Best Dry Cleaning in Frisco! I have been using their services for years and have never had a bad experience. The 2021 Ice Storm made it necessary to get all or most of clothing, bedding and linens cleaned. It was a lot of stuff. They were able to turn this over very quickly and helped provide me with mandatory receipts etc to get reimbursed by my insurance company. They have no idea how to iron a shirt. Got some back and had to re-iron them all before wearing. One of them didn't even see an iron, guarantee it. Next time, checked them immediately and returned them for a redo explaining the problem, mostly with collars. Got those back, almost zero improvement. Had a long discussion with the manager, with astonishingly, me telling them how to iron a collar. They claimed they shipped those to another location and they have "another ironing crew". Had them put notes in the system about how to iron a collar. (ridiculous) That set comes back, it's "pretty much" acceptable but still had a few collars to touch up. That's on round three. Gave them two more shirts, still substandard. I'm not paying $7 a shirt for me to iron it myself. Staff is nice, but, last one trying to tell me how sometimes the collars get that way because of the way they bundle them or something. Well, guess what, your job is to fix the 'process problem' and deliver me a pressed shirt to satisfaction. read more

The absolute worst!!! Took my bridesmaid dress in for a simple press a few days before going out of the country for the wedding and they DESTROYED it. Burnt it in several places. I should have known they messed it up because the day I picked it up they couldn't "find" it for hours. The owner Scott wouldn't take accountability for their error and tried to blame it on food stains!!! Please , the dress was never worn, I took it to them straight out the bag from the dress shop with tags attached. At 5 months pregnant I had to call all over town to find another dress in the same size and color on a days notice! And PAY an additional 150 bucks for their mistake. They don't care! Dropped off several women's clothes items for dry cleaning, including a wool black dress with pleather panels on the shoulders that I'd had cleaned before several time without any issue. They called me after I dropped off the dress and said there could be some cracking of the pleather due to the method of cleaning required for the wool. I said that was fine and provided permission to clean the dress. However, when I picked it up, the pleather panels were completely removed (ie the dress was ruined). I asked to speak to a manager and was assured someone would call me back. I had to call several more times before I got ahold of the manager (who is the owner). He was not in the least bit sorry or helpful, stating that I had been warned about potential damage to the dress and I gave permission for cleaning. I reminded him that was warned about potential minor cracking, and that nobody said anything about the pleather being totally removed or the dress being ruined. I also reminded him that the dress had been cleaned several times at other dry cleaning spots and I'd never had any issue. After much back and forth, the best offer he made was for me to go buy and pick up pleather fabric, drop it off at the store, and they would sew it on the dress. Basically, his solution was to give me homework. He wouldn't offer to refund my order or compensate me for the dress. In general, I found him unapologetic and not at all customer service oriented. Unacceptable. I will never go back and recommend you go elsewhere if you don't want your clothing ruined / don't want to deal with sub-par customer service. read more

I've been using their services since they opened, and they are fantastic. They are a bit more pricey than competition, but I love their service. My clothes come back clean, and I never have to get out of my car. They have also never lost any of my clothes..touch wood! One of their work staff was rude to me a while back. I can't believe I haven't reviewed Comet Cleaners yet!!! I have personally tried all of the dry cleaners within a two-mile radius of Main and Teel. Every one. Each was sub-par, at best, both in service and ability to do their job. Or perhaps I was spoiled by my dry cleaner in CA. Could they really be better there? I digress...anyway, went right away to Comet when they opened. Couldn't tolerate any more Febrezing my husband's shirts when I brought them home - he can always smell other people's cologne if they aren't cleaned well. Yes, a weird and annoying super power. Anyway again, CC has been wonderful! They always launder well, have dry-cleaned all sorts of delicate items for me, and customer service is always excellent!! read more

I've been going since roughly last August and have yet to find any issue. Timing has been excellent, and often things are ready ahead of schedule, pricing is fair, and I've never had a problem with any of their work. Customer service has always been excellent, service with a smile and offering to help me out to my car. The inside of the lobby area is always so clean, which I appreciate. We average about 30 items per month, mostly dress shirts. If there is ever a stain or something in particular I want them to focus on removing, I always make sure to note it, and it's always come back with no problem. After using Comet Cleaners in Main & Teel since it opened, i encountered a hole in my pants which they insisted wasn't their problem. I asked them to just replace the pants and they offered a $20 credit. I was never treated that way at Teel Cleaners but switched for the drive through. I will not go back to their store again, pity since I take all my work clothes there each month. I'm going back to Teel Cleaners in the same parking lot. read more

If a dry cleaning place can't take an ink stain from a white shirt then why running the business!! I sent my white shirt with a tiny ink stain on the sleeve collar and they returned it with the same stain. Apparently they just washed it! I know launderies can not guarantee removing the stains but that with hard ones not a tiny ink one on a white shirt! If they googled it they'd easily do it! I'm not sad they didn't take it off but because they washed it the stain can't be removed forever! Wish I did it myself at home with bleaching instead! Never going to approach them again. read more

in my person experience with this store; save yourself the headache and find another cleaner. I used them recently as I was searching for a good dry-cleaner and don't have a problem from paying a premium price so I tried this place and here is what I ended up with. 1. on one visit: one of the formal shirts has a big bleached stain in the middle (front and back). 2. on another visit: one of my white shorts was not even cleaned and they put a sticker on the side pocket that they couldn't clean it (although they charged for the cleaning). 3. they are highly overprice for absolutely no reason. they hire little school kids to handle our clothes, every time you go there is a new bunch of kids and when I went back to see what happened with my shirt and at least get a "sorry for this" , they took the shirt and came back to me about 2 days after informing me that "it wasn't our fault because we place our bleach material in the back and our employees are trained so they will tell us if they made a mistake " ha ... execute me !!!!!! after the second incident with my shirt I think I had enough and I can easily say that in my personal opinion; this place is one of the worst cleaners in frisco and will never go back again. read more

For months I have been taking 25 to 30 dry cleaning garments per month to the Comet Cleaners at Teel and Main in Frisco. At the beginning it was good. I received 2 Comet coupons at my home and returned one to the owner believing in "one coupon per household" as the coupon stated. Comet Cleaners placed my credit card "on file" without permission - the owner said it was removed. In the past 2 months I have had to return multiple shirts that have major wrinkles in the collar and body of the shirt. Yesterday when I returned another shirt to the owner with a collar that had large creases, the owner looked at the collar and said, "what is the problem with the collar?". The problem was obvious. In addition, the the same shirt had a tag on it that stated, "We are sorry but...the stains on this garment cannot be removed". I asked the owner where the stains were on the shirt and we could not find any. On previous visits when picking up dry cleaning I have pointed out the same collar problem to the owner as well as heavily wrinkled shirts and the owner did not seem to care. On one occasion with a returned shirt I was told, "We have new employees pressing garments at our Preston location. That is probably the reason. It is hard to find good help." Finally, I noticed that when an item is poorly dry cleaned, the plastic bag covering the item will be turned in such a way that you cannot see the damaged area until you are about to wear it. It takes time if you have to check each dry cleaned item on each visit before leaving the store to make sure it is dry cleaned properly. I have never experienced anyone at Comet Cleaners checking my garments for stains when I turn them in. With Comet prices recently increasing, I will not return. Very disappointing - thought I had found a good dry cleaners Frisco. read more
