    Since moving to Raeford, we've used Sandhills for our heating upkeep and various little things…read more However, this week, I had a major issue with an overhead light in the guest room - one that is occupied for the next couple of weeks. I messaged their "need an appointment" system Thursday night. Nothing then and nothing up to the next day at 10am. I then called and they told me same-day was a $75 upcharge, even though we are yearly members. I asked to speak to someone to check availability asap to see if I needed to pay that, or could just get help after the weekend. They said they would send my info over. Nothing about a wait. Nothing about being busy. FIVE+ hours later (3PM) I called again to check on progress and complain. They put in an "urgent" checkmark so the office would hurry and get back to me. They had almost 2 hours to do so. NOTHING. All this time, no help. No call to say busy, to say we can help next week/month/year. I WILL NOT be back. You should go elsewhere too. EDIT :: Well, the customer service rep told me that there were errors by the answering service - as they didn't tell me that the office would be closed and gave misinformation. I've been assured they will be fixing this error for future. In the meantime, 3 excellent people came to the house and fixed my lighting issues quickly, courteously, and politely. I can say they have earned my business back.
