Services, per the sign posted in their window, include: driver's license, CDL, and ID services; vehicle related services; and knowledge/written testing. Driving tests are only available at full service Branches in Gaithersburg and White Oak. Kemp Mill shopping Center has plenty of parking and is off of Arcola Avenue in between University Blvd. and Georgia Ave. This branch is open by appointment only and we didn't need their services at this time, but the facility looked spacious and well laid out.

After checking in at the 'appointments' line near the front entrance which only ever had one or two people queued up when I checked, my ticket number was called within a matter of minutes. It was nice they had a greeter to help direct where we should go if we hadn't been there before. Vehicle titling customer service agents are to the left. The one who helped me was pretty nice. Drivers licenses are handled on the right side of the room. If you plan to use a rental agreement as proof of residency you need signatures from the renter in addition to your own so I found it was easier to use financial statements. The vision test wasn't too hard. There was a hard stop on my application where they had to contact the head MVA office to verify my identity so I had to wait for a manager to be available but that only took about half an hour. After she was available the application was submitted successfully and I was able to register to vote as well. I think I heard on the intercom that those who scheduled appointments beforehand should be serviced within 15 minutes of arrival so would highly recommend that route if possible.

To their new hire who had a "Training" display at her register, SHE IS AMAZING! She held down the fort, all on her own. Had a steady flow, very attentive, acknowledged everyone that came in, quickly, and efficiently was able to take care of each client, including myself. I came in to renew my registration. Just pull into a lane, someone will help you out, and after they check a couple things you're done in less than 2 minutes. When no one wants to re-register your car you want this to be uneventful and that's exactly what it was. Dude helping me was a bro too, will be back next time I need to.

He gets on the phone with the WORST potty mouth, even with children nearby, you can hear MF MF FKG SHT FKG everything. Even complained about the FKG KIDS back-and-forth because their mom was not allowed to stand across from the door and look at the computer screen with a stroller.
