I had the Lolo blonde and Bananas & pajamas. not much of a beer drinker lately.. but these were perfect for a solo drink after work. This place is more of a 4.4. Once again, Yelp's failure to use a ten point scale rears its ugly head. The look of the place is industrial, like so many other independent breweries. This isn't a huge negative, but the place could use a theme of some sort. The bar looks good. However, the most important component is the quality of the product. We tried four options -- three seltzers and one beer. I am not a beer person, but the creamy stout was pretty good. All three seltzers were very good. Many times, a seltzer with have a medicine flavored finish, but all three were very smooth and flavorful. The POG was the best of the three. It was slightly sweet, but the combination of Passion Fruit, Orange and Guava were perfect solution for the incredibly hot day. We enjoyed it enough to get a growler - which can be refilled on subsequent visits. I hope this business has the opportunity to flourish, since their product is as strong as any of the numerous standout Orange County breweries. read more

Common Corners is definitely a local favorite. The space is modern, and has a decent amount of seating for the small space. Parking isn't a problem. This is a place I can work remotely in or just catch up with a friend. Staff is always chill and very kind. The beer is delicious. Always well rounded, unique flavors, and reasonably priced. The rotating selection always has something on tap to draw us in. The food vendors they bring in are usually pretty good. Only downfall is since it's a microbrewery, new beers on tap will go fast! So good! As of the time of this review, the brewery has been open for just over a year. The beer, the space, the service - everything here is fantastic! The beer selection is actually manageable. It's been a bit overwhelming going to other breweries where there are 50+ options. Here, there are roughly 8 beers to choose from. We did half pours since there is no flight option (boo!). Half pours are $5, which are pricey in my opinion, but the pours seem daily generous. The beer itself is wonderful. We loved the sour and the farmhouse ale with fruit. The hazy was definitely hazy and the coffee stout was a hit. The indoor space is beautiful but simple. It still feels like a brewery and not a hip coffee shop, yet still modern. The outdoor space is also quite nice and ample given the location of the brewery is in a strip mall. Service was friendly given we had many questions about each of the beers. Led by husband and wife team, shout out to Justin, this establishment is many years of hard work, dedication and sacrifices; they started at a farmers market. People here are chill, a pour for $8 and they're even playing Happy Gilmore on screen. What makes this place special? Floors are clean, tables are clean, nothing is sticky and you won't find broken juke boxes. What you'll get here is a micro brewery with so much passion that you can taste in every pour. Is this a date place? Perhaps not. But more to take some alone time from yourself, treat yourself a bit and offset your chores till tomorrow. Love love this place! Very chill. It has the coffee vibe but with alcohol involved. The bartenders were so kind and laid back. It felt like you were hanging out with a couple of friends. I love that people bring their kids and their dogs here. We met and made a new friend here. We hung out and babysat her dogs while chatting and talking about life. I went here since my friend and Nelly's Eggrolls invited me to stop by. We were so hungry, and they let us bring our food (we got there early). We just ate more when Nelly's Eggrolls came - it goes so well with their beer collection! I saw the review of a non-beer drinker rating this place mid, and I'm so dumbfounded why she even had to leave a review. Stopped by common corners after hearing about it through taste of walnut! The beer was fantastic! I started off with Lolos which is a farmhouse ale with calamansi. It was absolutely delicious. The calamansi flavor was strong but never overpowered the beer. We also tried out their IPAs: Glad We're Friends and Partycake. They were both smooth, flavorful, and well balanced. Delicious! I asked about an ube seltzer they served at taste of walnut but the server said it wouldn't make a comeback til maybe summer. Fingers crossed for it because that was FANTASTIC. Tasted like a red ribbon cake! They had a food pop up called Nellys Eggrolls outside. Perfect food to compliment beer! It was so cool to have a dozen lumpia to snack on while hanging out and playing board games with my friends. And the pork sisig paired perfectly with the Calamansi farmhouse ale!
