The location is easily accessible and there is easy parking off the street. Everyone really makes an effort to make you feel at home. The facilities are clean and they have about four or five private therapy room where they start you with head therapy and then you are moved to the open area with exercise equipment. Basically, there are three Therapists and about four Assistants that rotate on every session. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful, and they thrive to make you feel welcomed and to help you on your recovery road. During my 18 sessions, I worked with every member of the staff. I must say that I felt I got the most benefit from my work sessions with Therapist Mark Contreras. Mark is really great and patient and he really takes the time to explain why every stretch and exercise is done, which muscles it works and the benefit you will get from it. I first didn't know you could ask for a specific therapist, so most of my sessions were with assistants and I didn't feel they were so beneficial, but once I knew I could ask for a specific Therapist everything improved, and even if I only spent a few minutes working with Mark, he would provide specific instructions to the Assistant in turn and the sessions were excellent. I must say that the way DynamX works is very different than other Physical Therapy providers where I worked with the same therapist on every session, so I had a different expectation and it took me a while to adjust. DynamX review First impression on Friday, 4-28-23 went well but it quickly transformed a few encounters later on Monday, 5-1-23. Being a stickler for health care provider professionalism, I can only give a 3.5 out of 5 rating based on the following: 1. Clients' PT sessions are exposed to the waiting area at reception for all to see! (Limited privacy). Felt as if I was visiting a second rate gym rather than a physical therapist office 2. Awkward, very small tight space entrance, inadequate, insufficient seating space for wheelchair bound clients and others. 3. Staff ignorant about providing a tech support link for troubleshooting with the software to access prescribed exercises 4. "Irwin"; a physical therapist who answered the phone as if he was the Receptionist wasn't able send a simple pdf email he himself promised he would do and instead re-sent the problematic link which I told him not to do! 5. While on hold, callers are subjected to hearing "Kiss FM" radio with annoying commercials! Highly unprofessional of a health care provider in my humble opinion. They seem unaware or unconcerned of the impression they're projecting! 6. The exercises prescribed by Dr. Yusha Neuman in the pdf which the Patient Service Coordinator Zina Ortiz eventually emailed are vague with no reps, no sets, no resistance, no times per day, no times per week, no rest periods or whether both limbs needed to be worked out 7. The office seemed eager to have reviews posted even by first time visitors. 8. The straight leg lift exercise depicted in the pdf prescribed to me is one of the WORST, most detrimental movements that exacerbate the osteo hip arthritis!!! 9. Professional, reputable PT's such as "El Paso Manual Physical Therapy" on YouTube have better science backed, thorough and complete information and basic workout protocols than DynamX! While most of the staff I dealt with were friendly and courteous, the substandard professionalism I encountered on Monday afternoon caused me to cancel future appointments. read more

I cannot thank these people enough. The pain in my hands and shoulders was approaching unbearable. I was skeptical tlwhen my doctor recommended physical therapy. 2 very nice young ladies did my original assessment and I was given a set amount of visits. The guy that seems to be a manager, Cameron showed me several exercises and stretches for my hands and shoulders. There is a warm wax dip that they would do with my hands, followed by a brief wrap in a heated pad. This alone is worth the visit! They showed me stretches and exercises that I can do at home. And I do! Everyone there is kind, courteous and professional. They actually Help My hands are seeming stronger, despite my degenerative bone disease. My shoulders aren't in as constant pain. I can't recommend Physical therapy enough. Especially if you can get in to see these people. Do yourself a favor. You won't regret it. read more

This place is absolutely amazing! Where do I begin? They have professionals that actually heal you and understand where the pain is and recuperate and bring you back to life. This is the way physical therapy should be. Understanding professionals that listen to you and take the time to know your injury and heal you 100%. Zina at the front desk is incredible, patient and is very informative about insurance, and services. Mark, Irvine, and Paolo, and Itza, and the entire team here are all hands on deck and help you with everything you need to recuperate and have a wide range of motion after healing from your injury. The place is spotless and always smells sanitized, very clean and organized. They have up to date machines and exercises that help you develop healthy habits after you leave for a healthier lifestyle with exercise and stretches. (Forgive me if I didn't mention the rest of the names) But the ENTIRE TEAM is AMAZING. All on the same page and help each other out. There are ZERO Egos here and you can be honest with your PT with no judgments. These are professionals who care about what they do and about their patients. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone at any age for their Physical Therapy needs. read more

