I've been doing business with this office for over 30 years. When we were purchasing a house from the builder, he kept moving the closing date around, Each time we needed an updated insurance binder. That may be a simple thing to do perhaps, but the people in the Needham office took care of it with no issues. They made sure we had what we needed. Excellent job. The worst issue I had was when the wrong driver was assigned points in an accident. Also, according to the paperwork the same driver was driving both cars in the accident. The Needham office was unable to fix the problem. I could go into the gory details as to why but its irrelevant. Two different people in the Needham office were unable to resolve the issue over 3 years. They would stop looking at it unless I prompted them with a phone call. I somehow got in touch with Nilda in the Cambridge office and she was able to figure out why this was going on and knew exactly how to fix it. Can't say enough good things about Nilda. Unfortunately she is part time. She actually remembered the original agency I started with(my cousins). Overall, the Needham office has been lackluster in solving problems. Another time I called up to get changes done to my insurance and the person(yet a third person) that was helping me seemed excellent, until a long weekend happened and she simply dropped my matter. I had to call up to get her started on it again and I had to remind her what it was she was working on. She had forgotten our discussions entirely until I prompted her. The other negative is that most insurance companies and agents will proactively ask you questions to try and get you the discounts appropriate for you. eg. Good GPA driver, driver lives more than 100 miles from home...etc. Every year I have to call up and play twenty questions with someone in the Needham office to get them to apply the proper credits/discounts. I feel like I don't have an agent as I am doing all the work. My wife and I were outright thinking of leaving Kaplansky. It occurred to me today that perhaps I should just contact a different office and have someone there do the work. I might try this before I leave. I'm uncertain.

In the meantime I've been trying to get in touch with someone to go over my policies and make some changes. No one will call me back. Not Taylor, not Sean the office manager...I even tried to get an appointment at the Cambridge office and no one called me back. It's pretty obvious they don't want my business. I'm in the process of changing agencies. I don't recommend them at all. So almost immediately after posting this review I got a call. The next day I had an appointment in the office and we went over everything and they ended up saving me a few hundred dollars. Great. Fast forward to this morning . I need a home owner policy for another property. After several attempts at calling I finally got someone. They took my information and said someone would call me back in 20 minutes. It's been several hours now and still waiting. I'm unable to get anyone on the phone despite repeated attempts. It's like they don't want/need my business. I'm sure I'll get a call after I post this. Really sad it has to come to this. Oh and I also stopped by their Concord "office" since it's on my way home. Lights out and locked up tight at 4 pm.

She guided me through hard choices on coverage, gave me an unbeatable price, and were a pleasure to work with the whole time. It is 100% worth at least getting a quote from these guys. The staff at Guard Insurance (a) had no copy of my insurance policy in their files and (b) had to forward my questions to the insurance company for answers rather than themselves being competent enough to help me interpret those. At one time they even directed me to the "parent" company Quinn Insurance for answers. I was naive enough to think Guard Insurance represents my interests. Through this devastating experience I have found out that they truly protect the interests of the Insurance companies they sell policies for, not the customer. Buyer beware.

First the owner sent me one agent that made first contact with me by asking me to review an auto and renters policies despite originally stating I was seeking only renters at the time. No policies were attached to the email and after I asked a few days later if they were actually mailed instead I heard nothing for several weeks until I reached out to their main email again. The owner then sent me another agent that also set up an auto and renters policy combo but this time actually attached it. Then the first agent came back out of nowhere with her own policies. Good grief. I told that story to tell this one, Alexis at Click Insurance is an all-star MVP and I'm wicked happy I went with my gut after seeing the other reviews. I knew there was potential bit of savings to be had by bundling auto and renters and after speaking with Alexis for no more than five minutes I knew she was going to find me the very best coverage for me. Floored by the thoroughness and transparency. Multiple comps were run and I ended up with a new insurance company once she showed me how I could get better auto coverage all around, plus renters, for less than what I was currently paying for just my auto policy! Can't beat that! She answered all my questions and took care of everything. Making it even easier, all I had to do was digitally sign some documents by email and, voila, done!

The Erics are awesome, and usually helpful…read more You *do* spend quite a bit of time in voice mail tag, but there's something charming about insurance salesmen who *aren't* trying to screw you over, their cluttered office in a converted house and the whole laid-back milieu. Rarely do they have immediate answers for me, but I shopped around and no one had immediate answers either, so why not? They're friendly, they're helpful, they give good advice.

They are so busy, they don't answer the phone - they call you back after you leave a message. It's very frustrating not to be able to get an answer for a simple question or resolve an issue without playing phone tag for days or weeks. Email seems to be worse. Communication issues aside, we've had two major issues with this agency. First, even though when we enrolled we clearly wanted our policy auto-renewed (which EVERY auto policy I've had for the last 20 years has done), they didn't do it. As a result, we were unknowingly uninsured for 2 months, which is a disaster when you move to a new state and try to get coverage. It took a week's worth of phone calls to get our coverage started, and the MA DMV almost cancelled our registration. Second, when we moved, I called to cancel the policy. When I talked to Eric, he said he would cancel the policy, told me how to cancel my MA plates online, and that he would back-date the cancellation so we could get a refund for the time our coverage in our new state overlapped. Fast forward 3 months and the policy STILL isn't cancelled. Like I said, these are nice guys, but clearly disorganized and in the end, you really want to be able to get these things taken care of quickly and simply and not spend days, weeks, or months. Find another agent.

We recently bundled our condo policy with our auto policy, and Andy helped us get the best combined insurance at the best price, and answered my 500 questions along the way. Additionally, we also just switched our master insurance policy for our condo association, and he was incredibly helpful in educating me about the process and connecting with one of their partner organizations to secure new - and more comprehensive - coverage at the same price we were paying before. The whole agency has been incredible to work with, very friendly, and prompt with all communication and in answering my questions. I would highly recommend them!
