Really disappointed. Scheduled an appointment. Now, I was notified by text requesting that I be there 15 minutes early so I was aware of that. I arrived only 10 minutes early because I was running late trying to leave work (sorry, life happens). I waited in line at check-in for about 5 minutes just to be told that they won't see me because I wasn't checked in15 minutes early. My first thought was, "their paperwork is going to take me that long even though I'm a previous patient ?!" Anyway, don't bother scheduling here if 1. you're not willing to wait 3+ months for an appointment and 2. can't be there 20+ minutes early once you finally do get an appointment just in case you have to wait in line to make the non-negotiable 15 minute deadline. Partially my fault, but felt like my time was wasted. read more

New to the state and in need of a doctor for some follow-up issues and tests, I contacted this office. Advised them I was in need of care and would like to treat with them. They explained that they'd need my medical records to evaluate me properly and task me with getting the records from my prior doctor and sending them to their office. I was disappointed with that task as they have suffice nut resources to request the records on my behalf. When it comes to medical care, I need a provider who is more comprehensive than having the patient do things a medical office should. Ironically when I contacted my prior Doctor, they asked me why I was making the request and not my new gyn. At least they get it. I do miss their office now. read more

I absolutely do not recommend this practice. I went in to see Dr. Luciani and from the moment I walked in the doors I felt unwelcome and rushed. After using the restroom, I walked into the waiting area. Sonya, the nurse, called my name and did not wait but 2 seconds for an answer and walked away. I had to go over to the receptionist to get her to come back out. After hastily taking my vitals, she told me to undress from the waist down and wait on the doctor. She did not tell me how to cover myself while I waited, and was out the door before I got a chance to ask. So I did as she said, I sat on the table extremely uncomfortable. When Dr. Luciani walked into the room with her, he reacted almost in horror that I was sitting on the table that way. Which made me feel awful. I was embarrassed, rushed, and treated very unprofessionally. I was rushed out of the office with no form of apology, and in tears. Very disappointed. read more

BEWARE!!!!!!! I wish I could give 0 stars. I have contemplated writing this for a week or so. So ridiculously UNPROFESSIONAL. Not only could I hear Reyes talk about other patients in a negative context while outside my door (you should really learn to keep your doors closed) calling them "f***ing crazy", but then also talk about I can only assume other staff members in a negative way. How unprofessional can you be?! Do I want to know what you've said about me? Can you imagine what he's said about you?! What about the other doctors?! If one does it, you know they ALL DO! I'll try not to be bias. I was not impressed with this office. I enjoyed the personality of my Obgyn and the front staff was professional, but. I never entered that office and waited less than an hour to see my dr. He was dismissive, and seemed to be disinterested in my visits. Waiting for as long as we would wait, just to have a 7-10 minute conversations was very Frustrating. We did have Medicaid while I was pregnant. I was a private nanny and student for years, insurance wasn't necessary for me prior to pregnancy. So, I do believe this played a role in our selection of offices. You should definitely put that into mind when considering this location, it's a brutal waiting game when your pregnant and sitting in an office for that long of a time. I paid out of pocket for a sonogram, which is very expensive. I was told before we paid I would be "reimbursed once we had the baby". It took me six months to get in touch with the front office and the accounted once I had the baby and we were told I was unable to be reimbursed. Shocker. I was always on Medicaid and switched carriers within Medicaid so I could keep my dr. At comprehensive. After having the baby I went back for my one week check up. I sat in the waiting room for nearly an hour and a half. I had a screaming 7 day old child, a full waiting room, and I was wildly uncomfortable from just giving birth. I left without having a check up and never heard from the front office to reschedule. Comprehensive obgyn is professional and accepts mediciad, although I would not recommend this location. It's far too busy to have a good quality experience with the person whom will deliver your baby. My OB didn't deliver our baby, the on call OB did. read more

