Building a wall with these is admittedly a lot of work -- they are 65lb each, so we were pretty tired -- but they are worth it in the end. The stones are definitely a step above what you will find in big box stores. There are helpful videos on YT and on the Mutual Materials website about how to install a proper foundation for your wall with 4-6" of crushed rock compacted and leveled underneath, as well as a good drain system behind it (otherwise even a short wall will buckle and sink due to inadequate compaction underneath and hydrostatic pressure and freeze/thaw cycles pushing it up and out).
