I love how genuinely caring their hygienists and dentists are. Tabitha does a great job with my teeth cleaning, she respects my choices for my care and she is always upbeat and helpful! Dr. Villanueva is also really detailed! read more

The automatic message is a perfect example of how little they care for customers being charged unfairly. They can't even read the review, I specifically called, and these people are hiding behind technicalities. In hindsight, I should've been more cautious choosing a dental office in a strip mall where the focus here feels more on pushing procedures and processing insurance than on treating patients with transparency or care. read more

Had a horrible experience at the dentist, I ended up walking out after having one of the hygienist retaliating on me because she did not like it when I corrected her. I was being seen for a routine cleaning and follow up as I have been coming to this clinic since 2021. I was sitting down having an initial exam before my teeth cleaning the hygienist started probing my mouth and accidentally poke me in the gum I said hey that hurt can you be a little more careful? She said I am sorry and then told me I'll tell you what I can give you two options? One you can let me do the exam now or two I well clean your teeth and then do the exam after. I thought that was a strange question to ask but I said, okay, go ahead and clean my teeth. She responded okay because you want me to clean your teeth I'm going to go ahead and reschedule in two parts for deep cleaning, I was thinking to myself what are you seriously you are retaliating on me because I had asked her to be more careful and if I had not said anything or chose option one she would have finished the exam and clean my teeth and it would have been done. I saw this as a clear abuse of authority and a power move as I was not going to just sit there and be bullied, I got up from the chair and told the hygienist that I am leaving and will not be coming back obviously as it was clear why and I walked out. It's important to note that I get my teeth cleaned regularly and do not have any swollen bleeding gums or any issues, She just poked me in my gum by mistake and I said something and she didn't like me correcting her. read more

I have a movie star smile thanks to Smoky Hill Dental. I'm a redhead and tend to have a very low pain threshold. I have found very few dentists who actually are alert to signs of pain in their patients. They are. They are attentive. It is a pleasant experience. I highly recommended this practice. read more

Great cleaning by Christie, can you say "painless" I did, left feeling clean, not soar. clean facility and welcoming staff. Dr Norrie explained everything clearly. See ya in 6 months! Garry M. read more

The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was wonderful! Had a filling done, that was still causing pain after returning to the office twice. He wanted to re drill the tooth! Went for a second opinion and just simply needed to be filed down. They did note that the filling was not done correctly, probably because his assistant did it!!!! My NEW dentist will continue to monitor it! read more

I've been going to Smoky Hill Dental for years. The staff is very professional, and helpful. Karen, who has been cleaning my teeth for years, is the best! read more

I've been going to Smoky Hill Dental since 1998. Dr. Norrie and dental hygienist, Karen, are outstanding. In addition to preventative care, cleanings and check ups, I've had fillings replaced, night guards fitted and chip teeth repaired. Dr. Norrie is patient and knowledgeable. He and his staff are professional and friendly. That's why I continue to return even though I now live about an hour away. read more

Wow, where to start. Let's start with the fact that I had to get a cavity filled and tried this place out because they were close, man am I disappointed. My filling was messed up, it was a bad bonding issue, and I complained to the head dentist, called and said I was in Awful pain, came back in for him to say I was "overly sensitive" and threw me a tube of sensitive toothpaste??!! Unprofessional and just cruel!! I continued to say this needed to be redone, rescheduled a day to get it fixed and dealt with awful pain for three weeks to have the head dentist cancel on me! I called to say I would never be coming back due to how they treated me and never heard anything back even then. By all means everyone --PLEASE go somewhere else. read more

Dr. Kopperly is no longer at this practice. Dr. Norrie refuses to return my phone calls. I have a problem with the dental work that was done by Dr Kopperly.. I am most unsatisfied with the results. Multiple phone calls are being unreturned. This is most unprofessional. read more

