I ordered 3 cartridges that did not work and sent them back for a refund. They asked if I wanted a check or Zelle and I chose Zelle. They did not send a Zelle refund and when I tracked said that they tried to refund my credit card and they were waiting on a charge back. The credit card I used had to be closed because just after I purchased the ink my card was used for fraud and the fruadster used Comp and Save's telephone number. The have been lying and stalling in refunding my money and then just stopped communicating with me. Now I have to make a complaint to the BBB, FTC, and AG Office of Consumer Affairs. I work hard and do not make enough to be robbed by this company. I would not use them and recognize the ink cartridges are of poor quality in the first place. Now they just proved to be a fraud. read more

I recently had an issue on a new remanufactured $70 set of 4 ink cartridges that did not work on my HP Office Jet 8020. The web site side they should but none of the cartridges were accepted. The error message on my printer said they did not have the approved chip for a remanufactured cartridge. Seems to be a real quality common issue with their cartridges. I contacted CompAndSave.com but they would not do anything to help since I was outside their return period. The fact that the chip was invalid should have been resolved by sending me an updated set of approved cartridges. All I received from their rep was a "sorry but your order is no longer within our warranty period". They will not stand by their products. I know I will never buy from CompAndSave again. :( read more

CompAndSave.com sold me a set of aftermarket Brother LC401 ink cartridges. They were not recognized by the printer at all rendering it useless. They did allow me to return the cartridges but would not refund the shipping charges. DO NOT BUY FROM CompAndSave.com. P.S.: Andrew Y. never contacted me. I understood that aftermarket toner, especially Canon with the chip, most likely not be recognized by the printer. But the quality of toner cartridge from compandsave is bad. Magenta leaked within the sealed package, and the replacement magenta tone was leaking, in a controlled way, during printing, resulting in occasional magenta stripes and dots. The black toner stopped functioning within 2 weeks and printing out only in light gray. Somehow the Cyan and Yellow works better with only occasional color problems. Sure the customer service response is within expectation, but was offer only to replace piece meal, so I was forced to order from another vendor, and ending up with much better results. I will NEVER order from them again. read more

I have been buying CompandSave ink cartridges for my Epson WF-2750 for about 3 years; EXCELLENT quality and 1/3 the cost of Epson cartridges; Epson's profits are attained by selling high priced ink, not the sale price of the printer. read more

If you're willing to buy new printers every year, then please go ahead and buy these knock-off cartridges. They claim their cartridges are compatible with HP and they ARE NOT. You'll know this once your printer dies from using these cartridges and that will be pretty much after their one year warranty. HP sends firmware updates to your printer and basically locks-out all the knock-off cartridges. Comp&Save WILL NOT stand by its products and will care even less about your ruined printer/s. Very bad quality and even worse customer service. Would not recommend to anyone. Buy the genuine cartridges to save your printer and your time AND to avoid the hassle of contacting Comp&Save. read more

do not buy from this company! I purchased 4 toner cartridges for HP Laserjet 2600 and installed 3 new cartridges. 2 left streaks and spots all over docs! (black & cyan). These cartridges obviously are very old and sat for a long time! customer service is terrible! trashed both cartridges! The printer is not problem as I have never had an issue replacing toner in past. they don't refund shipping!! will never use again. Unless you have a new printer don't purchase from them. For older printers like the HP 2600 they ship you very old cartridges. not worth the headache. My first and last time purchasing from them! read more

I had a problem with some cartridges but was issued a refund. After submitting photos of the original printer cartridges and the replacements , it was agreed that they were not compatible with my printer. Problem solved. read more

Another heads up - on previous post, the President of the company (re: whomever handles these PR issues) stated that 'I'll PM you'. That never happened, but they did send a 15% off coupon. NOT THE POINT. I ordered new toner cartridges from LD out of Los Angeles. Product cost less, was delivered in 3 days, and the best part? The cartridges from LD are providing deep, dense colors, and are compatible with my laser printer - delivered as promised. What a shame ComandSave chooses backward business practices. read more

Do NOT order from this company. First, when I ordered the toner online my card was ran three times. When I contacted the company they advised that the reason was because the first two times I tried processing my card that the address did not match the address on the card and they sent me an e-mail with that message. That is not how banks work. When you get that error message and have to run your card again. Second, I paid for overnight delivery. It took this company over a week for me to receive the toner. Third, when I received the toner my printer could not read the cartridges. The issue is NOT user error. This is a new printer. If I could give this company zero stars I would. read more

