I hoped on Yelp to find an HVAC company with great reviews and after looking at a few, I decided to try Cape Fear. I called their after hours number and was immediately taken care of. The representative took my info and had Mike call me. Mike called me in less than 10 minutes and agreed to come out. He arrived about 30 minutes after we hung up, he located the problem, told us he could fix it and told us the cost. We agreed to the cost and Mike went to work. Our A/C was fixed and running in about 2 hours from the time I made the call. There was an after hours service fee and the cost of parts, but it wasn't expensive and I'm very frugal The only negative comment is that I see they offer military discounts, but we were not offered one. A little discount goes a long way. Thanks Mike, thanks Cape Fear.

Instead, Mrs. Laney and Mrs. Caroline were both extremely disrespectful and had terrible attitudes from the moment they answered the phone. As a customer, I wasn't argumentative--I was simply trying to understand a billing issue. Rather than listening or attempting to help, they were dismissive, rude, and made me feel like my questions were an inconvenience. Customer service starts with the first person who answers the phone, and unfortunately, this interaction reflected very poorly on the company. I hope management addresses how customers are treated because no one should be spoken to with disrespect for asking a simple billing question and shouldn't feel like they are annoying them by any questions it's the job they are getting paid for. I was so disappointed and after reading reviews I actually drove 30 minutes to talk to someone over them and when I walked in all I said was "hey how are you doing is there anyone that I can talk to over the establishment" and I was greeted by a older dark hair lady that would not give me her name or anyone else's that I could talk to after I told her what it was about. All she kept saying was we aren't going to be doing this which I don't even know what she was referring to because I was only there to talk to someone over them but at the end of the day if you are a person that feels like when you call a business you should be treated with respect please stay away from this business because apparently this has been a issue with other people according to reviews and it hasn't been handled

First time I was on vacation and my heat stopped functioning. This was early January and IT WAS FREEZING. My poor sister and dogs were like Ice cubes! Nick was here within 24 hours and worked quickly to get it situated. I can't remember exactly what was wrong but he got the heat working same day! There ended up being another issue due to the fix so then the heat wouldn't turn off (not something I believe he could have controlled) however we called and someone (I honestly think it was Javi) came out same night at like 9pm to fix it for us! They did all this for us while consulting with my mother and sister because my husband and I were unreachable! Most recently my ac stopped working. I was offered a special they were running for cleaning every six months that saved me some money. Nick made it out in 48 hours to assess the situation and was back within 24 hours (had to wait for my unit to thaw) to fix it! They are affordable, professional, and prompt! I will continue to use them as they have earned a lifetime customer. Thank you!!!

They completed the installation Wednesday afternoon, amazingly fast! The other two companies that gave us bids couldn't even get the unit to Fayetteville until Friday for install the following week! Everyone we dealt with was a total professional--Chris who provided the estimate, Reggie & AD who installed our unit (and spent an extra hour rebuilding our natural gas lines that have evolved into a mess as we add gas appliances through the years, no additional cost), and their supervisor, Blake! We highly recommend checking with them when it's time for a new HVAC or just routine service. And, they even give you a $100 bonus future referrals! We love this company, so glad we found them!

After the first no-show I called and the gal confirmed the man that was supposed to come quit with no notice. Giving the company the benefit of doubt I rescheduled, although their first next available appointment was 4 weeks later. Yesterday the appointment came and went and again no one showed up. I called to try to confirm an arrival window and later to figure out what was going on and the entire day the phone had a busy signal like it was off the hook. Needless to say I will be going elsewhere with my business. I will also add that Certified was the company used to install our two furnaces in a new build house less than a year and a half ago. I've been less than impressed with our furnaces. The upstairs is currently 62 while the heat is set to 67.

Miguel Regino arrived on time, which was a plus. He checked my system out as I expected, though I noticed him from my camera that he was on his phone for a while but I can't judge as long as the job was done. He informed me that my capacitor was going bad and quoted me a price a little over $250. He showed me what the number on his meter showed and I was a bit confused because I have some knowledge on capacitors so I declined replacing it. He then offered me a maintenance agreement for the year that included 2 servicing for the year. I took the contract and payed for it figuring, what the heck it was worth it. I called in 7 months later for my semi annual check up and Miguel arrived on time and began quoting the price from the door that I will be paying for this check up. When I told him that he sold me the one year contract with 2 maintenance calls a year, he told me that I only payed $245 for that one visit. The bad part, is that it would have been more if I didn't get the military discount. Oh, I also forgot to mention that I called another HVAV company in December to get a second option on the capacitor and tgst technician showed me the same reading and said it did not need to be replaced. I only decided to use them in the first place because it was veteran owned. I will go back to the company that replaced my less than 2yr old HVAC. I am a senior but I am also a veteran. I felt like prey. It is saddening.

We had AC issues and…read morecalled another company to come service our unit, they spent 5 min looking at it before charging us 500$ to replace a 20$ part and rigged the wiring until our thermostat was replaced, when they returned to set the wires correct the wired it incorrectly and fried more components then refused to come fix their mistake. We were luck enough to find All American and they got someone out to right away. Two techs Derek and Dakota showed up and went straight to the problem and figured out what happened and what needed to be fixed to get us back in the cool temps. They were courteous professional and cared about the work they were doing. The best part is they fixed the other companies work and had me up and running cheaper than the first ones by a long shot.
