I definitely not recommend this place as when I went back to them the guy in the front desk said there's nothing they could do unless I wanted to buy a new wheel and get replaced. I've gone to Auto Mart several times, for regular maintenance & a few 'sudden issues'. They've always been great about doing what they can when an unplanned problem arises. I had a mystery problem that wouldn't act up when at the shop, but they didn't rush to replace parts, at my expense, until the problem could be solved. They assured me they would "be there for me" & to bring it in at the next sign of trouble... & they didn't even charge me for all of their testing & checking! My old-fashioned father was impressed & said, "They sound like good guys." They have 'gone above & beyond' for me, while being friendly & professional. Changed their names to commercial tire but this is the name that shows up on maps. So two reviews will be left. Long story short they left a set of pliers in my engine compartment (dangerous) and never tightened the coil pack on the spark plug #7 Where the misfire came from waited a week to be seen. Told them before hand it was a misfire. The mechanic scott said he would have his assessment done in an hour and a half. Finally heard back from him the next day. Said it was in fact a misfire, and Suggested spark plugs. He said it would cost 800$ but I was In a hurry to leave town and go on a trip for Christmas. Then came the three week wait. Three weeks to change spark plugs. The first week was expected, but after ten days I started calling. They always stalled me and said it was next on the list and that they would call me in the afternoon. They never would. Finally at week two they had finally LOOKED at it they said. ONLY LOOKED. And that they would have to order the parts and that they would be there in two days. A week later of playing the same one sided game of phone tag, I was so fed up I told them my friend had kicked me out of his house and that I would be coming to sleep in my car tomorrow. The next morning they called and said my truck was ready They told me they hadn't been able to fix the problem and that the misfire was worse than before. They drove it around, even took sensor readings. So when I finally took it home and went in to look. There was a pair of large expensive looking specialty pliers (which were returned) just floating around the engine compartment. And the problem that couldn't be fixed??? A loose screw on the coil pack above the spark plug. Everyone in town said good things and I still believe them to be decent mechanics. They just don't have the time to cover their workload and make excuses for it instead of turning away customers. read more

Now that I am too old to perform my own maintenance and small repairs, Automart is my go-to shop. Shop folks give me clear expectations for their work. Repairs, oil changes, etc are completed timely. I've never had to bring a car back for followup on repairs; work has been completed satisfactorily. went to this garage for warranty work. also wanted to have a few other things checked out. the owner began by telling me to find him a part number for part to be replaced(thought this was strange) i then continued discussing the other work i wanted done with another employee, the owner came out of a back room and upon interrupting discussion implied i wanted "free work". at this point i felt rather insulted and no longer wanted to discuss any of the extra work i wanted to pay to have done, since it seemed too confusing. he then stuck his head under my car for under 5 seconds and stated there was nothing he could do for me if i couldn't tell him why my vehicle was broken. i then stated to him that i did not know why, im not a mechanic, and i was told part was broken by another certified mechanic, and that i was sent to his shop because napa told me they should be able to cover my warranty work since they participate in that program. i don't know why my business was refused???? im under the impression warranty work doesn't pay the garage well so they shoed me off? no clue. i was so angry by the time i left. maybe these here people don't like my hair do or something. i wonder how they would have treated my grandmother. i will try to bring in the part after a professional mechanic replaces it to see if it improves his eyesight any. read more
