Worst experience I ever had with Dr. Murray.Extremely painful, was suppose to extract a tooth and wound up extracting 3 OTHER TEETH!!! on my lower left side of my mouth and then when he was finishing destroying my teeth he said, Oh I didn't realize how extensive the cavity was. Went to them for 4 years until I had to get a root canal. 1. They charged my insurance for something they didn't do. I almost had to pay my insurance back bc they weren't sending the check back. They did at the last minute. 2. My crown was put in poorly but I dealt with it. 3. I moved out of state and my new dentist said it was one of the most poorly put in crowns they've seen. For 1.5 years I was flossing after every meal because food got stuck. I had a cavity in the tooth next to it because of this. I called and asked if they could make it right, and Dr. Gigi said yes. I was visiting for spring break and she said she needed a full week to get the crown (understandable) so I CHANGED my ticket to stay and extra day AND take a sick day from work. 4. A week before I was to be there I get a call saying she won't be in the office that day - but she had told me she would do it. 5. Then they say they don't need to put a new crown, that they will just pack around the lip. At this point, I had already not really had trust in them, and I said forget it and they could just write me a check. I have NO trust in her. 6. I came to get the check and it wasn't there, I was told it was sent to me - even though they don't have my new address. I waited 20 minutes to get a check. I would not put my trust in them. Worst place ever. Called to make an appointment for wisdom teeth removal they made the appointment received X-rays but when my daughter got there the dr says they don't do wisdom teeth extractions instead of apologizing for the inconvenience Dr GiGi said it was my fault for making the appointment instead of her staff that was giving out false information. I hate to be that person that says "I'd give zero stars if I could" but i actually would in fact I would negative stars if anything. The customer service is so unbelievably rude. Dr Mac will talk down to you like you're so below him and treat you like trash for asking basic questions. His facial expressions shows how annoyed that your even there to begin with. His helpers aren't bad but he himself is miserable to deal with. Listen to all these warnings. Find any other place. He will talk to you like you're stupid and annoying. He will belittle you. All around a very miserable experience. Spent 2k to walk out having a ton of issues still and told awful rude things. He was more then rude he was honestly just straight up mean. If I could give zero stars I would. I saw dr. GiGi for an oral infection and was placed on two different antibiotics and a referral for a surgical extraction. I called to let them know the antibiotics were causing Allergic reactions and weren't working. that led to a1.5x1.8 abscess on my lower mandible line. I called to schedule the removal, went in they didn't schedule me with their oral surgeon instead, Dr. GIGi. Whom came To the lobby and told me I needed to see an oral surgeon and there was nothing she could, I asked her to make sure the swelling in my mouth/neck was not dangerous. She refused and said that she couldn't do anything and wouldn't and if I had that issue I needed to go to the hospital and get a shot in the rear, I did, and guess what. I was placed immediately on IV antibiotics and had emergency surgery from an ENT AND placed in icu for 3 days. All because this dentist refused to even check my swelling, the tooth and abscess. The er doctor told me this was extremely dangerous due to the location of the abscess. It could have burst and killed me. Thankfully the castle rock emergency room actually has doctors that care and don't just show up and treat patients like they are a burden. Suggestions would be to find your compassion again, your cruel neglect almost cost my children their mother. Thank you Dr. GiGi for showing me what the definition of what an neglectful doctor is like. PLEASE CHANGE YOUR WAYS BEFORE YOU HARM ANOTHER PERSON. I'm not sure I can sue but I'm looking into it. I started going there about five years ago. My dentist performed a root canal(unsuccessfully), referred me to another location on E county line to get it done again. I got root canal second time(unsuccessful). After 2 root canals, three rounds of antibiotics and $500 out of my pocket, not to mention pain and discomfort for 5 months, I end up getting my tooth extracted. My recommendation is that, They should stick to cleaning, extractions and filling. read more

I would NOT recommend this dentist to anyone. I went into see Dr. Mack with high hopes that it would be a simple wisdom tooth extraction. That DID NOT happen. He said it was okay to not take antibiotics as long as I kept with the other cleaning procedures. Two days later I caught an infection. I saw him that following Monday and he then prescribed me antibiotics but didn't have much knowledge as to why under my chin was swelling so bad. He said it would take time to go away. As it got worse I tried to see him that Tuesday to let him know it was getting worse, instead of seeing me, he prescribed me more antibiotics. To keep things short, I ended up in the hospital to get emergency surgery to drain the infection. Worst experience with a dentist ever! read more

