I also enjoyed the Nespresso machine. It's so nice to be in a room that doesn't look like most of the corporate ones, bland and soulless. The free parking across the street is convenient, and the smores each day from 5pm to 7pm are a lovely touch. There is a restaurant on site, Kucu Bistro, which offers Southwestern cuisine. The atmosphere is pleasant, and if we didn't stay there for dinner, we enjoyed our drinks the bar. This boutique hotel is a great option for us when skiing in the area, and we plan on going back next time!

All the lights are 'cozy' and 'romantic', but we're here as tourists, and being married 51 years, we're probably as romantic, and sexier, as with LIGHTS. I should give 1 star negative, for the hand-help shower not working at all! Bonus for water, like we have in Oregon, for I didn't need conditioner on my hair, nor bottled water. (Testing how the Colorado water handles my hair. It past the test). Bonus for no drafts in our bedroom. Bonus for location in Italian restaurant, just across the street. I am subtracting 1 star, for NO MICROWAVE and NO FRIDGE in the room. Our breakfast comes with three choices of pancakes breakfast, bacon and egg breakfast and biscuit and gravy breakfast. (Same on the 2nd day). And a slice of fruit (watermelon). (They forgot the fruit on the 2nd day). They also have you wear a lanyard, to indicate you're a member of the hotel, which is OK and leave it when you leave. There are NO COFFEE available in the room. Tea yes. NO LUGGAGE racks! We're on the floor, facing the outdoor pit fire. There's a S'mores between 5 to 7pm. I keep hearing drum beating sound, like it's coming from next door, outside, or part of ringing in my ears. It's coming from the restaurant below us. Note: it's too early listening to that kind of loud music, specially during breakfast! I asked the host to turn it down please.

The room exactly as advertised, long and narrow with bed, couch, mini kitchen with sink and fridge, fairly spacious bathroom and shower, hutch for suitcase/hanging clothes, mirror by the door. Only minor annoyance: I saw in some other reviews people mentioning loud noises at night which I think I figured out was from the climate control, because after the first night of struggling to sleep through the banging noise, I turned off the the air at night and heard no further noises. The common areas were great and the shared kitchen was useful. They hot tub was big enough for several groups of strangers to have space and the towels were easily available. There was an ice scraper available to use after the storm. Receptionist was taking what sounded like a personal call on speakerphone while checking me in, not super professional, otherwise staff were helpful especially after we forgot something in the lobby after checkout. Behind the hotel was the most LOVELY walking path along a river, highly recommend strolling along for some beautiful views. It's close to a solid grocery store (City Market), gas station, and shops, easy access to Rte 70 to head into the city or out to the mountains. Parking was filled up late but next door is a little overflow lot and had plenty of space left (no signage but just to the left of the hotel building).

Check in was a breeze as the team reached out ahead of our arrival to confirm when we'd get there. With their app I could even store my room key for a digital entry (sans physical key card). How good! The exterior parking lot is small tho they do offer underground parking. The fee to park per night was $15 - which was a non negotiable since I was there with someone for their surgery. The room was spacious and very clean. Restroom/shower were also easily accessible. We had a small kitchenette with everything we needed to enjoy a snack or little meal prepared in the room. The fridge was spacious and we were able to stock up on fresh and nutritious bites at the nearby city market. Breakfast buffet was awesome and available for a few hours. While I usually opted for the oatmeal and fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs they offered so much more. DIY breakfast burritos with sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheese and various salsas. Not to mention toast, bagels, cereals, yogurt, coffee, juice, tea, etc. With your key card/digital access card you can enjoy their gym. Sparkling and clean with various cardio and weight equipment. I went down very early in the morning and someone was already there getting their sweat on. The hotel also has wheel chairs for use on site. Super helpful to get someone in the elevator and back up to the room after surgery. Overall great stay & interactions with staff who went above and beyond to make sure we're were comfortable and had everything we needed. Look forward to staying again and trying out their restaurant.
