an hour because the doctor is at lunch, granted it was 12pm ok! Got back at 1:30 , a raggedy muffin shaped woman with the WORST attitude after not acknowledging us for 10 minutes while we stood at the counter - she then asked "how can i help ? " without even looking at us! I shower her our email from our company- she literally says "we aren't taking those! " - WHY? While this place is listed as an urgent care facility, it is unfortunately does not live up to its title as urgent. I came here midday on a Thursday around 1PM for a tuberculosis (TB) test, drug test, vision test, and physical examination for a new job. Because patients are seen on a walk-in basis, I sat there for over 1.5 hours before I was seen. At this point, I completed the vision and urine test, but had to wait another hour for the physical exam and TB test. Overall, if you have other options for healthcare services I would recommend going there instead, as the staff and service here lack efficiency and concern. read more

So I've been coming here since June. The physical therapy department and staff are always professional, educational, and patient. They do know their business in helping those who were injured, get back on their feet, and get back to work. I appreciate the way they circulate from one therapist to the next. You get a bit of knowledge from each of them. Julie has been great. She too has suffered a meniscus tear, in fact, more than once. I really liked how she motivates, shares her journey and seriously gave me hope that I too will be fully mobile. My impatience with my course in healing this injury has been extremely humbling. I've always bounced back, but this has taken a bit longer than I've wanted/expected. But I'm very optimistic that I'll be 100% in no time. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the temperature could be a little cooler in the building. read more

I'm shocked that this is even considered a medical establishment. Rude, unprofessional, and condescending. There is no other way to describe the staff. Wait, I can also add uneducated as well. Susie is by far the worst person I've ever come into contact with. Unprofessional to the max. When I asked her why the wait is 2-3 hours she told me because of "the patient load". I looked around and told her there are no patients in here but me. And she proceeded to tell me "it is what it is". I have no words really. This is quite possibly the worst doctors office of all time. The staff is super rude and unprofessional. They talk to you like a little kid who just got in trouble. The wait times are unbelievable. The staff member Sonia was jerking my broken finger around when she was wrapping it and being rude about me not being able to keep it straight. It was immensely painful. This place is horrible for drug screening!! I went the first time and had to go back because they cancelled my drug test because of a mismatched barcode. For my second drug screening, it said my urine was dilute but I didn't even drink that much water before! I've done two other drug tests before and I literally drank the same amount as the other tests. This is my 3rd drug screening I have to do but best believe I'm not coming back here ever again! read more

Hurt myself at work my job sent me here they have me doing physical therapy but yet won't say I'm hurt on paper.Not only that for me to file disability it's a problem they claim they can't go online to process your claim and they want the actual paper work in paper form this is 2022 who does this ? The staff is nice however I have had them keep me on hold quite long and they have hung up on me multiple times while I was on hold. I drove all the way from my work just to be told that they only accept urgent care until 3:30pm, i was there at 3:40pm, but their website says open until 5pm. So next day i came back earlier atound 1pm, they said waiting time is 4-5 hours, and not even sure if ill be attended. The receptionist has poor customer service ethics. Horrible. The customer service is horrible.They have a room full of people because someone is not doing their job right. The lobby is so full people are waiting outside. The capacity is at its max. I hope the fireMarshall fines them. Aside from waiting nearly 4 hours!!! I saw a couple horrific things happen just while waiting. The medical assistants refused service to someone because of their skin color. When a light skin person came in they said, "sit and wait but when a black man went in they told him, "we are understaffed and not taking anymore patients. Funny because she even went to get her supervisor to validate what she was saying is true. They don't care. We waited 4 hours and didn't even need to be seen. She made a mistake on the form. Gave us new one and done. We waiting 4 hours at her convenience.
