Danny and his team are fantastic. They kept everything clean and addressed all of our concerns. Our house is finally cool in the summer!

I had previously reviewed these guys and thought they were great. Well that's until you run into an…read moreissue with them. I've had them come out on 3 separate occasions since November 2025 to resolve an issue for me that never got resolved. They told me it was this then if it wasn't this it would be that. We jumped through the hoops and made all the changes to a tune of $800+. When the tech came out a third time in March 2026 and he literally told my husband what we had been having them come out to fix is how the system was intended to function. Sooo why did I just spend $800+ to fix a non-issue and why wouldn't someone else say that? Fast fast forward to May 2026 another tech comes in to complete regular service and what do you know that issue that the last tech said wasn't an issue turns out it is and now they said it would cost me an additional $1100 fix it. This is in addition to the $275 he had just finished swiping my card for to cover their yearly maintenance plan. I contacted the office and spoke to Frank. We agreed to split the initial $800 cost incurred and split ways and he'd reimburse me once he got the new quote. Sent him the quote but cropped the new company out because it's none of their business who has my business now. Well Frank now says they will not be able to reimburse me for failing to do the job and just charging me for things not needed unless I can provide them the invoice showing without cropping out the new company. I could be doing the repairs myself for all it matters. The point is providing you the next company's information should have no bearing or keep you from refunding charges that should have never been billed to begin with. Needless to say I am not being reimbursed half of the initial $800 agreed upon and Frank will likely come on here and try to justify not giving me my money back. Hope the $400 dollars is worth losing me as a customer forever and all the bad press I'm about to give you around town. I forgot to mention the new company is doing the job Cape Fear Air quoted for nearly half the price.

He was very thorough and spent a lot of time servicing my two systems. He broke down the mini-split and cleaned that system from the inside to the outside. He found that the main HVAC system blower capacitor tested out of range and replaced it upon me agreeing with him. Mike was very polite and courteous. He is very knowledgeable and gave me great advice to help me make good decisions to keep both of my systems running over this winter season.

I want to first start off saying that Joe, the technician that came out was good--no issue with…read morehim. My issue is the cost and still have not received an invoice after two attempts calling and stopping by their office. My AC went out and according to the technician, the pipes were clogged and needed to be cleaned. Since the pipes were backed up, it caused the drip pan to be full of water. According to the technician, to take a shop vac up to suck the water out of a 3' x 2' pan would cost me over $500. I asked if I could use my shop vac for free. He did not answer but gave a slight laugh. After all said and done, my total bill was over $1100. Again, I called them twice and stopped by the office to get the invoice and to discuss why it cost $500 to suck out water in a shop vac. Still no response from the 4 / 5 individuals I spoke with. They forwarded my information to Beverly in the Gardner office--let's see if I get a call. UPDATE: One week later--still no call from Blanton Air or Beverly. NEW UPDATE: Blanton Air called and finally sent me an invoice, after receiving the invoice, I had to ask them why I was charged with for water of a removal of a drip pan and a second drip pan (first time I even heard them mention a second drip pan)--this was their response. I just asked the hvac manager and there is only one drain pan under an HVAC unit. It's called the secondary drain pan because it backs up the primary drain line if it fails. That seems confusing I know but it's the term used in HVAC, not just for us. I also found this information as well. A secondary drain pan (also called an auxiliary drain pan) is a backup pan that sits under the indoor portion of the HVAC system--usually under an attic air handler or evaporator coil. What it does-- Its job is to catch water if the primary drain system fails. Normally, condensation from your AC drains out through the primary drain line. If that line clogs or the internal pan leaks/cracks, water can overflow. The secondary pan is there to catch that overflow before it damages ceilings, walls, insulation, or floors. In plain terms Think of it like this: Primary drain pan/drain line = the normal route for condensate water Secondary drain pan = the emergency backup pan underneath the unit Where it's usually found You'll most often see a secondary pan when the unit is installed above a finished space, especially: in an attic above a ceiling in some elevated closet/platform installs Why it matters If a unit is over a living area and there's no secondary protection, a clogged drain line can end up causing: ceiling stains drywall damage insulation damage mold concerns flooring or personal property damage.
