This place tries to squeeze money out of you whenever they can. I had multiple service credits and when I missed an appointment they charged me again instead of just using my existing account balance. When I wanted to cancel, they make you come in person and sign paper when E-signing is so cheap and available just to make it harder to leave. ​And when I did show up to sign paperwork during their normal posted operatiing hours, they closed 30 minutes early! So I showed up for no reason. ​The masseuse team is great but the business administration really hurts the experience of this place. read more

2 stars because the massage was fine but the remainder of the experience was poor. Service: 1 /5 - Original masseuse canceled day of (understandable but a bit of a red flag), so I had to rebook - They refused to honor the promo price as advertised on social media, and after bringing this up to the receptionist with physical proof, there was no effort to correct this - just a shrug. This led to ~25% upcharge compared to what was advertised/expected. Massage: 3 /5 - Massage advertised for 60 minutes but only lasted 50 minutes - They should mention that additional treatments are an upcharge (I was aware of this but it was listed as 5$ each online and they charged me 10$ each. It says online that add-ons may increase service duration, but total service duration was actually shorter. - Masseuse was professional but curt and not interactive, did not set expectations or walk me through the process. - Massage itself was decent, I felt like the problem spots were targeted but I wished there was an element of total body massage as well. I love this place! I am a college athlete and I always have something to work on. I had terrible back pain and Cassandra fixed it! Later I had shoulder pain, she also did an amazing job with it. She even fixed my ear problems; I used to get frequent ear infections I thought because of swimming. The doctors prescribed me medication but nothing helped. Although this was my first time I felt like I already knew the staff! Ignacio my masseuse was super killer. He had great customer service been doing this for years he shared and truly believes in helping individuals get back to normal as close as possible. Walk me through a lot on techniques things I can do stretch etc. --very informative. The 60 minute massage, scraping, and cupping I received had me completely relaxed by the end of it. Found this place because they were offering a promo at my gym. I am prone to back injuries and was hurt just a month ago. Decided to give it a try since they are also licensed therapists. I went to Jose since he was the one I spoke to at the gym and got a free 5-7m massage and felt that he was very good and knowledgeable. He was able to help me relief a lot of my pain and knots and tightness. I asked for stretches to do to prevent future injuries and he was very helpful with that as well. The staff is friendly. They work wonders when it comes to sports recovery. From releasing tight knots and muscles to breaking down fascia and stretching. I used to get regular headaches from tension and tightness in my upper body. I strength train 7 days a week and work a fast paced career--sometimes 7 days a week as well. In either case, the buildup of tension and stress in the body would lead to some grueling headaches. These are now very rare. They've also helped manage tightness in my quads, hips, and lower back from an old hip injury. Their team knows exactly how to work on the body to provide amazing recovery and relief. Waste of money !! Took my daughter for a sports massage ,cupping and blading.She only received the sports massage the first day so I schedule an appointment for the following week for the cupping which I didn't know you pay for a sports massage in order to get your free cupping . I cancel my appointment and ask for For them to cancel my membership even though it's a three month agreement which I don't mind paying those three months as long as they terminated my membership . I also made myself an appointment the day after my daughters initial first visit for cupping and blading .which I only got maybe 4 cups and a Sports a Massage.I felt the same afterwards and declined to get the membership for myself. I felt better going to the joint chiropractor for $75 and getting four treatments a month than paying $75 for a useless appointment!!! So glad I went to Athletic Cryo in Glendora. The staff was hands on and so attentive in making sure I was comfortable and doing ok. I have to say as reluctant as I was to go into the cryosauna, the staff made me feel at ease and I actually tried it. I am so very glad I did because the results were incredible!!! I came to Athletic Cryo seeking help for relief from my chronic plantar fasciitis. I have been under the care of an orthopedic surgeon for about 8 months and the pain has only been getting worse. The last 2 visits the Dr has encouraged me to get a cortisone shot which I have refused.
