I have used Megan for both pet sitting and boarding and have had a great experience both times. Very professional, highly recommended!

I was looking for a groomer close to my house. The entire staff at Fur Kids/Shady Acres Pet Ranch we're awesome. They were all very friendly and all very happy to see Elroy. They even gave Elroy a little birthday party since today was his first birthday! I highly recommend Fur Kids Grooming if you want to give your fur baby an excellent experience!

Her responses were fast, friendly, and thorough, and she made me feel comfortable about leaving my dog with her. Speaking of my dog... Sadie is 13 years old and quite the grouchy old lady. Her nails were horribly overgrown and I was too nervous to clip them myself. On top of that, she doesn't like to have her paws touched too much (in hindsight, maybe they were hurting her because of her freakishly long talons). After dropping her off, I was fully prepared to receive a phone call about how unruly Sadie was being and that her nails couldn't be done. That particular call never came. The only call I did receive was from Megan letting me know that Sadie was ready to be picked up. I couldn't believe it. She didn't chew anyone's face off? She wasn't being expelled for bad behavior? Nope! I arrived and found my old girl soft and fluffy. Her nails were even ground down much shorter than I thought they could be! In a good way! I received a report card detailing everything that Megan did and how Sadie reacted. Knowing Sadie is sometimes a little rotten (but I love her to pieces anyway), I consider Megan a miracle worker for getting her to cooperate! Megan has a true gift! If you're looking for a fantastic groomer, all of these 5-star reviews don't lie! She truly deserves every bit of praise she receives, so you should stop reading Yelp and start booking an appointment!

I have known Ally for around 5-6 years and she has taken care of our German Sheppard over the years and has given the same love, attention and affection to our dog that she shows her own pups. I would trust Ally with my dog's life, no hesitation. She is very in-tune with pet behavior and notices abnormalities quickly. She provides some of the best experiences for pups, taking them to beautiful open spaces to run around, on nice hikes or bodies of water, as well as good socialization. WARNING: Your dog may love Ally more than you after being in her care! Not only is Ally more than capable of taking care of all of your dog's needs, but she is one of the most pleasant and fun people to be around. I have been the lucky one knowing Ally all these years and would recommend her to anyone!

Kramer was always excited to see her...that made me happy to see. Ally kept Kramer in tip-top shape with long walks. Often she'd send me pictures/videos of Kramer in creek or playing with his buddies...brought a smile to my face. I should mention Ally took care of Kramer from when he was just a wee little boy to almost six years old. She helped me train him (although he obeys her more than me). Also, and this is super cool, Ally is a vet tech, so she was always quick to point-out when I needed to take Kramer to the vet. Okay Austin folk: y'all are some lucky SOB's to have Ally in your backyard!

Upon arrival, I asked whether any accommodation could be offered due to the delay. The response I received felt dismissive and the interaction quickly became unprofessional. Rachel initially stated that being late was not a significant issue because her shift had just started and she was coming from Georgetown. Later, a different explanation involving traffic was provided. The inconsistent communication and tone made the situation frustrating and uncomfortable. While waiting, my puppy had still not been checked in, so I contacted the salon's customer service line to ask about my grooming package. Management listened to my concerns, apologized for the experience, and offered discounts as well as complimentary grooming services to help resolve the issue. I appreciated their efforts to address the situation professionally. Unfortunately, Rachel did not apologize for the delay or proceed with my puppy's grooming appointment. As a result, management advised me to submit formal feedback regarding the experience. My concern is not that delays occasionally happen, but rather how the situation was handled. Clear communication, professionalism, and respectful customer service are important, and I hope this feedback helps improve future customer experiences.

We cannot say enough good things about Elyssa at PetSmart…read more Our dog, Cupid, was honestly a hot mess and not exactly thrilled about groomers. We had previously been turned away by another groomer who said he was "too aggressive," so we were understandably nervous going into this appointment. Alyssa took the time to talk with us, reassured us that she could handle him, and wow...she absolutely delivered. Cupid did AMAZING with her. He was calm, happy, and clearly comfortable in her care. When we picked him up, not only did he look incredible, but he felt unbelievably soft, smelled great, and most importantly he was back to his normal, happy self. It was such a relief after struggling to find the right groomer for him. Elyssa is patient, confident, and truly skilled at what she does. If you have a dog that's a little anxious, reactive, or just needs someone who really knows how to handle them, she's your person. We're beyond grateful we found her and will absolutely be coming back

I had managed to convert…read moremy BF (and owner of the house) that life would be so much better adding a four legged fur friend! Looking online for bulldog types in the general central Texas area, I was directed to Texas Humane Hero's that had recently taken in three cuties. So late on a Saturday we stopped in. Your heart has to be strong to not leave with a carload of wet noses, and I found two of three I was looking for. The site only posts a single picture so it was hard to know all the unique characteristics of each beforehand, and I almost gave up when I didn't see my #3 contender up front. Glad I went all the way to the back where dogs that are getting medical care were. I found my forever guy, sitting on his bed, looking so confused and needing a friendly pat or 24000...I stood by his kennel and he came over, smooshing himself into the fencing to give me a 2" square of white fur to touch. I obliged, and asked to take him out. Unfortunately he wasn't able to that day, but a staff person was swapping him to a new kennel and while he was out we bonded instantly. He Leander into my leg and melted under my head scritches and ear rubs. I snapped a couple pics before he was lead away. The next two weekends were similar, with several visits that felt too short and time spent walking with him around the very large, (an acre?) open area scattered with a couple picnic tables and plenty of good smells. He was getting all checked out and fixed up to be listed as ready to adopt, and I knew this sweet face wouldn't last long, so on a Sunday we went back, filled out the easy paperwork, paid the fees and brought home our loving happy boy! He was underweight, due to a food allergy and had a bad neck abrasion from the cone of shame he wore after being neutered, but he was so happy to have a comfy place to call his own he was extra good and eager to settle in The staff advised us that it can take three months or longer to dogs to fully adjust in their new home and offered services like obiedence training to help the process if needed. It's been just over 4 months since bringing him home and the staff was right. It takes time, consistency and patience learning to trust each other but we feel like a family and our boy is doing terrific acclimating to so much change. Given the correct food and proportions his attitude has 100% improved at meal time and he's gained 15lbs! THH gave us lots of coupons for food and vet services which we've used, and he's up to date in the micro chip directory, too! Adopting our sweet boy was a silky smooth process. I'd recommend checking there first for your next dog...or cat companion! I almost forgot to mention that they have a really nice, indoor cat house too! Stop by, visit with these sweet souls or look into volunteer opportunities. Any help is appreciated.