I really really loved Comprehensive before I gave birth! The office is beautiful and clean! The doctors are all very competent as well as the front desk staff. I always thought the women explaining the insurance were very thorough and kind. I liked it so much that I referred 3 people to the office, two of which stayed and had their babies delivered there. The other one left because of long wait times and other billing issues. One of the patients that I referred also had a 2 hour wait on her first visit and had her two kids with her, but still decided to stay and is glad she did, bc she loves her doctor. I won't use specific names of doctors to be respectful and as professional as possible. I wouldn't say everything is horrible at this practice, i just had a string of bad events happen to me. Why i wouldn't recommend the practice now: My doctor was unable to make my birth, which is totally fine. I loved the doctor who delivered my baby. Since she couldn't make my birth, I was hoping to see her at my 6 week visit, but she had to attend a birth, so i didn't see my provider until my 6 month visit. I waited an hour with my baby before i saw my doctor. Luckily i didn't have my toddler with me. When my dr came in she literally spent less than 5 minutes with me- never asking how my birth went. I wish she would have showed a little more interest in me and in my baby since I spent 10 months with her preparing to have a baby and then not seeing her for 6 months. As a mom, I feel like my babies are my most prized possessions and I didn't get the vibe that my birth or baby mattered. It was frustrating. I also felt very very guilt tripped for not getting a flu shot. I told her I have gotten them in past years and they didn't work. She replied by telling me to "lube up my whole body with hand sanitizer." There was also a high school student shadowing her and I wasn't asked if it was okay for her to be in the room PRIOR to her coming in. It wasn't a big deal, but I felt slightly uncomfortable because we were talking about personal matters such as my birth control. They also switched over to a new system so everything seemed very unorganized unlike before. I had called their billing department and left a message before i went into the office because i wanted to pay my remaining balance. They never returned my call. So, when i went into the office for my appointment, they asked if i could pay my remaining balance. I told them yes, but that i had tried calling the billing office to see if i could settle for a 20% discount (for those who don't know, 20% is the standard discount received when you pay the remainder of a medical bill). I have paid MANY medical bills before, since this is not my first child. However, the front office lady said "that's considered insurance fraud if we don't collect what we bill". WHAT!? Out of the many many bills I've paid that has NEVER been the case. Every single bill I've ever paid has been negotiated down for at least a 20% discount. I feel deceived, but i paid my remaining bill anyway. One other small thing to note- my friend wanted to switch doctors after her 2 hour wait, but was told it's a conflict of interest to switch doctors. I feel like that is very odd that the office would rather lose a patient than just let them switch? Maybe that policy has changed, but this was in the summer of 2018. If you would have asked me 6 months ago if i recommend Comprehensive I would have said hands down YES! Now i am not so sure. read more

She was so up to date with current research and was able to really give insight to my concerns. She acknowledged my concerns and made me feel very comfortable expressing myself. I had an appointment here with doctor Ramirez and the people where really rude I couldn't completely talk to the doctor because I was in so much pain and when I asked her to talk to my son she replied with "he's not my patients" and did not run all the test the ER said they needed to run. All they did was a urine test and told me I was fine.. I had been to the ER 3 times before coming here and they told me I needed to see this doctor. But I would never recommend this place I would not even give them one star.. According to doctor Ramirez it was a small sist on my ovaries and told me it should go away in 6 weeks and to just try and relax.. no pain help and no medications was prescribed by the doctor. I was charged 300$ dollars just for a Uribe test and a Pat on the back.. I tried to get more help after 2 days of utter pain and called the doctor all she said was to go back to the ER.. this place was so unhelpful so rude and would not even recognize that I was in so much pain.. I went to another doctor and thank good he was able to help me 1000 times more than doctor Ramirez and the staff at this location. Again do not visit this place there are way better and qualified doctors in the Collin county area!! Never coming here again!!! read more

Dr. Chan is my OB, and she's the best OB I've ever had . Informative, patient, and caring! I was pregnant with my first child and had my very first surgery (c section) and Dr. Luciani delivered me, and it was an amazing experience with them. Dr. Chan is absolutely amazing. Sensitive but very intelligent, helpful, and mindful of her patient's wishes. She delivered my son at Baylor McKinney and has been nothing short of great. Her nurse is sweet and prompt when returning phone calls. Dr. Chan works here with her husband and her best friend and her husband. It makes the office feel very friendly and like a big family. Was very disappointed in this place. After leaving CR OB/GYN for feeling like it was a "cattle call" environment, made an appointment for Comprehensive and talked with the scheduler about my daughter needing to develop a relationship with a doctor for good female health. Selected Dr Sean Sadler. My daughter showed up for an appointment with all completed paperwork, which they were adamant about being filled out prior to appointment and she was 15 min early also as instructed. Waited over an hour to see the doctor, then Dr. Sadler spent 3 minutes with her. Then she waited another 15-20 minutes to check out only to find she didn't need to check out/pay. Incredibly disappointing. I discussed with the office manager and while she was very sympathetic, but not much else. This is not the kind of doctor I want to help my daughter manage her own best health. read more

So glad I found this place. After being given the run around at multiple OB offices this office actually CARED! I was seen quickly and Dr. Chan is amazing as well as the staff! The office is new and beautiful! Was seen super fast, sat maybe a total of 10 minutes in waiting room. Once we were back in the exam room it was maybe only another 10 minutes before the doctor arrived. She took her time and spoke to me about my concerns and really made the appointment about ME and my concerns. She was honest and helpful! The only issue I have is with cost. It's quite expensive but I guess you get what you pay for! read more

I'm currently 22 weeks and I see Dr. Maria Reyes at the Comprehensive OBGYN in McKinney. The clinic is great brand new with a nice modern touch to it. I appreciate the fact the staff calls me before the appointment to go over payment due and what I will be charged on and receive automated reminder calls. I love the fact that I can message the staff/nurse through the portal and they get back very quick or even if you call and a leave a voicemail with the nurse they get back within the same day. I live across the street from Baylor Hospital and the clinic is right by the hospital so for me convenience was HUGE since I don't have family here in Texas. When I was introduced to Dr. Maria Reyes she was very detailed and educated me on everything I should know. She also makes it very comforting while talking about random facts just to keep my mind distracted so I don't feel the pain. I'm glad that I chose the right clinic and the right doctor for my prenatal care. read more

