Always so friendly and responsive. They've cared for our heating/cooling for many years and do a great job.

My heat unit was having issues during the snow storm keeping up. I called to get it serviced and they had the repair guy here the same day. Rasheed was so knowledgeable, quick and polite. He had the part readily available and fixed it quickly. Such a great employee that you have working for you!! read more

Have used Air Specialties for years for general maintenance as well as emergency services. We use their maintenance program and have always been happy with the service we received. The biggest reason I'd recommend is the after hours/emergency service. I have had 2 instances where our HVAC went out (older unit) and the 24 hour service tech was so kind, went through basic troubleshooting with me and then came out that evening (both times over the weekend, once a holiday weekend) to help get the AC back up and running. Will continue to use and recommend this local company! read more

I had a new unit placed in Sept 2022. Was under the impression that I had a warranty. As it turns out, the warranty does not really cover you. I started hearing a buzzing noise coming from the unit, so I called to have someone come out and take a look. Here is what I was told "We charge 99 dollars to come out and diagnose plus parts". So just beware while they are very nice, they are going to charge you every time they come out regardless of warranty. I should have stayed with Carolina Heating an Air, they actually stood behind their warranty. The first 10 years they never charged me a dime to come out and fix any issue. read more

Our 19 yr old HVAC died and ASoP was honest and super professional when handling this expensive decision. I could not be more pleased with the service and expertise we received from Kyle and his team. A home run crew that I am now proud to be a part of after 20 years of serving this great nation. This team is exceptional and I'm proud to now serve the Sandhills region in the comfort advisor role having first hand knowledge on the product and service we offer. read more

Super fast and friendly service. They were able to get me into the schedule right away. The tech was extremely polite and helpful. In a time where it seems like great customer service is fading Air Specialties was a breath of fresh air (no pun intended). read more

The technicians that replaced my entire system were extremely professional, proficient, and polite. They spent hours making sure the system was properly installed and working correctly. Kyle stopped in multiple times to make sure everything was going smoothly. At the end of the day there was no mess (at all!) and I had air conditioning! They also filed the paperwork with the energy company for a rebate on the system. Excellent service! read more

I am very pleased with them and would recommend anyone needing any work done to call them. The price and the quality are excellent as well. Saturday at 8am HVAC down because of an attempt by us to install a Nest. Spoke to technician immediately and he promised to arrive within 1 hour. Not only did he arrive on time but he was tech savvy and installed the Nest! (which I thought I would have to return). Awesome, Awesome Service and a nice guy!!! And the price was super reasonable for a weekend. Would highly recommend! read more

They were very responsive with a next day appointment. (They would have come during off-hours, but it wasn't an emergency, so I opted for next day.) The technician was very nice, professional and explained everything to my satisfaction. Thank you! read more

OVERCHARGED! Took advantage of a landlord calling from out of state. They said they'd call prior to doing work, but went ahead and did it anyway, with me having to call a day later to find out what was wrong and how much it cost. They did refund the diagnostics after I complained, which was nice. read more

I guess the topic for me with this review is how much money do you need to make off of other peoples misfortunes. I have been with Air Specialties for over 15 years and they put my last HVAC unit in 2005. Being that I was in the military and constantly deployed overseas I relied on them to keep the house cool or heated for my family. However, since my retirement I have regained some of these responsibilities and have been disappointed several times to the point I have switched companies, who are now putting a whole new unit in to include the duct system. I no longer have trust in this company and here are some of my reasons why; I have serviced my unit twice a year faithfully for the last 15 years only to learn, at least with one visit, that the service personnel came out but didn't service the unit. However, the company made it right and sent another person out to complete the job. Recently, the capacitor went out, a part that cost anywhere from $15.00 to 26.00 online and was charged $236.00, when asked why, I was told it was stocking cost as well as labor but was charged that as well. Recently the coils, in the air handler, went out, which is 15 years old and they quoted me 3000.00 for the job and 1100 for the coolant a 800.00 part and... After, consulting and researching this problem it was advised that a unit this old and with this amount of overall, the entire unit should be replaced. I have had several suppliers and companies come out and only one of them performed IAW: the law and codes. As stated, Air Specialities put in my first unit replacement but never discussed Manuel J calculations or Manuel D Calculations. My advise to anyone, is research your costly investment no matter how small, a part with 2 screws and 2 plug on wires that cost 24.00 dollars and charged 300.00 dollars should make anyone go "hum." I am currently and recently retired from the military and helping out 2 families through these difficult times and it is hard for me to fathom. I understand that everyone has to make money but at what cost?.... I wish this business the best; however, after 15 years I can no longer do business with people of this type of caliber. My advice is to research your options and companies you do business with, as not all have your best interest in mind. read more

I called Air Specialties to replace our HVAC unit on our Sonic restaurant in Aberdeen. They quickly sent me a price and once I accepted they scheduled the work. Within three days we had a new HVAC system working perfectly. They took care of everything in an efficient and professional manner. I give them my highest recommendation. read more

Fast, knowledgeable and friendly! After finding out our whole system needed to be replaced, they gave a thorough consultation with several options. I had no doubt after that meeting that we had chosen the right company for the job! They set up a date and the install went perfectly! So thankful! read more

Very pleased with the service I received from Air Specialties. The HVAC in our rental property went out in the middle of an especially hot week in July. After providing an estimate, Air Specialties told me they could get the unit I wanted in stock and installed later that week. I really wanted it sooner and I called around to find another contractor, all of whom came in well over Air Specialties' estimate...for the same exact unit! Not only did they provide the best price, but the owner, Kyle, spent time speaking to me over the phone about the options available to me and providing his honest and professional opinion (even when he thought I was ordering the unit from another company!). I was so thankful for his helpfulness, I waited the extra few days for the unit so I could purchase through them. Air Specialties is a top notch business and I can't recommend them highly enough! read more

We recently needed to replace our heat pump/AC unit. I called around to a few neighbors and got referred to Air Specialties of Pinehurst. We got an appointment for the next day and they got my 30 year old system working but we opted to get it replaced. After reviewing my options with the owner Kyle Cantelmo we settled on a unit and an install date. Pricing was very fair, the technicians, knowledgeable, the install went smoothly. This company is responsive, shows up when they say they will and has paid attention to all the details. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you Air Specialties! read more
