She took the time to really understand what was going on, explained everything to my capacity, and helped me come into alignment. Dr. Clemens offers genuine and compassionate care. I found Natural Health Chiropractic from a Groupon deal for an hour massage and pain consultation…read more Since I'm a runner and active triathlete that constantly fights pain to perform, I figured I'd give them a try. After 2 appointments and some custom orthotics, I can happily recommend Dr. Clemens to the Yelp community! She has a total person approach to her practice, taking the time to even do X-rays when necessary. Being a tech guy I love the high tech approach (foot scans? yes, please!) to care. I am always happy when I go to the doctor and they actually honor my appointment. Yes, I know you are a doctor and you're super-duper important, but so is my time. Dr. Clemens says 10:00, she will be ready for you at 10:00. All 3 times I went to the office I got right in. This is a huge deal to me. Being a part-time athlete and full time Dad and working stiff, my time is limited. Punctual appointments are always appreciated. I think the single best thing about Dr. Clemens is that she took a full appointment (30 minutes) just to watch my movements and take measurements for what my orthotics might need. I don't want to go into all the gory details of my skeletal issues, but suffice to say in 30 minutes with the Doctor I knew more about the curvature of my spine, my hip alignment, and my running gait than I picked up over the previous year. There's really nothing like having a Chiropractor and former athlete do a skeletal analysis... it's pretty eye opening. I initially went in just wanting to improve performance, in the process I found some things that I need to fix. With the help of some X-ray analysis I'm adjusting my training and treatments accordingly. Overall, Dr. Clemens is outstanding. I wish she were in my insurance provider network for long term care, but I can't afford to go outside network. I would definitely see her for orthotics again since they're not covered by my insurance anyway. If you need a great Chiropractor, I'm please to recommend Natural Health Chiropractic.

When I first began working under Dr. Allison Rodgers' exceptional care at Fertility Centers of…read moreIllinois in May 2019, she suggested that I compliment my treatment by seeing an acupuncturist in Wheaton. She said, "I don't know what he does but it works. What do you have to lose?" That acupuncturist was Peter Harvey at Eastern Healing. Fast forward to September 2020, after multiple canceled FETs due to poor response and thin lining issues, Peter suggested to Dr. Rodgers that we try a natural, unmedicated cycle with herbs. Dr. Rodgers agreed. What did we have to lose? It was worth a shot. During my three year IVF journey, I prepped for several FETs (8 of which were canceled due poor results) and the one that actually worked was because of Peter's dedicated collaboration with Dr. Rodgers. The natural cycle coupled with herbs resulted in the thickest and best looking my uterine lining ever got over the three years. Because of this, I was able to proceed with my FET. Many thanks to Peter for being my advocate, for trying different approaches, never giving up and helping my husband and me realize our dreams of becoming parents. Our sweet boy was born earlier this year. We are eternally grateful.

NOTE: Please note that dates for positive reviews are from years past!…read more Just stay away. I would give zero stars if I could. If Peter ever was compassionate, that was before his current burnout. I contacted Peter to begin acupuncture during my third IVF cycle (for male factor). I ignored a few red flags during my early appointments and tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. I understood he wanted me to give him four months to work with me before my next cycle. However, after consulting two of the top REs in both Chicago and NY (Dr. Catenacci at AFCC Chicago and Dr. Irani at Cornell NY) I made the decision that I would move forward with a cycle in November. While I understood he would be disappointed, I expected him to be professional. I took the time to explain to Peter that in addition to the expert medical opinions I received encouraging me to move forward in November, there were a number of other factors (both personal and financial) that made this timing right for me. Instead, Peter became extremely enraged and aggressive. He informed me that if I moved forward with an IVF cycle in November, I would be unlikely to become pregnant. And accordingly to Peter, if I did, it would not result in a live birth. Then, he went on to share with me the story of a 43 y/o IVF patient of his he saw that day. He shared that he encouraged her to take time off before her next cycle, but she did not (as if 43 y/os have a ton of time..). She then became pregnant with twins. He said he then did not see her for 6 weeks. She then lost the twins at 10 weeks. He blamed her loss on her not keeping up with acupuncture. My reason for seeking acupuncture is in large part stress reduction. I don't need an acupuncturist scaring me to death. While I expect an opinion and advice, he was not professional or compassionate. I will be looking elsewhere.

Nearly a year later, the office attempted to charge my debit card without warning or authorization from me. The billing practices and lack of transparency felt extremely misleading. I am currently attempting to resolve this directly and would be happy to update this review if the matter is handled appropriately and transparently. update: Dr Whitney has reached out to make things right, which I very much appreciate. He is a great doctor and don't believe he takes care of any of the billing. I would stand by the fact that you definitely should double and triple check with your insurance before doing any x-rays or treatments though, as he is ultimately not the one that habdles billing for those.
