She explained completely what she was going to do and gave me a budget on how much it would be. I paid my deposit and set up the appointment for the "procedure" . During my service she and the rest of the team were super friendly and fun you can tell they're very knowledgeable about their craft and work together as a team. I enjoyed the whole process of my color and cut; Khaliyah was so patient with me while I was trying to makeup my mind about what I wanted, I'm glad I listened to her advice because we ended up with a beautiful healthy gorgeous hair. Located at the Salon Park are lots of other good businesses, but many have come and gone from here and some still exist and operate within the Park, and it's a great little concept where you can take a small amount of rent money and operate a salon inside a major collection of salons. It's a bit like Salons by JC which is a similar concept. But then they do a great job operating it and I'm sure they make pretty good money from it too. Sadly there are businesses here that have closed up and shuttered and moved out, as well as some other stuff that clings to life and does just enough business to survive. It's important that you give them your business because so many have already packed up and gone.

It took them 7.5 hours to do my boho braid bob which is a little faster than usual and not much different from the African braiders. They did all their parts very straight and added a number of touches here and there that gave the hair the appearance I wanted. The owner was very polite and offered refreshments frequently. I did not have 2 braiders the entire time, but they work as a team there and help each other out. The braiders only took the usual breaks so that made the process much more smooth. So far so good after three weeks. Excellent work.

I have really dry, coarse, wavy hair and really wanted to find someone who could not only cut hair well, but also give me advice on how to care for it so it doesn't look like a hay bail on my head after a few weeks. When asked if I wanted a "quick blow dry", I replied yes, assuming it was part of service. I've never left a salon with wet hair. When the receipt arrived- it was $70 for the "quick blow dry". This was my 1st visit and maybe should have been alerted to this extra service charge. This bordered on deceptive.
