After delivering the baby, I lost feeling in my leg and despite constantly asking for help afterward, my concerns were ignored or not treated seriously. I was scared to hold my baby or even walk, but no one seemed to care. I later found out I damaged nerves in my leg while delivering. This experience was incredibly frustrating, especially since I've had other deliveries at different hospitals and expected a certain level of care. Additionally, part of the placenta was left inside my body for months. I kept complaining about unusual bleeding and pain but was dismissed similar to when I brought up the numbness in my leg. It wasn't until I demanded an ultrasound--after talking to other doctors online--that they finally took action and realized what was going on. Even then, I had to practically beg them to remove it before the Thanksgiving holiday. It felt like they were more concerned about their holiday plans than my health. I realize diagnosing health issues isnt easy and mistakes can be made. But I dont have tolerance for rude or disrespectful behavior. The straw that broke the camel's back happened the other day. After arriving for a recent appointment, I was asked to sit in the waiting area and would be checked in shortly. Another patient arrived after me and was immediately being checked in. I was confused so went to ask if I could also be checked but was quite rudely asked to wait. I've finally decided to find another doctor. I hope this review helps bring attention to the issues at this office so they can start treating all patients with the care and respect they deserve.

We have met several times to discuss next steps and she explains them to me beautifully. I walk away feeling heard and seen and that is huge to me when finding a fertility team. We started my IVF cycle and mid way realized something needed to change. Even if IVF isn't successful for me I finally have my life back after getting my endometriosis removed and my damaged tubes taken care of this past year. The McKinney office is super clean and the staff is friendly. Everyone greets you with a smile from the financial side to the front office employees that check you in. My husband and I feel very taken care of and that we have a team of people who will do the work to figure the root cause and create a solution that we feel comfortable with as a couple. Dr. Havemann gave me my life back and that is something that 10 doctors prior to her weren't able to do! As a women I usually would here from OBGYNs that "I needed to work out more" "lose more weight" or "this could be a form of anxiety" How am I supposed to work out more when I have debilitating menstrual cycles? I have my full medical record from my out of state provider and when asked what my options were she said that I needed to call my old out of state provider and go back there (ITS OUT OF STATE I CANNOT GO BACK THERE???) and was told that if I came in for my annual Pap - this was scheduled for a month out that I would be turned away for not just that appointment because I am pregnant but ANY APPOINTMENT. As a current patient and a previous OB patient, I just don't see how an office that should advocate for helping pregnant women turns away PREGNANT WOMEN. Especially their own patients.

I visited first in September to have my iud removed after waiting 50 minutes to be called back. Not even to see the doctor but simply called back for vitals. When he finally made it I said "I hope you were delivering a baby" and he said "I wish that was it". Ok! I was so flustered that I hardly asked any of my questions. I asked for him to call in some prenatals for me... he never did. Then I get a bill in the mail for $50 after I already paid a $70 copay. Turns out this was all an error and I was credited on my next visit. Still annoying. Fast forward to 3 months later where we are pregnant and I schedule my first appointment. Well a week later on New Year's Day I started bleeding with visible clots. It was the longest 24 hours ever to wait for the practice to open on 1/2 to see when I can come in. I called no less than 9 times starting at 9 am and no one was answering. I left a message and heard nothing until 1045 am. I had to call their Plano office (nicest lady ever who was so sweet and caring, btw) to get any sort of progress made. So I go in at 11, wait forever again but not quite 50 min, to see dr. Estafondiari who, was very lovely as I said. She was the only dr present so I understood that I had to wait. They do a sono and labs and send me on my way and tell me they'll call me the next day (a Thursday) with results and I'll come back Friday to check my levels again. Thursday rolls around and I'm patient until the afternoon when I call and leave a message asking for my beta results. I finally get a call back and it's pretty clear I've miscarried and the dr tells me not to bother coming in the following day for labs again. So it doesn't stop there. After my devastation the practice has the nerve to call me and see if I'm still coming for my labs. What?! I miscarried and we all know it. As if that wasn't enough I get an appointment reminder a week later about my upcoming sonogram appointment. WHY WERENT THESE APPOINTMENTS ALL CANCELLED!! I had a miscarriage. End of story. Please fix these problems because it's devastating to treat a woman who's suffered loss like this. I will not be back. What a shame for such nice doctors to have such a crappy staff.

She not only has provided me with education with every issue I faced, but also allowed me to make decisions based on a full understanding of all of my options. She's not just an OBGYN, she's a caring provider who wants to look at the patient as a whole. She treats you with respect. Rarely I find a DR that truly listens when a patient is telling them what is going on. Dr Walsh does. It means a lot to have a DR validate what you're experiencing and give you answers as to why you're experiencing it. This is who she is. If you're experiencing due to stress, she'll tell you, but if it's something that needs to be examined, you better bet she'll examine it. I can't say enough good things.

She connects with you and truly cares about you. I feel like she's part of my family now. I will always go to her and recommend her. You can always count on her giving you her best ! I wish more people were like her in this world . She had a lot of concerns through my pregnancy , It wasn't easy. To begin with... There was scares with my blood labs which ended up fine after doing an amniocentesis test. Shortly after , at 18 weeks Dr Walsh found that my cervix weakened due to a Leap Procedure I had done for cancer cells. Dr. Walsh did a Cerclage on me and unfortunately I was then put on strict bedrest. Going to our weekly sonograms, we went through many scares. One was so bad.. My cervix shortened so much that I was put into hospital for a week. When I was 35 weeks and 3 days pregnant, I find out that it is about to be the most important day of my life... Dr Walsh told me I needed an emergency c-section due to a calcifying placenta ... I asked her "Can we do it tomorrow, so I can register this? I'm not ready to be a mom today." She responded so perfectly." You have been a mom this whole time. She made it this far because of you!" - And here we are! Because of us..all of us.
