He did nothing but pad the hours for one excuse or another. The last time I got the son and his father who I assume was the owner. They were to repair/replace a water/sewage line from my kitchen. The line was behind my dishwasher. They ripped out the wall and repaired it. It wasn't until I replaced the dishwasher did I see the crappy work they did. Instead of repairing/replacing the drywall, all they did was just lend the pieces up against the wall leaving an entry way to under my house, bugs and spiders galore. Now we know how they were getting in.

We selected this company based on strong Google reviews and stated values…read more Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. While an estimate was provided, when we asked standard clarification questions about fixture appearance and scope prior to installation--important since the work was for an elderly parent--the company declined to provide additional details or photos and stated they could not answer the questions. Clear communication and transparency are important to us when work is being done in a family member's home. Repeated misspelling of my name in correspondence also raised concerns about attention to detail. Due to these issues, we chose not to proceed. Others may have different experiences, but this was ours.

My water well had a blowout 2 days before new years and water was spraying like old faithful. While…read moreI was out looking at the damage and shutting off the water, my wife called a couple of plumbing companies for repair. Of the first three companies she called, the one that could come out the quickest was Heavenly Throne - a local mom-and-pop shop (father son and another plumber). They sent out the young son that evening who assayed the damage which was only a hole in the galvanized "T" (about a $15 piece of pipe) The young man said the repair would cost "a few hundred dollars", and he would be out about 0900 the next morning to repair it. They didn't arrive until after 1030 the morning and after a few minutes the father-son team went back to their trucks. The son sat in his truck until the father came back with repair parts. They didn't bring with them any of the repair parts even though the son had come out the night before to assay the damage. When they came back the father assisted with the repair for a little more than 1/2 an hour and the son finished about an hour after that. When asked how much the repair was going to cost the father stated $853.33! Considerably more than the few hundred quoted the night before. When we asked for an itemized bill, the father stated they didn't do that. The son stated that an itemized bill was no longer an industry standard. They replaced several unnecessary parts and stated that they "may" eventually need replacing. After MUCH debate I finally got a bogus invoice which was eventually replaced with one that made sense, but only reported a breakdown of parts ($197.50); labor ($600.00); tax ($55.83); total ($853.33). There was no breakdown of labor cost per hour, how many hours or a list of what parts were used and the costs. How do you come up with a $600.00 labor charge installing $197.50 worth of parts in less than a few hours. When the son was finished, the water was turned back on and after a few minutes the pipe blew again because he didn't wait long enough for the PVC cement to dry. This error added another half hour to his stay. When he left, he took the PVC glue and left over PVC pipe that we were charged for. They certainly will never get a recommendation or be asked to return. I think they believe the lack of providing an itemized statement is their license to steal.

Meanwhile I had paid for two service calls that did not fix the problem. When a friend later viewed it for me he was surprised that any service tech would have done anything to try to repair it without advising me to replace it instead. The heater is obviously quite old, heavily rusted at top and bottom, leaking at the top (none of this mentioned by the first two tech visits). And the final straw was their quote to replace the heater - $250 more than than 3 other companies that gave me quotes.
