Truly the best chiropractors my husband and I have ever seen. They are exceptionally caring and knowledgeable, take the time to thoroughly listen to concerns, and are highly detail-oriented in their treatment approach. We consistently leave their office feeling significantly better and genuinely well cared for. They are truly a blessing to all of their patients. read more

I highly recommend Wheaton Family Chiropractic. Dr Mark has been taking care of me for a number of years. Can't thank him enough.

I feel the benefit with every session. I always feel much better leaving than how I felt coming in. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating, the facility is always clean, and the environment is always positive. I've seen a remarkable improvement in my health since my very first session, and I don't see my last session coming any time soon. While my original aches and pains are gone, I love the ongoing benefit of coming every couple weeks for "maintenance ". Thanks to Dr Mark and the team for being nothing short of wonderful. read more

Wheaton Family Chiropractic - March 2021 - Chiropractors Near Me - Wheaton, Illinois

After struggling with SI joint and shoulder/neck pain for years, with only minimal relief from physical therapy, I decided to try chiropractic care. I am so glad I found Dr. Mark, as I am now pain-free! Additionally, some of my other long term health issues, like sinus infections and migraine headaches, have also resolved. Dr. Mark is very kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable, and his office staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Wheaton Family Chiropractic! read more

Nothing to think about here! I've been a patient of Dr. Mark for over 10 years. I actually moved farther out and wouldn't even consider going to my anyone else. Originally, I decide to go to a chiropractor because I had a constant lower back ache from years of working jobs that were on my feet/walking, plus LIFE. I had my spine scanned for an X-ray and learned I lost what they call "The curve of life" My spine was straight at my neck. This is actually very common as we grow older. I followed through the suggested adjustments and the rest is history. Once my spine was aligned I now do maintenance program (Twice a month) that keeps my spine in check. I also learned that each section of your spine needs to stayed aligned as it is a function for all the nerve endings that maintain all the organs in your body. It made total sense to me especially since I'm 63 years old and don't have any aches, or pains now. Also, since I started with Dr. Mark I very rarely get sick either. I look at it this way. Everyone goes to get an oil change on their car for maintenance why not have maintenance on your body. This is also a "Maximized Living" office. You need to go and find out more about it. Give it a try. Super great staff as well. read more

Dr. Myers discounts the education of Harvard medical school and holds onto the disproven theory of subluxations being the root of cause of a myriad of health issues including those hormone and immune related. He's antivaccine and anti-GMO despite what science indicates. It's too bad that this chiropractor seeks to expand his treatment focus beyond the muscoskeletal conditions in which chiropracty does have benefit. He lured me in with a $25 for initial exam but then charged $200 for xrays and $115 for the first treatment and then wanted $3000 for 40 treatments with payment up front. All this while knowingly not disclosing that he is considered as out-of-network by my insurance and does not bill insurance directly. http://www.centerforinquiry.net/forums/viewthread/16572/#205989 http://www.chirobase.org/01General/risk.html https://www.sciencebasedmedicine.org/subluxation-theory-a-belief-system-that-continues-to-define-the-practice-of-chiropractic/ http://www.cdc.gov/vaccinesafety/Concerns/Index.html NAS on GMOs (http://www.nap.edu/openbook.php?record_id=10977&page=8): "To date, no adverse health effects attributed to genetic engineering have been documented in the human population." read more

