The DezaVala location ruined a Ralph Polo. She offered a "small credit." To replace the shirt would be much more than a "small credit." I understand this is how it works. My problem was 1. They ripped and didn't tell me (very dishonest) 2. She took the shirt and said "normal wear and tear." A rip caused by them is NOT normal. 3. She just kept devaluing my shirt that I left in perfect condition. I told her to keep her credit. read more

Bought a jacket for my BF and took here to dry clean. They ruined it. It was 2 years old, barely worn due to weather being so hot in SA. Can't believe they offered a small credit instead of the full price of the jacket- which is almost 200 dollars. PLEASE SEE THERE ARE MORE COMMENTS WITH THESE ISSUES. They need more training ? Hello, I'm sorry but Priscilla has got to be the most obnoxious and rude person you have working at your DeZavala store. I stopped by this morning to drop off my dry cleaning. Priscilla asked me to just leave the bag and I told her no they are very specific items that I wanted to share with her as to how to care for them. Priscilla asked me to relax and that everyone leaves the bags there. I asked her if she was new. She said no but that I need to relax and again everyone leaves their bags on the counter. She kept repeating that it's Saturday and just being annoyingly condescending. I asked for her supervisor so she hands me a business card. I asked her for a pen and she slid a pen over to me. I asked for her name and she shared it with me. As I'm writing her name down she began to mockingly spell it. She laughed at me as she did so. I refused to leave my clothes with this immature rude person. I'm a loyal customer but thanks to Priscilla I will not be back. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I dropped off my new suit to be pressed for an event I had to attend. When I got home, I noticed the pants had a crease/big wrinkle pressed into one of the legs by whoever was supposed to get the suit looking nice. Big disappointment. I've been coming to this location for many years and they have a quick and responsive team! They can get you setup with a profile and know your preferences for dry cleaning, so all you have to do is drop off and the job gets done. There is even a drive-through and overnight drop chute, so you don't even need to leave your car! They will even send you e-mail notification when the cleaning is done and with the expected cost, so when you arrive there are no surprises. What excellent customer service! Occasionally, I have had to clarify that I don't want military starch on my normal shirts and pants. However, I have never had to return an item for a re-cleaning. They have done everything from red wine stained dress shirts, to delicates materials, to suits, to tuxedos, to my wife's dresses, to military uniforms. They do a great job and almost never press the pants or shirts with "railroad tracks." Also an unintended plus...I have so many extra hangers now! read more

This is hands down the worst dry cleaning service I've ever used. I continued to use it for almost two years, because (sadly) it had the highest rating in a 30 minute range. This place just can't get it right. From lost items to ruined comforters and multiple items of clothing. They also iron the barcode tags directly onto the fabric, unless you say something every time you drop your clothes off. My most recent items were a down vest and a down jacket. Both came back extremely lumpy. This is my final straw with this crap service. I will gladly drive an hour for dry cleaning just so I can get some peace of mind that my clothes won't be returned ruined. I strongly recommend you find literally any other dry cleaning service. Come here if you don't care about your clothes and are okay with a 50/50 chance they might come back ruined every time you drop them off. read more

Don't bother taking your basic shirts to this place. Comet offers this $2.99 unlimited coupon for Basic Laundered shirts. I took seven to them that I've had laundered for years, and after I dropped them off they call me and tell me "Well this shirt has a stretch seam that will burn in our pressing process" and "This shirt you can't press", "This one is wash sentive". Basically they wanted to dry clean every one of these shirts at $7/pop so they could get out of honoring their discount coupon. Again, there was a SaveOn Dry Cleaner that I took these same shirts to for YEARS where they charge $2.75 for ANY shirt whether it needed to be laundered or dry cleaned, and I never had any issues with them except for a couple of shirts where they pressed the button-down collars and broke the small buttons. This Comet like all the others are a money grab where after getting a shirt cleaned three times there, you could go and buy a brand new shirt and wash and iron yourself. read more

I have to give this place 5 stars because they were cheaper than Five Star and their service was excellent. I had a big order and they had all my answers ready for me. I had to to take the sales tax off since I work for the state and even though they had to call corporate it wasn't an issue. We have used Comet Cleaners a handful of times and they do a good job at a reasonable price. I really like the convenience of putting my dry cleaning outside my door and having it picked up and then returned to my doorstep. It usually takes about a week for me to get my dry cleaning back. Their communication could definitely use some improvement. I have emailed and called several times to schedule a pickup and I never seem to reach anyone. I think I have had someone return my call once (I have probably called and left voicemails 3-4x and emailed at least twice). They also lost my garment bag for my comforter, which is not a big deal but I would have liked to get it back. read more

Cleaning is fine; their pressing and adherence to care labels though has completely destroyed some of my clothes. My shirt collars regularly come back severely wrinkled; cuff pleats are pressed out while wrinkles are pressed into the backs and shoulders of my shirts. They arguably do a better job on my less expensive shirts than my expensive ones. Gave them a few different attempts to try to fix the problems with my orders; but they have come back worse each time. Will not go back. read more

AVOID at all costs. Incredibly poor quality and customer service. They ruined a pair of my pants 6 months ago, denied it, I settled for a $20 store credit, decided to give them a second chance a couple days ago and really really regret it. Ruined my favorite shirt which was $80 new and all the shirts I gave them have new blatantly obvious spots on them. Incredible they handed the attached picture to me as a finished product. Also ruined a comforter that I took in to them to have dry cleaned. It was returned lumped up on a hanger and has never returned to its original shape after multiple attempts at "fluffing" it out. I've been coming to this place for the 8 years I've lived in San Antonio and I don't know why they decided they were going to mess up my clothes the past 2 visits but it's worth the review to hope I can save someone else's clothes and time and money. read more

What they advertised is somewhat misleading once you're at the counter read the fine print carefully or else they'll take your wallet to the dry cleaners instead! I have used Comet for dry clean, wash and fold, and clothing alterations. They do a great job and the delivery service for all of the above services is extremely helpful and convenient as a working mom. When I email a concern, they respond back right away. Only drawback has been occasional lateness with delivery. Prices are reasonable. read more

Took my clothes here after reading a couple reviews. I was unsatisfied with my cleaners so I brought my clothes to Comet. One of the worst jobs I've had done on my clothes. Took them some expensive dress shirts and some T-shirt's. The T-shirt's had stains that weren't there when I dropped my clothes off, the shirt had huge marks on it which definitely weren't there when I dropped it off. Completely ridiculous in my eyes. They offered to clean it again but isn't very helpful when you need to wear the shirt. And on top of that I paid almost $70 to get 10 pieces cleaned. I can confidentially say I will not be going back to Comet Cleaners. Will most likely go back to my old cleaners... Update: The huge mark is gone but the shirt came back with some yellow spots now... worst experience I've had read more

Although they do a good job at dry cleaning clothes, I recently brought pants for them to hem. When I asked for a quoted price they responded it would depend on how difficult it was to hem. Now mind you these were just some basic pants that I had already measured before hand where they needed to be hemmed at. Yet today I pick it up and they had the gall to charge $17 for the hem. Which when googled is 70% above national average. That is unacceptable especially for a place that prides itself in being a good value. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ALTERATIONS! read more

We had some comforters that had mold stains from water damage we sustained. I was pleasantly surprised, (actually shocked), they were able to remove all the stains, and at a reasonable price.
