I recently bought my very first Mac! Transitioning from Microsoft to Mac at almost 66, it was a big step! No regrets! I am an avid walker and in my numerous walks, I noticed a car with a subtle advertisement "computers made easy". I sent a email and here came Debbie! Debbie is an excellent computer and smartphone tutor. I saw her in action when she tutored my 70-year-old father recently. My dad had left his full-time job and was starting out as an independent consultant. He needed a new email account for his business. He also wanted to transition away from AOL for his personal email and get a GMail account. Debbie Leight is wonderful. She helped me move from AOL to Gmail with no hassles. She moved all my contacts and critical data to the new system and taught me what she was doing along the way. I was 24 hours away from needing to deliver a complete 2-hour radio show (my first) to a local station and absolutely could not transfer my mp3s according to the station's format requirements. She is very big on patience, kindness, honesty, resourceful on a lot of computer technology, where to obtain computer needs, she is extremely pleasant and professional. I want to clone Debbie's brain and enthusiasm. I was having issues transitioning from Windows XP to windows 7. I called Debbie and spent the most productive 1 1/2 hour with her. She helped with email issues and general setup of my computer. She showed me how to backup files using "Dropbox" and how to transfer photos from my Iphone to my computer. I am a web developer so I consider myself pretty tech savvy. But my ability to make most things work on a computer meant that I had actually backed myself into some awkward corners with my email, calendar etc. Debbie took my own email on my own domain and transitioned me into using it within Google Apps. I was getting frustrated and wasting a lot of time deleting the same emails from each of my different computers and iPhone. I called Debbie and she suggested that I upgrade my GoDaddy account and switch to allow IMAP access. After a quick phone call and a session, we set up my 2 Macs and my iPhone so that everything looked the same and synced.