For 16 years, I had been suffering from migraines. They began to get much worse, with debilitating symptoms. I didn't believe in Chiropractic care as I worked with physicians on a regular basis and had witnessed some terrible Chiropractic practices. However, I was desperately looking for some relief. I met Diane (staff member) at the DuPage County Fair and after doing some extensive research on Dr. Myers and his practices, I decided to give it a try. At the first visit, he was so concerned about my condition that he stated he couldn't let me leave without relieving the pressure in my neck. I allowed him to adjust me and agreed to go through the corrective care, but if there was no relief or change in my X-ray, that I would be stopping care. In 3 months, my X-rays showed dramatic improvement and I was feeling better. After 3 years of corrections, my migraines are completely gone. I don't live in fear of the debilitating migraines and can live my life more freely. For that, I cannot thank Dr. Mark enough. I would tell people considering getting care from Dr. Mark that the science of chiropractic care is a long term solution, not just a few cracks of your spine and you are all better. Your body needs to heal and be corrected regularly to correct injuries that many times have been issues for years. They aren't corrected instantaneously, you need to be patient. But what I love about this practice is that they focus on correcting spinal issues AND have exercises for you to do to help the adjustment 'stick' and your spine remain in the correct position. I found Dr. Mark's office to be completely fair with pricing and payments. I never had any of the issues other reviewers mentioned. And, if you do have something come up that doesn't seem right, talk to them. Dr. Mark is very fair and honest. He wants to make it a good experience for everyone. Medical care is expensive, but it's the best investment you can make - without your health, you have nothing. Seeing Dr. Mark was the best decision I've made. He promised he could correct my problem and has delivered on that promise. I recently moved away from the Chicago area and his adjustments are missed more than anything. Dr. Mark is constantly learning new and cutting edge practices to ensure your corrections are the best he can deliver. He is kind, honest and truly cares about your health and well-being. You won't find a better chiropractor and, trust me, I looked all over Chicago, but my hour commute to see him was always worth it. read more

My wife has received the best possible care for her Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and scoliosis here. Yes, the chiropractor may seem like an unlikely place for Post Concussion Syndrome to be healed, but when the nervous system is working well the brain and body heals itself like it was made to. When we came to see Dr Myers my wife was unable to do small tasks such as tie her shoes and ended up being in bed for a painful majority of the day. She had trouble breathing, any auditory stimuli and any fast moving visual stimuli used to give her instant splitting headaches. This had been going on for almost 2 years. Thanks to Dr Myers and his wonderful staff we found out that the cranium gets thrown out of alignment during injury to the head and sure enough, Dr Myers had been recently certified to do cranial adjustments. The proof that it worked was there immediately. When we got home the garage door opened loudly and did not cause her any pain. She was able to tie her shoes on her own before her next appointment. 3 months later she made it to the top of a very hard to climb indoor rock wall on her 2nd day of trying. 1.5 years of going to all sorts of MDs and all she did was get offered off label prescriptions and get worse. 3 months of instensive chiropractic care and she was at the top of the climbing wall smiling while being able to enjoy music in her headphones. His staff was the most understanding with our erratic schedule changes and made us feel like family. She has been to 4 chiropractors in her lifetime, and Dr Myers is without a doubt the best. I personally have been to 3 and I definitely agree. He uses a low radiation X-Ray machine to give you your results and updates regularly. If you know about Dr Myers, you are blessed! Sidenote: my father has been able to dodge the back surgery bullet twice after going to Dr Myers on two separate occasions in a 10 year span. My scoliosis was cured in 6 months. Dr Myers is not trying to make a lifetime client out of you. He works diligently to get you to the point where you do not need his services anymore. He will expertly adjust anything from your toes to your nose. If you have an ache or pain be open with him and let him know and you will experience amazing relief thanks to his expertise. He was also the team chiropractor for the US Judo, Wrestling, and Gymnastic teams. Those 3 are some of the most beat up athletes of all. read more

Due to repeated administrative mix ups, our family left this practice a year ago, and chose a new chiropractor. We still have a high opinion of Dr. Meyers, but feel the pre-pay system doesn't work for us. The friendly staff probably either needs a new insurance billing method, or better training on the one they have. read more

I started seeing Dr. Myers in 2008 and do not regret it one bit. His knowledge and passion for the practice is one like I have not seen before. He truly cares about his patients. It shows in his compassion and how he treats each person. I moved out of state for 2 years and was so upset I could not find someone nearly half as good as Dr. Myers. When I moved back to Illinois I was so excited to join part of the family again. I highly recommend Dr Myer for individual and/or family chiropractic care. read more

Minimal to no results. Expensive. I believe Dr. Mark is well trained but doesn't apply his knowledge in a way that actually helps. I questioned his application techniques many times but he never changed, thus no results. After 6 months of treatment and many thousands of dollars in cost I had no relief from 2 places of severe pain. Worst medical decision I have ever made. Also, the office environment is not like any I've ever seen, you take a number and wait, you see the Dr. for a few minutes of treatment in an open cubicle. I also found Dr. Mark very difficult to communicate with about treatment or in general. read more

