The view is absolutely insane and you are able to see parts of the underground that you can't currently see from anywhere else. Our first round of drinks was impeccable. Drinks presented with smoke, powder overlays of the colosseum, just top notch presentation. Our second round of drinks was the same price, but had 0 presentation. They just handed us standard cups of cocktails on ice. It was very odd. The drinks were creative and fun. I'd either research ahead or ask your server, as a lot of ingredients and flavors were new to me. The snacks were also delish! They had plenty of mocktails along with NA wine. They lose a star both for the lazy presentation on the second round AND the reservation system. Their reservation portal is near impossible to use on an iPhone. I kept needing to click on things that I physically could not scroll to. I also made a reservation for October 6, then got a confirmation for June 12. I assumed it was a translation error, but I was charged for missing June 12 (which was 6 months ago and I made the reservation in October) and was unable to cancel it since it was in the past. I emailed them and they completely dismissed me. Nobody answered my calls. Nobody answered Instagram. I had to go in person and it was a whole thing. They didn't care at all about the error or my experience. I got a refund but they didn't even honor my reservation or apologize even though it was completely on them. I got lucky and was able to snag a new res last minute, and my experience wasn't acknowledged at all. So beware...

Both were really good, and they brought out complimentary olives, potato chips, mixed nuts, and a pizza to enjoy with our drinks. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was excellent, and being able to enjoy an aperitivo with the Colosseum right in front of us made it one of our favorite moments in Rome. It's definitely a more upscale spot, but for the view and overall experience, it was worth it. Would definitely come back!