I have been coming here for 13 years or so. That is probably why I often feel like the "grumpy old man" sometimes, when I am here. I keep thinking (and mentioning) how things "used to be". Comments like, "I miss the old x-ray machine" or "why don't you have this particular flavor of prophylaxis paste anymore?", or "my old hygienist had nice, tiny hands" are probably not appreciated by the staff. But, that is the thing about going to the same place for so many years. You may appreciate the new things, like ultrasonic cleanings versus scraping your teeth with metal hooks, but you tend to obsess about things that don't seem to be as good as you remember. I have had many years of competent dentistry from this location. A few years back, they were making appointments 9 months out. Those of you trying to get your 2 cleanings per calendar year can appreciate how frustrating that was. And, I have had to argue with them over "2 per calendar year" (as stated in my insurance language) versus no more than 1 every 6 months (how they try to interpret it). I usually get in and out rather quickly, but this is not always the case. On a recent visit, I cooled my heels in the waiting room for 20 minutes past my appointment time. I then waited another 15 or 20 minutes in the chair until they actually started my check-up and cleaning. I appreciate that they were busy, but this is irritating when you are trying to squeeze in an appointment on your lunch hour. Overall, however. I have been pleased with the quality of the service here. read more

Would not recommend, horrendous customer service. For some reason, my insurance did not pay for one of my visits (though they paid all my previous visits as well as all my husband's and son's visits). Instead of addressing this appropriately, they decided to wait until I was in the chair for my next appointment (6 months later) to call my insurance carrier. They couldn't get it resolved during the course of that phone call, so they kept me in the chair waiting for the doctor with zero explanation. After an hour of waiting in the chair with no communication, I decided it was time to go find someone to ask what was up. At that point they explained what was going on, and asked me to pay my previous bill since they couldn't figure out how to get insurance payment. I told them how inappropriately they were behaving, and that I would address insurance separately after they completed my current services I was there for. The only bright spot of the visit was that the hygienist taking care of me that day (who did a good job on the cleaning by the way) was completely outraged on my behalf that this whole fiasco occurred, and made sure the doctor finished my appointment without allowing them to charge me first. read more

I have seen Dr. Mack for problems with a permanent bridge, several extractions and 4 implants over the past several years. He is personable, detailed in his recommendations and very thorough. It is clear that he knows who I am, cares about my comfort, and always takes the time he needs. He excels in his craft, and his chair side manor. I would definitely recommend him to anyone due to his manner and expertise. I would also not seek care elsewhere. I've been coming here for several years now, I was never ever a big fan of Dentists. Bad experience from when I was a kid. Pulling baby teeth in the Philippines was it when you have an Aunt who's a dentist. I was her Guinea Pig. I'm still traumatized to this day, can't get over it! This Dental Office is clean, the staff are amazing; they are all super nice. My visits are always good and welcoming! My dentist is, Dr. Millward and he's awesome! My experience with Dr. Scott Henderson at Comfort Dental in Parker is terrible. I went in for a visit in Dec. 2018, for a minor pain in my tooth. After X-rays, Dr. Henderson recommended a root canal; to which I agreed to as he seemed an honest Dr. As you can imagine this is pretty expensive and out of pocket money. However, after 2 more visits (one in March 2019 and the other in June 2019), the pain is still there and appears to be getting worse. To make matters even worse he has just billed me again for doing nothing!! I definitely do not recommend this dentist. read more

