We've been there for a few years and our rent kept going up despite all the difficulties getting to…read morethe units with construction as well as they don't seem to keep the grounds as clean as other facilities because there are tons of bugs all over the outside of units and until recently we had hardly any spider webs but they have gotten worse so I think it's an indication of the fact the grounds are not as clean as they should be and maybe the pest control is lacking from before. There's areas where there is puddles of mud that form when it is rain making it dangerous and difficult getting to one of our units and during the summer this area seemed to be an issue with mosquitoes and when we bring our son both of these were always a concern to have to keep reminding him to stay out of it or be careful and to come home with mosquito bites. We mainly moved due to price increases and the fact we found something closer to our home with controlled air space but the fact they were not keeping the grounds as clean sure made it a lot easier to make the decision despite the cost to move which is not cheap.

How many times is it ok for you guys to raise the cost of a unit? Every few months you will get a…read moreinnocent looking post card that just says "change of address " on the outside, but when you open it, surprise. It's another "small" bump on the cost of the unit. Since lost people have them on auto pay you would never even notice. I started at $70 a month and just received another magic postcard that would make it $125/mo. Thanks but no thanks. I will be moving my stuff out of there within a few days. Rip off.

They also make me feel safe here coming & going. If I email questions I get a very quick reply. I had a door issue they were quick to respond and address. I like the code to get in & out so I can come and go as I need to. I chose a non climate control unit, because I need drive up access. Otherwise I think I would suggest you get one with climate control for your own comfort if you will be in & out. Not an issue with the facility, just a suggestion in general. It is a little pricey, and you need to have insurance on your items. It was easier to just use theirs, so that is what I did, no issues thus far. A few things to note that I was not aware of- There is nowhere to toss regular trash, I have to take it with me. They have a dumpster you can use but there is a monthly fee and it wouldn't be worth it unless you had a lot of trash to dispose of each month and I do not. They did offer to assist if I had a box or something as a one off which was very nice of them. The other thing that surprised me was it costs more to have extended hours access. I do not recall how much it was because the regular access hours are early enough and late enough for my needs so I think you'd only need it if you come really early or return really late.

Once inside, the storage lockers are clean and the walkways are clear. He greeted us every time we arrived to drop off more items or to retrieve items. He answered every question we had over the phone, prior to our securing a rental space and the prices remained what he quoted us over the phone, once we arrived. As a parent out of state, you want your young adult children to encounter other adults they meet in the world to treat them with respect, courtesy and honesty. Allen did all of that and almost felt like family in the end. He knew my daughter was navigating this on her own as she interned for a season with the Atlanta Falcons and that she wouldn't be a long term renter and that didn't matter. He would do whatever he could to make her rental experience as smooth and simple and as affordable as possible. So if you ever need to store your belongings in the Flowery Branch area, you need to go to USA Storage Centers and ask for Allen. He's our guy and he won't let you down!

Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. I will complete my review tomorrow It is tomorrow William and team got it done. Very happy with every aspect and the final bill came in under the estimate. I can't say enough good stuff here. Right from the start Robin answered all of my questions, took personal interest in my move and made sure my quote included a team of 3 people to handle the move smoothly. I was moving from a 3rd floor unit with stairs to a 4th floor unit with an elevator. The morning of the move Antonio and his team of 3 additional men showed up, exceeding my expectations. They worked feverishly & professionally, treating my belongings as if they were their own. Once they unloaded all my belongings at the new location, they asked me where I wanted everything placed & took the time to unwrap & reassemble my furniture, place it, and place the boxes in their specific rooms, saving me from additional work. Above & beyond that, their courteous, friendly, respectful manner and care throughout the day made this move not only smooth but enjoyable! Additionally, their pricing was the most reasonable I came across, including wrapping for no additional cost, as well as showing up with an extra team member! The truck was exceptionally clean (unlike most uhauls) and didn't smell. Found out they only rent newer trucks (think he said 2007 models or later). I completed the entire lease process online, including signing all documents. I had no sooner finished the lease purchase when I received a phone call from Sarah confirming my reservation. Sarah has communicated expectations, and I have set up auto-pay to ensure my payment is made regardless of what other things I have ongoing each month. The auto-pay feature offers a great piece of mind. I feel like this location is as secure as possible with the installed gate, cameras, and lighting. No location, including your backyard, guarantees security, but this is why I carry full coverage on my investment and list FreeUp Storage as an interested party. After a month of leasing from FreeUp, I am confident in posting a five-star review of my experience.
