They examined it thoroughly and ultimately diagnosed the problem as a fault in the motherboard. The solution turned out to be putting my solid state drive into another laptop several generations newer....effectively salvaging all my data and apps on a newer machine...all this for a few hundred bucks. They were extremely communicative, provided a fast resolution and ensured my PC was working to the best of it's ability. I requested an appointment over email and Alan got back to me very quickly. He was able to get my laptop up and working again, remove my Windows password, and even performed a tune-up. Now my laptop is working great, and way faster than before. Alan also kept me informed throughout the entire process, and was happy to listen and answer questions at every stage.