I've been going to CARTER therapy since 2015 from when I had surgery on my R. shoulder and I've been seeing them since then for back and cervical problems. My shoulder was the reason I came back to them - they did such an amazing job of working with me, and I have a lot of pain and problems. But there are some truly amazing people in there, and that have passed through there. I'll never go anywhere else as long as their doors remain open. I wish I could really say what I want to say but sometimes the words just don't come out right. I can only hope that I've done them a little justice considering what some of those people have done for me. you guys! read more

I had rotator cuff surgery on my left arm. It was a massive tear. Carter Physical helped me regain full use of my shoulder/arm. The therapists, aids, staff there are very friendly and helpful. I got to know the owner Larry Carter and will never forget what he and the other therapists there taught me to do to rehabilitate my shoulder. I had to have rotator cuff surgery on my right arm and returned 1 year later for the same treatment and it seems even easier now perhaps because I know the exercises and routines, but also because it was like coming back to friendly familiar faces who truly are helping people regain their health and lives. Larry has since passed on but his work is carried on by Jacob and Tammy who are certified Therapists with great knowledge, experience and empathy for their patients . After a year of going to Carter Therapy, I've seen many types of patients with injuries or disabilities, recovering from surgery, some in great pain, who are in a matter of weeks or months, totally new people, who are able to enjoy their lives with improved function, strength and mobility. The facility is actually very large with private rooms, has all the latest equipment, even a little hydromassage tub, electro-stim machines, ultrasound, and therapists and aids who will help you. If I need therapy for any other physical problems, I will go back to Carter Physical Therapy in a heartbeat! read more

My experience at Carter-DynamX PT was exceptional. I went for a shoulder injury which was corrected in a matter of a month as a result of their program that was designed for my injury. I began receiving physical therapy from Mr. Carter after my knee surgery in June. He and his staff are friendly, caring and very helpful. You can tell they really care about their patients. The office is always very accommodating to my schedule offering very early morning Saturday appointments. The office is also clean and has plenty of machines and gym equipment to work with. I've read some reviews about his use of students as his staff or interns. Mr. Carter tells you about them up front and the students are under his constant supervision. These are college students studying in the medical field or PT area. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all being treated by them. Jacob is the best pt ive ever had. He is an ultra marathoner so he knows how athletes think or at least how wanna bees like me think. He is intuitive in his diagnosis but he asks lots of questions about your activity you like to do and the best way to get you back out there naturally and holistically healed. Ive been here many times but never for the same injury. The staff is super friendly the appointments are always on time. I highly recommend this office. Currently they are fixing me up so i can complete my climb of kilimanjaro in oct 2018, but in the past they have gotten me ready for marathons in spain and helped me heal from a long camino de Santiago hike of over 500 miles. I am a 60 year old woman who could not move her neck. I had severe pain from C1-C7. I was able to avoid major neck surgery thanks to the wonderful staff at Carter PT. Larry Carter is a great physical therapist. He is understanding and very patient. You can tell he cares about each individual as he meets them in his office. I have been to 2 other physical therapy places ( a few years ago and not for this injury)before going to Lawrence W Carter Physical Therapy. the other two places were fantastic and were sport physical therapy places .However one closed down and the other was too far away. Lawrence Carter Physical Therapy was one of the few places covered by my new insurance.They are NOT a sports rehabs place. Their leg press machines did not have weights like the gym; there was nothing to strengthen your legs. The equipment is a joke for people who are into working out or play sports. the other machines for other injuries were very basic .Another thing is the "physical therapists" who are working on you are students who are studying to take the exam. Some were awesome; others would not listen to the patient. The only time a licensed Physical therapist work on me was my first visit to do the evaluation and last visit to do the final evaluation. The place closes early 3 days a week(t/th/f) so it is difficult to have after work sessions . They only told me they closed early on one day a week when I signed up. When I told my doctor some of the "exercises" I had to do and how much of it was a waste of time, he was upset. If you want an easy place for physical therapy, then this place is for you. But if you want a physical therapy place that will challenge you and will make your injury get better quicker, go somewhere else. read more

The people in there are great. Always very helpful and nice. My knee has gotten so much better from all the exercises we have done. I definitely recommend them. HOWEVER, the front office and billing is jacked! I constantly get hidden bills and fees. Tired of it. Beware of going in there and paying co-pays each visit, then getting a bill in the mail of a different amount saying you didint pay something. very annoying ! read more