I love Dr. Maria Reyes! I have followed her from her location in Dallas, and McKinney is NOT close to me by any means but she is worth it to me to drive. She is also in Dallas two days out of the week. When I found out I was pregnant there is no one else I would want to have deliver my baby. Especially with this being my first pregnancy, I know I'm in good hands. She takes time to answer all my questions, she's so sweet and makes me feel so comfortable. She always has been, and I've been going to her for over 9 years. I was happy to find that the staff at her new location was so nice and helpful. Everyone I have dealt with from the Sonographers, nurse, to the front desk, and of course Dr. Maria Reyes are the only people I would want to go to whether I'm pregnant or just getting my annual. I cannot say enough about Dr. Maria Reyes. I'm scared to give birth for the first time but knowing Dr. Reyes will be with me makes me feel so much more confident. Thank you!!! read more

Dr Reyes at Comprehensive OBGYN delievered my first baby, and I can not send enough good reviews his way. Overall the facility is wonderful, they used to be officed inside the hospital but are now situated in a nice office building just across the street. The facility is clean and nice, the staff is friendly. I loved his nurse, and had the same nurse everytime I came in. But Dr Reyes just made it the best. He is so nice and so pleasant, he doesn't seem like an arrogant doctor just a normal person. I would tell him about things I was planning on doing, like go to the lake and he would actually remember about it the next month and ask me how my trip to the lake was... who does that?! He is the best! Also he has delivered 2 of my sisters babies and a sis-in-law. I also loved that he told my sister he was unsure of why there was so much extra fluid and would like to consult another doctor, instead of just pretending to know everything and have something go wrong. As you can see I just loved my experience at Comprehensive OBGYN, I am so sad that he can't deliver my next baby since I have moved to far away :( I can't even think up one negative thing to say about this place or this doctor. read more

This place is not the place at ALL. First off the person that I was on the phone with trying to schedule an appointments with was very nonchalant in her tone and you can tell she was getting frustrated by my questions. She had no sense of what customer service means. She kept on saying "ummmmmmm" like she's in high school or something. Reguardless of all of great I still scheduled my appointment with them. They call back the day before my appointment (after scheduling my appointment 2 weeks post to the call) to tell me that I have to pay a deductible of $155 !!!! Like I have very good health insurance and that is totally unheard of! And once again her voice was so nonchalant &I then she asked me "ummmmmm do you want to schedule the appointment or not" , I hung up the phone on her and did not look back that this horrible unprofessional place! I found a better OBGyn clinic which IF they did charge a deductible they said no more than $55. Comprehensive Ob-Gyn is a rip off and unprofessional. SIMPLE. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Cesar Reyes since 2006. He has delivered both of our children, performed the Essure sterilization procedure for me in 2010, and most recently, my hysterectomy in 2015 (done via DaVinci robotic method--after which I was running 4 miles a day the minute he "released me" at 6 weeks post-op). A lot has changed since I first started seeing him--the location and size of his practice, his staff, etc. He has not changed and that says a lot. I can say with measured experience over the past ten years, that I would not want to be taken care of by anyone else for a myriad of reasons. He is very thorough, cares about his patients, and partners with you to create a treatment plan that fits your needs and expectations. He is knowledgeable about cutting edge technological advances in his field, and gives his patients many treatment options. I'm a relatively high maintenance patient with high expectations concerning the doctors I choose for the healthcare needs of my family. He has always met them, with humor and compassion. I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a better OB/GYN in the North Texas area. read more

When I started going to Comprehensive OB-GYN I had high hopes. However, it wasn't long until I was let down. The staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. The office seems dirty and the technology (I.e. ultrasound machines) is outdated. Dr. Luciani is very friendly and knowledgeable, HOWEVER, I had to wait over an hour to see him. Unacceptable. His nurse is also less than helpful. When calling for test results or questions, she seems put out and annoyed to help. Lastly, the billing department is a joke. After paying for prenatal care upfront, I decided to switch practices. I needed to get a refund for what I paid and was told this should take 4-6 weeks. It's now been over 8 weeks and I've heard nothing about my refund. I've left multiple messages with the billing department, but have yet to get a call back. This type of service is unacceptable and unnecessary. If you're looking for an OB-GYN, I would suggest somewhere else. read more

Dr. Reyes and Dr. Chan are great and always have been. Don't know about the other Doctor but Dr. Sadler is a sorry excuse for a Doctor. She did procedure's that I was never aware of until I got a bill in the mail. She never communicated with me (her patient) of needing or if I wanted something done, but did it and then said pay up!? WHAT? Also the billing team in the office don't communicate to each other or know what is going on someone's account. I've been calling back and forth for about 3 weeks and never would get a call back when I was told I would. Then the person I spoke to got all snappy with me, when I was upset about it. I went in for my annual Well Women exam on 8/9/12 which is covered by my insurance at 100%. Then I get a bill in the mail and they said it was because I had experienced some vaginal itching, so it turned into a office visit! What!?