A waste of money and time. Having to remove the chip from each of the empty cartridges and replacing the chip in the new cartridges is not an easy task. There isn't anything that confirms that the replaced cartridge chip is locked in place therefore if just one of the cartridge chips is not securely in place your printer will not work. Good luck trying to determine which chip is not securely in place. You have to remove each cartridge and recheck each chip. To replace the new cartridges you also have to remove a piece of the plastic with the pliers/tweezers that come with the new cartridges since this ordeal is a "DIY" (Do It Yourself). Again, the piece of plastic that has to be removed is not corrugated and doesn't evenly come off with the pliers. You have no idea if you've taken off too little or too much of the plastic in order to insert the chip. New cartridges from HP are expensive $300-$400 range whereas Comp and Save's price is less than $175. My time and the aggravation isn't worth it. If only DIY's are available with Comp and Save and other HP competitors then I am forced to research other printers with less costly ink refills or to find a competitors that doesn't use DIY cartridges. read more

I ordered my ink on 14 Dec., but it hasn't come in yet. No tracking updates. So I contacted the customer service and they told me that I should contact USPS directly to find it! I can not believe it..Since when it's my responsibility to go around and find packages. Today is 10th business days so they wanted me to wait another day for refund processing that I requested. I get that holiday seasons get all crazy with mailing stuff, but I don't get that how the customer service handles issues like this! So poorly managed!! My sister recommended this place so I have no doubt about the quality of the inks, however, the customer service totally made me walk away! read more

This is a warning to be certain you want to use an after-market product before ordering printer ink cartridges from CompAndSave. I cannot attest to the quality/performance of the ink because I chose to return it rather than modify my HP printer settings. However, the return process was not executed efficiently and required two follow-ups over a two week period before my refund was issued. read more

I've purchased from them in the past with goodresults. However, in a recent purchase (4 toner cartridges) one cartridge was bad. The replacement process is quite laborious. 1) you either "chat" online or call (I tried both). 2) even though 3 of the 4 are fine, they won't accept a return until it is "approved" by someone. 3) then, in 1-2 days I'm to receive an email re. whether the return is approved and a label. 4) they cannot replace, only refund (pending approval). 5) they won't accelerate or send out a new cartridge; you have to re-order. Of course, any shipping discount (in this case that I got by ordering 4 cartridges) is now lost on the re-order. A supervisor called me back. I ask him, since they shipped a defective toner cartridge, how about shipping out a replacement overnight or next day air. He states they don't have the ability to ship overnight. Then, when I press him, he says he can ship overnight of $163.00. (Translation: go to Best Buy and pay retail for an HP cartridge for $65.00). I press him, you can go to USP and ship in an overnight envelop for $10.95 or so. "We don't have that capability" he says. If you get good refurbished cartridges from CompAndSave, great. But if you have problems, good luck. This is the last purchase I make from them. read more

Complete disappointment with this company. Their people skills at best are cruel, racist and only accept people of Asian descent. They use their own language as the barrier to communicate around their employees. They segregated someone I knew that worked in their Newark facility. Be very careful as their warehouse is infested with cockroaches. The person I knew there never brought anything in because did not want those eggs or the insect to travel home with that person. It's not okay in America to treat employees like they are less then human. read more

I've ordered ink cartridges from Comp and Save for a couple of years now and have not been disappointed until now. The last two times I ordered replacement ink cartridges for my HP OfficeJet Pro 8620, the color pictures lacked luster, which is an understatement to say the least. I fired off an email to Comp and Save regarding my concerns about the quality of their HP ink but never heard back. I got the feeling that Comp and Save couldn't be bothered about an order worth less than $50. I don't know what happened to their quality control but it's gone down the drain. My friend ordered a set of cartridges for his HP OfficeJet 8620 and none of them worked. read more

When I received the package of cartridges, i opened one to install and it spewed ink all over my jeans. So now I have 8 cartridges that I view as useless and a ruined pair of jeans. Upon pulling out the other 7 cartridges from the mail package and looking at the packing slip I saw a warning to only open the cartridges over a sink because they may be overfilled by their factory.
