I have been coming here for about a month now due to numbness issues on my left arm, which gets aggravated when I transfer my son or go running or use the elliptical machine. After going to another Physical Therapy office through Pomona Valley Medical, I wasn't really happy with the treatments/sessions I was getting so decided to try this place out. It is close to my home and accepted my insurance. My PT is Dr. Leanne and she is great! Not only is she a super nice person, but she's an awesome PT. The treatments she provided and stretching exercises she gave me have really helped! I am happy to report that I haven't felt numbness in my arm for a while now and I didn't get numb the last time I used the elliptical machine or ran! Yay! Lilly, Gavin, and Leanne are all so great at this. I came in with a calf tear with a conservative prognosis of up to six months. They utilize sound practice to considerately coach you through recovery. My six months has only been two and I'm already working on the strength instead of waiting to heal. They followed a healing, mobility, strengthening format for me and leveraged an app to help me make sure I was doing my daily exercises. The entire team of pt aides (thank you Terrence, Ivan, and Chi) is also top notch and worked fluidly between multiple patients and pts simultaneously. They have a fun and engaging staff that feels like family while they teach and prep you for recovery. I had the best experience at Walnut Physical Therapy. I am a triathlete and I injured my back/sciatica while training. I found WPT through Yelp and I was really impressed by all of the 5-star reviews so I booked an appointment online. Initially, I was worried that I would have to make twice as many appointments to address both my hand injury and hip concerns. But ever since my first visit, Vincent has been a great PT and balances both of my concerns well. He and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate that they continue to follow COVID safety protocols during appointments at this time. Whenever I bring up a concern about pain or tenderness during appointments, Vincent is quick to come up with adjustments to my at-home exercises or in-person exercises based on the level of my discomfort. I love this place!! :) I Came here after a lower back injury from lifting a beefy dog stroller. Leanne Komoda is my PT. After my first consultation with her, I was finally able to identify the exact location of my injury which my chiropractor couldn't. I went from walking with a cane, being terrified of moving at all, to walking more and more, and am now able to move myself like a normal human being. 2 weeks into my therapy, I decided to try fixing my chronic neck pain here too. I'm learning a lot about my body and meeting all those neck muscles I never knew existed. Weekly migraine is much more manageable now after a month of therapy sessions. If you're considering trigger point injections or spine surgery, I highly recommend giving this place a try before making your decision. My journey began in May 2022 when I was suddenly diagnosed with retinal vein occlusion in my right eye. Alongside this condition, I experienced excruciating pain on the right side of my body, including my neck, shoulders, mid-back, and lower back. The pain became so severe that sitting for more than 5 minutes was unbearable, forcing me to constantly lie down for relief. I embarked on a series of appointments with various doctors and neurologists, undergoing numerous tests such as blood tests, x-rays, and MRIs. MRI shows a bulging disc at the L4-L5 level, which is affecting the nerve on the left side of my body but all my pain is on the right. Despite all these efforts, they merely prescribed heavy painkillers, steroids, and trigger point injections without addressing the root cause of my pain. I was treated at this place once, and was so disappointed about my visit. I read the reviews and read their websites and had a good feeling that they know what they are doing. I met with one of the therapist and I explained to her what my issues were. She asked me to pick only one concern for the visit. She suspected that I have plantar fasciitis. The reason I wanted to explain all the issues because it might be a weak glute or hip that cause feet pain. She focus on my feet instead of testing my hip range of motion or knees, etc. She looked overwhelmed when I explained to her my issues and I understand maybe I came here in the late afternoon and she might be tired. She measured my feet with a protractor kind of ruler and then later taught me some stretches that can found on the internet, such as calve stretch. Then, she iced my feet for 15 minutes and I went home. I felt that the diagnostics part were lacking and lazy. The price was not cheap either, and I expected good quality of care. A year later I found another therapist place, they assessed everything and listened to my concerns. They looked at other areas that might contribute to my feet pain, instead of providing ice and call it a day. read more

Due to the nature of my work and hobbies, I have constant issues with my neck and shoulders. I've seen years and money going to chiropractors to try and remedy these issues but only resulted in temporary relief. I decided to try something new by going to physical therapy. I found Walnut Physical Therapy and Performance on Google and decided to start there. When I made my appointment they were extremely friendly and resourceful and told me they had an opening the same day. I arrived an hour later and my designated therapist was Dr. Koh. She's a pleasant person to work with and addressed my main concerns along with helping me set goals to improve my condition. My experience could be summed up into two parts: massage therapy and physical exercise. The massage therapy relieves knotted and tense areas. The physical exercises focus on improving mobility, range of motion, and overall comfort. After a few visits, I could my discomfort on the pain scale of 1-10 went from a 7 to a 2. After having a snowboarding accident my neck never felt the same. This caused a lot of stiffness, discomfort and the MRI showed there was a slight bulge in my cervical. I tried going to the chiropractor for about a year and the results didn't change in the long term. I decided to give physical therapy a try and found Dr. Lilly through searching online. After meeting with her and explaining my situation and how my neck was feeling, she got to work. I had a severe ankle fracture with ORIF last June 2022. - In a wheelchair, I came into their facility on the first week of July. In providing care to me, they follow  patient- centered rehab protocol, hands-on treatment and individualized attention, which enables and encourages me  to be compliant and,  be diligent in performing home exercises. Experiencing this fracture, the idea of loss of normal mobility, was so painful, both in physical and mental aspects. Under the care of physical therapist Lilly Koh and her team of aides & volunteers - Liam, Miguel, Michelle, Eva, Katrina & Jenny, I am progressing well.  It has been almost 3 months post ORIF surgery, although I still have a lot to work on to gain back my pre- injury strenght and ability, I am so grateful that I have been walking without any assistive device for over three weeks now. Healing time will be different in everyone. Call or approach them and know how they can help you, too. On my visits there, I saw both kids and adults receiving therapy. My experience with Walnut Physical Therapy (WPT) has been stellar starting with the first communication via Yelp messaging. An X-ray at my doctor's office revealed a bone spur on my left knee. It was the cause of pain initially causing me inability to bear weight on it along with swelling and stiffness. A referral for PT was made with recommendations for therapists, but I preferred finding a closer facility to my home, so Yelped PT's. Lilly (Owner) quickly responded to my inquiry and I was able to make an appointment via Yelp message. WPT is spacious, parking is easy, and care is individualized. After completing paperwork I was introduced to Vincent who did a thorough assessment followed by treatment of light massage of the knee to loosen muscles. Two exercises were done that I can do at home, and I was given a printout to follow. It ended with a heat compress which felt wonderful. Vincent discussed the treatment plan in response to my question -- generally 6-8 weeks starting with 1-2 tx per week depending on my schedule, gradually weaning down to once a week, then every other week.... the goal being for me to be able to engage in activities I'd like without meds or a brace. Each appointment is an hour. This being the initial visit, the next one will be much more active. I have two friends who are PT's who are not available for treatment based on location and circumstances and I consulted with them about my visit with WPT -- both were impressed! Nicole is the assistant who greeted me upon entering and gave me paperwork to complete. Covid-19 precautions are taken. Both she and Vincent were nice and pleasant. Hard recommend this place :) Came in to treat my back after pinching a nerve from deadlifts, and got treated for ~6 week!