I have scoliosis with a severe "S" curve and pain daily for as long as I can remember. I have visited other chiro's in the past who gave me very generalized treatment with minimal to no relief of pain. A friend of mine mentioned that Dr. Myers has extensive training & experience with scoliosis patients so I decided to try him out. The initial intake was very detailed which made him able to create an individualized plan just for me. I continued to see Dr. Myers the entire time I lived in the area (1.5 years) and couldn't believe the difference it made in my life. My pain decreased to minimal and I didn't have pain every day anymore! My quality of life improved GREATLY! Not only was the treatment effective, he worked with my budget to ensure that I received the treatment I needed. I recommend his care to anyone who is thinking about seeing a chiropractor, it's worth it! read more

Dr. Myers really helped me when I "threw out my back" and I was in extreme pain. I think his billing practices are unethical, however, and thus have stopped seeing him. I went for several visits and each time I was told I had to pay $50 for the adjustment, which I paid in full at each visit. At what turned out to be my last visit, I asked to pay my balance (because I knew I had received X-Rays during my first visit which I had never paid for). I paid a a total of $315 at that visit. After I stopped scheduling appointments, however, I received my first written invoice, claiming I owed $112 for each visit, including a $27 fee for "group therapy" which consisted (I'm assuming--I was never told) of the warm up exercises I would do for a few minutes on my own while waiting for my number to be called for my adjustment. When I asked the billing coordinator why the additional fees were not disclosed at the time of each visit, she said she really didn't have an answer for me. All in, I was billed a total of over $800--more than double what I thought I would be paying. I also was put off by the "mandatory" group session I was required to attend before he would go over my diagnosis or treatment plan, which he also required that my spouse attend. This consisted of probably 40 minutes of a lecture format with other people where he explained the science behind, and benefits of, chiropractic care and about 5 minutes of actually going over my X-Rays with me and telling me what was wrong with my spine. I've never had a physician require that my husband attend a visit with me, and this was not only inconvenient (middle of day--husband had to take time off work and we had to hire babysitter) but seemed like an invasion of my privacy. This was all a preface to his staff then explaining that care would require 48 consecutive office visits costing several thousands of dollars (not covered by insurance for me). I've never been able to reconcile the fees I was told I would be charged for in this visit (the only ones where I was given anything in writing) with the fees that ultimately showed up on my invoice. It's too bad he practices this way. I have no doubt he helped me. I would have liked to continue to see him, but I don't trust his billing practices and, therefore, would not trust him to continue to treat me. read more

Dr Myers is the only Doctor that was able to help me. I wasted my time at DuPage Medical Group over the years. I had a rotator cup problem and after a few weeks going 3 times a week and getting adjusted, my problem went away. I have been on cholesterol medicine for about 10 years and found out how bad they are for you. I stopped taking my 80mgs of Pravistatin and Dr. Myers had a plan to lower my cholesterol was 301and my Triglycerides were 200. Dr Myers told me to eliminate sugar, grains and dairy products from my diet. There is a Maximized Living nutrition book that has an advanced plan and a core plan. This book will help you with your meals and inform you what foods are good for you and what to stay away from. After 2 months on this diet, my cholesterol went down to 216 and my Triglycerides went down to 75. I also lost 20lbs. I have heard other patient's testimonies about how Dr Myers helped them with their issues. Some of their issue range from heart problems, back issues, depression, acid reflex, sleeping issues and the list goes on. If you have family members, friends, coworkers or neighbors that have any of the above issue or they think they have no problems, they need to have their spine checked by Dr Myers if they never had it done before. I'm just so thankful for Dr Mark and just wish I knew about the Maximized Living Chiropractors and their philosophy sooner. There 5 essentials for healthy living are: 1. Maximized Mind. 2. Maximize Nerve Supply. 3. Maximized Quality Nutrition. 4. Maximized Oxygen and Lean Muscle. 5. Minimized Toxins. read more
