Working with Josh and Sean, or in my case, watching Josh and Sean work is a Master Class in technical knowledge, attention to detail, and customer support. The first time we met, and I showed them "the closet" that housed all the modems, routers, and switches that fed the various locations around the house, Sean looked at the embarrassingly messy nest of cables, thought for all of 30 seconds, he pulled one of the cables from one ports on a switch and put it in a different port. Yellow lights turned Green, and he explained why. The rest of the first visit was a lot like that. So, these are the guys you want supporting your home or business, regardless of the size, whether in-person or remotely with their Managed Services. This is a continuation and update of my last review. I just…read morehad a reputable company fix the issues that Smart Technology failed to fix. They found that the DVR that John sold me a little over a year ago, was very dated and the lowest of quality and was on its last legs. I had the new Company install a name brand DVR and it works fabulously. The Front Gate camera that I mentioned on the last review was grainy and skipped. The new company fixed the settings to make it hi def. Smart Tech obviously didn't have a clue on how to make it work properly. One of the cameras that John moved stopped working because of a faulty wire - duh!. So, this all cost me money, but at least I have a good system and a company that knows what they are doing. Recommendation: If you're going to use Smart Technology: 1. Make sure you do your research on the recommended products and use only name brand - not the crap that Smart Tech makes a huge markup on. 2. Get a copy of their written warranty before doing business with them. 3. Do not pay him until you are totally satisfied. 4. Don't listen to his pitch where he says he is not trying to sell you anything (then he goes ahead and sell you junk). My reviews are 100% factual.

He had availability the next day and came down to check out the problem. We tested the speed throughout the house (3floors) and while the speeds were decent we were not getting the 1gig internet we are paying for. He suggested we try his mesh system router and bam that was the issue. With the router we tested we got the full speeds. He suggested we move to a mesh system over a conventional router and that is what we will do. He didnt try to upsell his systems he instead gave great advice on which ones to purchase. He was here for an hour, tested and figured out the issue while giving us advice on how to configure our new systems and what new system to buy. I would recommend him for any wifi and computer related issues.
