I said, I pay you, I have a note that says I hit your car with a name and number. After some back and forth, i was put through to file my claim with them. The following day, I called, ask to speak to the owner, his name is Josh, atleast that is the name they gave me. As I sit and write this review of them, I have not heard from Josh. I cannot fathom that my own insurance company told me to go through another insurance company. I will also be writing to Safety Insurace, about my ordeal at Ironside. I'm taking my 4k worth of policies and going else where. Imagine, my own insurance company telling me to claim elsewhere........what a waste of paying them for years.

I was transferred to the above person. I inquired about my insurance policy increase. I was informed that people call all the time regarding the increase cost of their policies. The agent proceeded to talk to me as if she was upset. I inquired how they go about getting the new rates. The agent informed me that they have various ways. When I inquired if rates for customers who have not had accidents and vehicles that are garaged with low mileage are rated. She was very condescending and spoke to me as if I was a child. I asked her several times to please try to understand that I just wanted to know how and why my rate was approaching 3000 dollars. She was rude and informed me that her coworker was listening. She was terrible and at the end informed me that she would review my policy and call me back and hung up. Customer Service appears to be a thing of the past. My husband was in complete shock at this agents behavior. I tried to explain to the agent that I just wanted know how and why my rates went up to almost 3000. I had my homeowners and auto insurance with Arbella for many years. Recently I changed to Geico…read morefor the auto insurance because it was half the price. The only two claims I have ever had with Arbella were two homeowner claims in the last three years (for $16k ice dam damage in 2015 and $7k for damage from a pinhole leak in a copper pipe) but this was enough for them to decide (at first) not to renew my policy. After posting this review on Yelp! I received a phone call from Bearingstar Insurance, agent for Arbella. They have now offered to renew my policy and I have accepted their offer. I am grateful for their follow-up to my complaint on social media, although it would have been even better had they listened the first time when I called them up after receiving my notice of non-renewal. I have therefore raised my rating to three stars and thank Megan (who commented on this review) for her assistance in this matter.

I'm trying to be reimbursed for my rental car that I had to pay out of pocket for because Arbella WOULD NOT accept liability even though my police report CLEARLY STATED THEUR CLIENT IS 100 percent at fault. So now, not only did I lose an $8k vehicle they've stuck me with a $2600 rental car bill. I asked to be contacted by a supervisor because David was NO Help. He just ghosted me not once but 2 times! I wouldn't use this insurance company. Considering I could have died. I was lucky to not get injured but we were both going about 40miles an hour for an almost head on collision. You're going to have to fight to get your money. And looks like they're sticking me with a bill their client is liable for. The photo is HER car!
