He arrived on time and got to work. He was careful with the TV (given how delicate OLED screens are), and ultimately got it installed exactly where it needed to be. Shlomi offered to "private escort" our TVs, which included removing all four of them for the cost of what it would have run us for movers' insurance and boxes. He removed them all extremely quickly, drove them to our new house, and installed them on the walls before we even moved in, all for a super fair price. Shlomi is a really nice, chill guy, he's fully insured, and he's an electrician, so he does a lot of other services. We are definitely going to have him do some other things in our home. He listened, was completely willing to do it my way, and then expertly walked me through why a different approach would work better. A few things that stood out (again): - He installed the entire Frame while I was on a work call. When my call ended, he was already finished, the TV was up, and everything was clean. Zero damage, zero mess, zero disruption. - The same patience and lack of ego from the doorbell project carried over. He could have just done it his way from the start, but he respected that I had a plan and earned his way into changing it. - The result looks exactly like the Frame is supposed to look: flush, clean, like art on the wall. He's earned two installs of loyalty from me, and there will be a third, fourth, and fifth.

Ubiquiti had a solid reputation for quality and reliability, so I went about finding someone who handled their products. Yelp was a great resource and I narrowed down my choices to LA Wifi Guys, as their information gave me the most confidence. Made an appointment and David came out. Really liked his approach. Honest and transparent and not hustling me for upsells. He described my options clearly and it was easy to decide what I wanted. Not cheap, but very fair considering the higher quality solution and more experienced installation. It actually cost notably less than my original set up, which was done 6 years ago and had less features and most of all turned out crappy. David gave me an estimate for parts delivery, which turned out to be exact, and we made the install appointment for the day after. He came in and was very polite, careful and steadfast. He also was great at explaining how to operate my new system. But most of all, weeks after the install, I am sooo happy with it! Really great setup with excellent user interface and excellent camera resolution. I've already shared videos and stills with the neighborhood (as we are having coyote issues), and it was so quick and easy to do. A+++ experience all around! Thank you so much, David!

He also recommended cutting the locks since he couldn't make replacement keys, which means I will have to purchase some new bike locks again soon. As a young woman, i felt that having a functioning key remote made me feel safer . Mr Jin came by and said that the battery was dead which i thought was very weird since he just made a brand new key 2 weeks ago?? Did he use an old battery? Or was there another underlying issue? I questioned him about this but he just kept saying it needs a new battery . He wouldn't show me what was wrong with the key, just kept going to his van to look at it and INSISTED it was the battery. It Still didnt add up to me ... Anyways he opened the key, replaced the battery and charged me $40 for his time and gas to come out to me. I thought that was CRAZY since the key was malfunctioning due to his own fault and he just replaced the battery?!!? I just paid him and then went on my way. At that moment, i knew that he lost my business moving forward. 3 weeks later my remote stops working AGAIN! I go to another locksmith and they opened up my key, showed me my remote and said that when mr. jin opened the key remote. He broke a small piece, the small piece missing promotes the battery to drain fast and/or is not allowing the battery to power the remote. They replaced the battery for me in the meantime and then recommended i get a whole new remote if the problem continues . TLDR: So I PAID THIS MAN OVER $250 FOR A BRAND NEW KEY THAT LASTED ME TWO WEEKS. HE DID NOT EVEN TAKE THE TIME TO INVESTIGATE WHY AND OVERCHARGED ME FOR A HALF-ASS JOB. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. NOW I NEED A WHOLE NEW KEY PROGRAMMED BECAUSE HE BROKE MY KEY & DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HES DOING