I went there in September of 2019 to get an exam and cleaning. I had to get some fillings done for some cavities. The reason I am writing this almost a year later is that I just recently learned of the consequences of my visit. I came in to get my fillings done and was met by an assistant who proceeded to get to work. I left that day with fillings and numbness, but as soon as the numbness went away I began to notice some big problems. 1.) I couldn't bite with any force anymore. They left the surfaces of my teeth such that they didn't make contact evenly on the left and right sides of my mouth. I could hardly chew any food due to the pain that was caused by chewing. 2.) I was no longer able to floss one of the teeth without incredible pain. The fillings that were done had so little clearance that I had to exert a lot of force to get the floss in between the teeth. Most of the time this caused the floss to simply break apart. If I did manage to get it through the floss would tear into my gums due to the force needed. After flossing I would try to lift the floss out of my teeth and it would pull up on the teeth, causing more pain. To get these issues corrected, I scheduled a return visit to get an adjustment. I came in and the same assistant conducted the adjustment. This involved some work to get the surfaces even and what I can only describe as metal sandpaper being shoved in between the offending teeth so that I could get some clearance and ability to floss. The adjustment didn't work. Biting was better, but still no where near acceptable. I could get floss in between the teeth, but still felt intense pressure and pain when lifting the floss out. I came back in for another adjustment. Was met by same assistant. She did the work on my teeth. I still felt pain. This cycle repeated until I had been in the office a total of 8 times. By this point Dr Loustalet finally took an interest in my situation. Upon reviewing my teeth she deemed it necessary to completely redo the procedure, drilling out the old fillings and implementing new ones. She did the work as her assistant helped and observed. As i sat in the chair I finally felt some peace. After the work was completed I was able to floss the tooth. My bite was just a bit off, so I returned for an adjustment, which corrected the issue and I was on my way. One thing that I began to notice after this was that I had an acute sensitivity to cold foods. Anything cold that I ate would cause pain in the tooth that she worked on. At this point I was so done with Comfort Dental that I just shut up, grinned, and dealt with it. I did not want to make a 10th visit. Flash forward a year and change later. I begin to feel some pain in the area besides just the cold sensitivity. I decided to schedule an exam and cleaning with a different dentist. Truth be told, I did not do a fantastic job of taking care of my teeth in the interim, so some of the blame is on me. The new dentist recommended some fillings be done in the same tooth that was worked on before. As the new dentist was working on some other teeth I noticed that he had a very steady hand and was deliberate in his force and motions. Until he got to that tooth. As he was drilling, I felt his hand slip just a nudge. The drill went deeper into my tooth unexpectedly. He had hit an air pocket. The reason I had been feeling cold sensitivity was an air pocket that was left in my tooth due to shoddy workmanship from Comfort Dental. On top of this, he mentioned that there was some decay that was left inside my tooth that wasn't removed. It was simply covered up by the fillings. My tooth was rotting from the inside. At this point my new dentist believes that unless i take immaculate care of this tooth, it is very likely that I will need to get a porcelain replacement tooth. This is partially my fault due to poor dental care, but the problem was exacerbated significantly by Comfort Dental. The failed initial fillings leaving decay in the tooth and excessive drilling of the surrounding material have left this tooth as more filling than actual enamel. It is now a couple days after the fillings from the new dentist. I can bite with as much force as I want to and not feel any pain. I have no problems with flossing the teeth that were worked on. I can now enjoy cold foods without any fear of pain. I do not need to schedule an adjustment to get my teeth looked at again. Yes, it was significantly more expensive than Comfort Dental, but it was so worth it. Before you schedule with Comfort Dental, you should ask yourself this question. I went there during the whole quarantine situation with extreme pain and not only did they work fast and get me the proper meds to save my mouth and the proper dental procedure to fix my pain for good but this is the first dentist I've ever been to in my 34 years that listened to me and my concerns with pain and novacaine and fear. my 13 year old had an appt for a root canal and we had to reschedule. on the day of her rescheduled appt they called me to tell me my daughter has to go to another dr because of the appt we had previously had to reschedule. when I told her my daughter missed school already this week because of pain and was at home today from school for this appt she didn't seem to care. she told me they didn't have time to see her at her appt they scheduled for today. we went to work an hour away early and kept our daughter home from school. she's in pain. I mentioned i have five kids I bring to them and she replied with "well you should have thought about that before you missed an appt before". I called to let them know we were an hour away at work and weren't going to make it back in time that day. the appt today was scheduled by them. I have all the approval letters from Medicaid that only applies to this office. now I have my daughter in pain at home having to go somewhere else and wait for Medicaid to approve it because this dentist decided to cancel our appt the morning of. She was very snotty and inconsiderat. I will never take my kids there again. read more

all of my family used to loved this comfort dental until my insurance company changed and we have had to start going to a different dentist office. My entire family with the new dentist has had to have many fillings done, deep cleaning, and one of my kids had a root canal and a cap put on a little over a year ago kept going back to the comfort dental to tell them that the tooth was still hurting when she bit down on it and hurts when they tap on it and never did anything to fix the problem. Know that we have started with the other dentist office they have had to redo her root canal saying there is drainage and infection so it will take some time to fix her tooth. We all always went in and did our cleanings every 6 months and nothing was ever said that we ever need any work done to our teeth. I also have had a cap done at comfort dental and its not put on correctly and I am having to redo the cap. Possibly root canal also. Because how do you get a cavity under neath at cap?? They just don't take care of you like a dentist should. I will never go back to comfort dental. read more