Be AWARE! Go somewhere else if you want good customer service from all staff! Dr. Bousaba really is great and has amazing customer service, and I recommend him as a dentist, but it's the office staff I have issues with! Inattentive and overlooking to patient billing, also I am very disappointed with the attitude I received on the phone when I called regarding the issue with my bill. I received a 60 day past due FINAL notice in the mail yesterday (3/16/15). Two things: One, I had NEVER received any previous statements so not sure how that one could have been the "final" notice, and two, during my last appointment I was told in person by the office staff that I did not have a balance on my account (which I would have happily paid that day if I had known I owed something beyond my insurance coverage). When I called today to resolve the issue the lady (with much attitude) told me that maybe I should ask next time for them to "pre-authorize" my dental work thru the insurance so they have a better estimate of what it'll cost me. Sorry lady, not my job to know that that would give me a better estimate. If it does, why aren't you doing that with every patient already???? She thought I had an issue with the fact I owed more money to them...NO, that's not the issue. My issue was that the office staff apparently lack follow-through skills to call the customer after we specifically had a conversation in person regarding the issue plus, I would have happily paid previously if I even had the knowledge there was a balance on my account. They've got some sassy office staff working for them. If you have an issue and call in to resolve it, prepare to be bombarded with the run-around and major attitude.... Unfortunately, I will not be going back to this dentist (probably to relief of the office staff I'm sure). I just can't handle the unprofessionalism radiating from this office. I'd recommend going somewhere else for your work, some place that's on top of their customer service, because this place just isn't it. read more

The service here is exceptional! I have been treated by Dr. Koperly and Christie. Both of them were very professional and thorough in explaining and providing dental treatment. I have been to many dental offices, but my experience with Smoky Hill dental is the best yet. I highly recommend Dr. Koperly for your dental needs. He is very knowledgeable and meticulous when providing dental treatment. He presented different options to me and provided his professional opinion. I will definitely go back to see him. read more

Dr. Norrie and his office staff rock! We had our first child crack his tooth and within 3 hours of the bike accident, we had the front tooth fixed and it looked perfect! Our family of 5 have been going to Dr. Norrie since 1998 for our dental care and didn't realize he could fix our son's tooth (I thought we'd be referred to a specialist). I was so amazed and pleased with the whole process. I would highly recommend Dr. Norrie for all your dental care needs. He has hired an amazing staff as well, which makes calling in a breeze and going for an appointment more enjoyable. read more

I have been a patient of Smoky Hill Dental for over 20 years. I continue to go back because of the level of care I have always been given. Karen is the BEST hygenist they have there and she is very gentle and caring each time I go in. Dr. Bubosa is also very skilled and knowledgable and very nice. I get great feedback and great customer service each time I am in and I would recommed this office to anyone. read more

This used to be a great office, unfortunately many things have changed. The office is very unorganized and is horrible at answering the phone and returning phone calls. I was also recently told that I needed an extra dental cleaning, when I asked why, I never got a direct answer. I ended up getting a second opinion and was told that I didn't need extra cleaning at all. It's really unfortunate that they are not responsible and are trying to scam people for more money. There are much better dentists in the area, and I'm so glad I looked at other places. read more

My Dentist retired so I thought I would try Dr. Norrie at Smoky Hill Dental. I wasn't having any problems but was told I needed a root canal and crown. After the procedure was completed I had minor pain for the next year and a half. I returned to Dr. Norrie 3 times with out any relief. After the office would not return my phone calls I decided met with a Endodontist. I was informed the root canal was not done correctly and recommended the tooth be removed. Expensive mistake, never let your dentist do a root canal. Always use an Endodontist. My experience at Smoky Hill Dental was very unprofessional. read more

Wonderful staff and dentist. I have been with the dentist office for 10 years since I moved back to Denver. Dr. Norrie has taken care of my teeth ever since. I had another dentist first look at my teeth and it was not pleasant. Dr. Norrie fixed the bad dental job that was done. Both my husband and I have had to have extensive work and now we are on the wonderful side of 6 month cleanings only. The office worked with us to identify what to fix and when to work best with our insurance. They always work around my job schedule and I love seeing the same dental hygienist each time. Plus I have a fear of needles (31 and still have the fear!) and Dr. Norrie is very patient. I can't say enough about this place: current technology, text and email reminders along with paper postcards if you need them, instant xray pics on computers, knowledgeable staff about insurance policies.... Would highly recommend them! read more
