Cadillac Tire Center ROCKS!!!!…read more Last week I took my car to Cadillac Automotive to get an oil change. When they do an oil change they do an inspection. They told me that my lower ball joint needed replacing which caused two of my tires to be worn...one so bad that the threads are almost coming thru, plus it needed an alignment. All this would come to $325.00 So I bought the part from O'Reilly's Auto Parts in Cadillac for $23 and had a good friend of ours that is laid off from his job but works on cars on the side and he put the car up on the hoist and could not find a bad ball joint anywhere, that it needed an alignment for sure but none of the tires were bad..a little worn...but did not need to be replaced as of yet. I called Cadillac Tire Center this morning and told I needed an alignment. They took my car back and and low and behold...No lower ball joint issue...and no tire issue! The alignment cost $39.95! You know that I will be going back there!!!

Had a van full of kids and my wife sitting on the side of the road on a holiday. Originally called a different service in town and they were not polite so we called Northern Towing. The fastest tow I have ever had. Called and 16 mins later he was there with a flatbed and ready to help us out. Then later the next day needed them again for helping to get into our van. Showed up in 6 mins! Best towing service we have EVER had! Friendly, courteous, and extremely kind and helpful!

The negatives- they lowballed the offer on trade in and were very rude in negotiation. Further when it was discovered that the pickup's navigation wasn't working they refused to alter the price, or fix it, but rather just clung to 'we didn't say it worked in the listing' (it was a $150 fix, and you show pictures of the navigation/SD slot). Said that service would remove the nail that was discovered in the tire-didn't. No tour of the truck or it's features. All in all I'm happy with the truck, however, the experience and the customer service stood out for being so negative and adversarial. Having bought used cars 4-5 times Over the last decade I can say this was the worst customer service of them all.

I needed a vehicle immediately, and even though it was late in the day and the dealership had been without power until nearly 2 PM, they sent someone to pick me up in Houghton Lake and worked with me to find a car that would work for my needs in a record amount of time. I was greeted by name when I walked in the door. My sales representative Ian Foster never skipped a beat, making sure I had what I needed while at the same time multitasking for other customers.

Even though all of the sales personal were great, they would tell us that they would get back with us on our questions, they never did. That is until we went to Fox Ford in Cadillac and worked with Howard Canfield. Not only did he answer our questions he would get the answers for us if he couldn't directly answer there. During the entire process, not once did I feel pressured to buy right away. He gave us the space to talk and discuss the purchase, and even encouraged us to go home, talk it over, and then when we were ready, to come back in--if we wanted. Once we decided to go with our 2024 Ford F-150, he talked to us about the truck how all the bells and whistles worked. Then when it came time for the unenviable "up sale," he didn't push it. He explained what they were and the benefits of having them added on. He never pushed it and even told us that if we didn't want them, that it would be no problem. Once we did purchase it, Howard explained how everything worked, and then told me that once I get my boat off of the trailer, to bring the trailer back in and he would take some time and help me get all the stickers in the correct place so that I could use the system to help back up trailers! I can tell you this, the next time that we are looking at buying a new car our first and only stop will be at Fox Ford in Cadillac, and we will be working directly with Howard Canfield.

Godfrey was one of approximately 20 dealerships I contacted regarding their inventory, but was by far the most communicative and polite. In addition, they also had the best pricing available in the country by a considerable margin. On that point alone, and based upon my experiences up to that point with some other dealerships, I would have been willing to put up with substandard customer service. However, I was pleasantly surprised to receive quite the opposite. I'd like to specifically recognize and thank Jared Hurlburt for his exemplary service throughout the process. Despite my being one timezone and 800 miles away, my experience with Godfrey may as well have been that of a them being right down the road from my house. Jared was prompt and patient in answering each and every one of my NUMEROUS emails and voicemails, and walked me through the process, including arranging for delivery of my new car to Kansas City. I've owned over a dozen cars, and none have had a purchasing process so painless.
