This is a long overdue review. I caught my sneaker in a loop of cord and fell, injuring both my shoulder and knee in 2023, when I was 70. Nader worked with me 2x a week, alternating between my shoulder and knee each visit. He did myofascial release on me during the first half of each session, which gave me increased range of motion with decreased pain in my shoulder, knee, and the surrounding tissues after each treatment. The remainder of the appointment consisted of doing various stretches and exercises for both my shoulder and knee that Nader assigned for me to do at home, too. Also during the months that Nader was working with me on my knee and shoulder, I happened to injure my rib while trying to lift the corner of my recliner. Bless Nader! He was able to manipulate that rib and get it back into position, giving me dramatic pain relief. Thanks to Nader, and the rest of his rehab team, my shoulder and knee are pain-free, with good strength and range of motion. Thank you again for returning my quality of life back to me. At the beginning of my illness, my insurance referred me to a physical therapy place where I didn't find the care that I needed, till I found Apage physical therapy, tried them, and they exceeded my expectations. The therapists and aids are very professional. Sometimes when you are in severe pain, you get drained both physically and emotionally. At Agape Physical Therapy, the team have been very supportive to me. They treat you as a human, not just as a number in their list. I appreciate their work ethics, integrity, and compassion. The person who is supposed to take your information, input info and make your appointments seems to be very confused, I think maybe English is not her first language. This is very frustrating when they continue to ask for insurance info and mess up your appointments. There is a sign stating if you miss your appointment they charge $50 I wish I had asked for 50 back since they missed mine, my time and health are just as important. I am dealing with a new hip replacement and had to seek help elsewhere last minute. I had hoped to find quality care but they failed me. I am currently paying out of pocket to Dr Sofia at raw performance in San Dimas, I'm thankful she could take me-she's worth it! read more

This review is for the front desk. The therapists do a wonderful job. I don't know where the miscommunication happened but I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment. I signed in and sat right in front of the front desk lady. My appointment was at 4:20 and at 4:50 I realized that I was completely forgotten. Specially after 3-4 people that arrived after me were taken in and I still was sitting in the front lobby. I left and didn't reschedule my appointment. I won't be coming back. Either you're "cured" after 12 visits or you're out. It's not a matter of health insurance. They simply cancel existing appointments if they find out you've gone beyond their "12 visit limitation." They won't return phone calls. It's truly baffling. read more

Simply the best PT around and I've been to several. I've been treated by Dr. Mary and Dr. Nader, both are amazing with so much knowledge and experience. Unlike other places where the physical therapist (PT) sees you the first time and then turns you over to the assistant and the assistant has four patients they are monitoring at the same time.... Agape PT works on you every visit and when it's exercise time the assistant is one on one assisting and making sure you're doing your exercises properly. Also there is a PT watching the exercise floor and will add corrections when needed. Amazing place, God bless them all. read more

I was referred here when I had a bad sprain by my orthopedist's office (Dr. Malinick). I can't remember the gentleman who was my actual therapist, but he was super nice, very professional, gentle but firm and very understanding. I don't love physical therapy, but if I have to go, I'd go here again. He was very good about educating me about my injury, what happened, how my body *should* work and what I needed to do to get it back that way. He did help a lot and the appointments were always on time. I appreciate their work a lot! read more

I cannot say enough about Agape after only two visits. I was looking for an FMT (functional manual therapy) certified PT in the Los Angeles area and found Mary after searching on the internet. Mary spent a TON of time on my first visit to take a full inventory of my body / deficiencies before deciding on the best course of action. My shoulder is already doing things it has never done before (mobility). I can't wait to get back in there to continue working on it! - I've been doing CrossFit consistently for the last year and my ongoing problems with overhead lifts forced me to look for a solution to the root cause of my woes. I've had knee pain for years and I finally got arthroscopic surgery for it. When the surgery didn't do much to alleviate my pain, I turned to Mary at Agape. She worked on my knee, all the while educating me, guiding me, and answering my endless questions. I can't have been an easy patient but Mary was patient and kind, positive and encouraging. After many weeks of physical therapy I have learned so much, my pain is much less, and my knee is getting stronger! I'm a retired nurse. I've had several different physical therapists throughout my life but have never felt as genuinely cared for as I have here. I'm rehabbing a total knee replacement and although it's been painful and frustrating at times I've always understood why I was being asked to do what was necessary. I was referred to Agape following a car accident. I has surgery on my neck but was left with very bad pain in my shoulder that made it almost impossible to lift my arm over my head. When my therapist ("Cha" who is fabulous) began to examine me I was blown away by his ability to locate the problem muscles. After about ten minutes he grasped my shoulder and said "ok lift your arm". I was able to raise my arm without pain for the first time in a year! He explained what my problems were and how the PT would proceed in the future. A caring and knowledgable staff makes Agape a must if you need PT. After my sessions end with Cha, I receive EMS, heat/ice therapy, and exercises supervised by Kurt. He is patient, caring and also fabulous. read more

I went to Agape Therapy last year after hurting my back and trying different treatments. I saw Nader who has tons of experience and truly hands that heal.