I went to this comfort dental to get a decaying tooth pulled and also to get my fillings in. I saw dr Millward for the fillings and it went awesome! He's a great dentist! Tried to help me get the most bang for my buck insurance wise. I also had my tooth pulled by Dr Shultz and it was such a pleasant experience! He explained everything very clearly and gave me plenty of tips to keep my mouth healthy! And his DA Connie was just the sweetest women! Will never return to this Comfort Dental again. My family and I have been going to this location for many years and I really liked the staff. Things are different there and not in a good way. There are different dentists and a different oral surgeon. The staff is rude starting with the young lady working at the front desk that has attitude. I took my husband there today to have his tooth pulled by the oral surgeon, Dr. Mack. He wasn't personable and treated my husband like he was an inconvenience. Dr. Mack didn't take the time to go over instructions on what to do or not do, nor were we given the take home paper explaining how to properly take care of the area where the tooth was pulled. My husband was just handed a ziplock baggie full of gauze and sent on his merry way. We were told to be there 15 minutes before the appt, only to show up and be left standing at the front desk for several minutes before being acknowledged and made to wait a long while before he was called back. My husband left there very upset over the way Dr. Mack treated him. Upon us leaving, another patient that had been waiting a half hour past her appt time asked the front desk girl why it's taking so long and the girl was extremely rude to her. The rude, young lady rolled her neck at the patient while rudely telling her she can't do anything about it and was trying to blame the patient by asking if she signed in correctly. I will definitely be taking my dental business to a new location. If you expect to be treated respectfully, then I highly recommend going to a different location! read more

I have decided to take advantage of the Comfort Dental Gold Plan for my family which they make you sign up for a year otherwise you pay a penalty if you cancel early. My daughter needed some work done which was very expensive. I was told by the doctor that their gold plan was really not insurance but they would cover about 20% of the bill. I was furious and didn't know what to do at that point. I went ahead and had them do the work needed on my daughter. After the surgery I went to Walgreens to pick up her prescription. Come to find out the insurance card Comfort Dental sends you which has Walgreens name right on it is no good. I had to pay full price for the prescription. Why am I paying for this "insurance" if it's doesn't do me any good? If you are planning on getting the Comfort Dental insurance I HIGHLY recommend that you go elsewhere. I recently had braces removed from my teeth, and wanted to have my teeth cleaned before leaving on a business trip. Unfortunately, my regular dentist was booked solid and unable to accommodate the cleaning. I made quite a few calls looking for a dentist that could accept a short notice cleaning. This Comfort Dental was the the only dentist with availability. I saw their Yelp ratings, but reluctantly made the appointment for 0930. I adamantly stated I only needed a cleaning and nothing else. The receptionist requested I bing my most recent X-ray from my primary dentist to the appointment. I showed up 15 minutes early (9:15) to my appointment with X-ray in hand. At 1000 the receptionist brought me back to an office to have an initial consultation with the Doc. The Doc entered the room at 1010 and immediately mentioned we need an exam and X-rays. I explained my situation again, and brought my 4 month old X-ray's with me. She said my X-ray was inadequate and needs to take new X-rays. Now nearing 50 minutes past my appointment, we decided to cut our losses. I called my primary dentist for a future appointment, and my insurance to ensure it's not billed. I have been going to this location for about 3 years now. I was referred to this location by the Stroh Ranch location, which I really loved but because of my insurance at the time, I had to be transferred. I made an appt. in January to be checked out for a toothache in which I had been in 3 times before and told there was nothing wrong. This time when I went in, it was found that I needed a root canal. The thing is, when my records were located, the dentist that had examined me before told me that there was nothing wrong but had written and recommended in my chart that a root canal was needed at that time too. I was told there was nothing wrong and nothing could be found. I have no idea how that even happens. I made another appointment to have the root canal but I got the flu and had to cancel the appointment. When I got over the flu, I called back to reschedule the appointment and was told that I couldn't get in. They were completely booked up for more than 2 months and I was to be referred to another Comfort Dental. I had to get another referral/approval for the procedure to be done at this location, from my insurance when I scheduled my first appointment and when I called the second Comfort Dental I was referred to, I had to get another referral/approval, so that I could reschedule, Okay! When I went to actually make the appointment, they told me they were all full and couldn't take me for 3 months. They didn't have any openings. I told them that was the craziest thing I had ever heard. They referred me out to yet another Comfort Dental and when I called them, it was the same thing. I had to get another referral/approval for the procedure, from my insurance for that location. They told me when I got the approval for this new location, I should call back and schedule the appointment. I thought all this stuff was their job anyway but I guess not. Once again, I could not be seen. They had no appointments. Am I nuts? has anyone ever heard of such crap? Now I have called the original Comfort Dental on Orchard and Parker to ask them to please get me in for this root canal. Now I have been told for 3 weeks, that I have to get approval from the original dentist that referred me out in the first place, to get an appointment. I haven't yelled, or been disagreeable, or mean in any way. I just keep getting told that the dentist hasn't been in and that they are down a dentist. Seriously? I don't even know what to think anymore but I know that there is no way possible, that they don't have any time to take care of this. It's nuts! All I want is to get this taken care of.
