An excellent and generously thorough beard-shaping and straight razor edging of my beard this morning. Eric is super pleasant attending to the person in the barber chair. read more

Both my husband and father-in-law walked in these past two weeks and got quality haircuts. They were very pleasant and had a good attention to detail. My father-in-law appreciated them so much he prompted me to write this review. read more

Michael was great. Really attentive to detail, relaxing vibe and an amazing haircut. Looks great!

Michael was very friendly and offered good advice when I came in not really knowing what I wanted

Went for the first time today and it was a great experience. My haircut was perfect and the staff are friendly and professional. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs a haircut read more

Best haircut ever! Great welcoming service, clean and professional and always accommodating!

This was my go-to barber shop until Kory left for The Roosevelt Barber Shop. When the owner, Michael, cut my hair it would take a third of the time and never be what we discussed upfront. Not a bad dude, but the price for that cut was crazy. Kory's skills and work ethic are on a whole other level. I live in Ballard, but I drive to see Kory now. read more

I needed a haircut badly and hadn't chosen a barber after moving to a new neighborhood. I decided to stop by and see if there were any walk ins available since I didn't have an appointment. Michael was able to fit me in between clients and gave me the whole service: hair cut, beard trim, shampoo, style, neck shave. It's been a long time since I've treated myself to that, and Michael did a great job. I'll definitely be returning. The vibe in there is great. It feels fresh, clean and modern, but as mentioned above, Michael offered all the services a traditional shop offers, which is harder to find than you'd think. read more

One of the best cuts I've ever had and probably the best hair experience of my life. The clipper cut + scissor cut + hot towel + shampoo + blow-dry felt so luxurious. Michael was also extremely skilled at creating the custom curly + fade style I wanted and was always checking in to make sure it looked the way I wanted. So kind. Give this man your business! read more

Michael is a great guy who runs a great business and cuts hair like no other. Couldn't ask for a better experience and I will always keep coming back. read more

Very overpriced for men's haircut. $63 if using card and that's before the tip. Basically you get a buzz based on the length you wish to keep with very little hands on scissor work to check to see if the buzz was even or if there are areas that needed more attention. The hair around my cowlick area is way longer than any cut I have gotten before at other places and it remains unruly after my haircut. read more

Community provides quality service and a relaxing environment for a haircut and neck shave. I'll be coming back. I worked with Kory and found him very attentive and caring. He asked for what I wanted, checked in along the way, and made certain I was satisfied with the outcome. read more

Great haircut, and great product suggestions when I brought up problems with current item. I really like my haircut. Very glad I came!

Great service. Walk-in appointments are totally welcome. The owner is a really kind, very friendly gentleman who will always make sure your needs are met. His pricing for the area its in is extremely reasonable. I'm a 37 yr old male who usually goes for the regular men's trim cut or the deluxe cut & shave. Recommend read more

Michael at Community Barber and Shop has been cutting my hair for over a year now, and he makes sure I always leave feeling properly cared for and more handsome than when I came in. I get the standard short cut each time, which includes a lovely hot towel and shampoo service. Michael is incredibly nice and runs a clean shop. I look forward to my next appointment with him. read more

They do a great job with my two sons and my husband likes them too. Shop is clean and stylists are very nice.

We had the same experience as someone else who wrote a review here . We loved Kory. I asked Michael where he works but he didn't tell me and now that I know, I will be booking at Roosevelt Barber Shop. My son had the new person, Lina, and I'm sorry but not only did she not do a good job but at some point, as we were trying to ask for changes, she looked at Michael as if rolling her eyes. That is so unprofessional. Michael offered at the end for us to come back if we didn't like it after a few days and they would fix it free of charge but we will not be back. read more

Michael is awesome -- so kind and does a great job on my kiddo's hair. I highly recommend Community Barber & Shop!

An excellent cut every time for me and my two sons. Our new go-to and we will be returning again soon!

So I have been looking for a top notch barber ever since I moved to Seattle. All I can say is I feel at home at the Community Barber and Shop. Michael did an outstanding job with my crazy long hair. I'm super specific about my haircut, and Michael asked many questions to make sure I was pleased with my cut. I arrived around 3:05 pm on a Saturday, he kindly greeted me and then I sat in the chair and discussed the cut I wanted for a few minutes. After that we just talked and got to know each other. Every step of the way I was asked a question to ensure it was the way I wanted it. After my initial haircut was over he then washed my hair with shampoo and conditioner (also had the nice touch of a hot towel). After that he just used a straight edge razor to clean up behind my neck and around my ears. Cash and card are welcomed. Couldn't be any more happy. If you're thinking of trying a new barber I wouldn't even hesitate to recommend Michael. A1 top of the line service. 100/10 read more

I've taken my teen boys here a couple times now to see Michael, and they've been really happy with their haircuts. I used to dread taking them for haircuts, because they were never happy but Michael does such a great job doing exactly what they ask for. He's also quick, and it's been easy to get appointments within a day. Can't recommend him enough. read more

Consistent service, consistent product. Highly professional, I recommend this place as the best spot in Seattle

Community Barber and Shop - My haircut from Community Barbershop! - Barbers Near Me - Seattle, Washington

After moving to Seattle from clear across the country, I found a great deal of difficulty with the quality and service of some of the "chain" barbershops in the area. After multiple less than stellar experiences, I finally found Community Barber and have since had 0 issues. Michael is courteous, professional, and always gives top notch haircuts. I'm very grateful for these guys! read more

A new barbershop in the Ballard area with a convenient location right off 15th. Nice and clean looking! Went in during their soft opening. Asked for a mid-fade and to cut a little from the top. The end result looked so clean!! Michael took his time to get it right which I appreciated. That plus great prices and great customer service, I look forward to being a regular customer! read more

Good haircut, asked me questions to make sure they understood what I was looking for. Friendly, professional and clean place

The best barber experience I've had in Seattle. Coming from a city with a big barber culture, I've had a hard time finding a barbershop that i liked in Seattle. This place checks all the boxes; Great shop talk, good styling recommendations and great attention to detail. Worth every penny. Highly recommend. read more

Today was my first time here. I walked in but Michael was busy and his schedule was full. (After my haircut I see why he is in such high demand.)
