But, I think that it might be more about how they do injections because I've had excellent results with a doctor's office in DC (where the nurse made smaller injections and more distributed along my forehead as opposed to injecting more Botox in a few spots. I am formally requesting that management preserve and review the security footage from this timeframe to investigate her unacceptable discriminatory conduct. After my appointment,I went to pay. I had recently opened a CareCredit account and showed Linda my welcome letter as instructed, since I did not have the physical card yet. I asked her to charge exactly $300 to CareCredit to utilize a specific promotional amount. Linda immediately responded with intense sarcasm and condescension, loudly announcing my private credit limit at the front desk and questioning why I was "only" using $300. This public financial exposure was humiliating, judgmental, and entirely unnecessary. Her hostility escalated after the transaction. When I left a tip, she remarked, "Oh, you left a tip?" When I asked why she would assume otherwise, she doubled down, stating, "Oh, most people don't." Later, when I asked about business hours, she aggressively questioned why I wanted to know the closing time or why I would ever return. Given her unprovoked nastiness, I felt singled out, harshly judged, racially profiled, and discriminated against. Before posting publicly, I tried to resolve this privately. I contacted Pure Med Spa directly, and staff promised management would follow up. They never did. I called approximately four more times, but my requests were completely ignored. I never received an apology or a resolution. I demand that management immediately review the September 17 footage , investigate Linda's discriminatory behavior, and explain why my repeated attempts to reach management were neglected. I also filed a formal complaint to BBB on this incident in hopes for accountability from Pure Med Spa & that this never happen again to any customer. No one deserves to be discriminated against!!

The only reason I removed a star is because I had to wait a while for both of my appointments with them which isn't uncommon at medical providers but is still a frustration for patients/customers who might be operating on a tight timeline. The location is very convenient for anyone living in the neighborhood. The office was very clean. IMPORTANT: this is a note I'm sharing on every review I leave for medical providers regardless of my experience with them, as a PSA for others - it is NOT a reflection on the provider: ALWAYS confirm how a medical provider will 'code' a visit/procedure/service and understand how that relates to your insurance coverage BEFORE you schedule the visit/procedure/service. For example: will a preventative screening with a dermatologist be 'coded' in a way that'll compromise my insurance from covering a future preventative annual wellness check with my primary in the same calendar year? This is an extra step that can consume time but it is worth it.
