I love Comeback Coffee. I always try something different and it's always delicious. The indoor space is adorable BUT when the weather is nice the outdoor space is the place to be. Love just hanging out and getting some artwork done. The coffee does take a while to get but I'm sure they are short staffed like most places in Memphis right now so be patient! I will say the only thing I'm sad about is that it seems their food menu is gone and I'm missing the amazing chorizo burrito they had before so I hope it'll be back soon! read more

I was super excited to try this place out last weekend, and it did not disappoint. We brought our two pups and sat on the back patio, which was huuuuge, and includes plenty of space for people and pups. It was relatively shaded back there too due to the high building walls. The coffee was delish, especially the coffee soda. We also got avocado toast and a pastry to snack on it, and they were of course awesome. I wish they had their pop tarts in stock, so I'll have to come back to try those. I think this coffee shop is a great addition to the area. read more

Every time I come in they have oat milk! I've had the honor of meeting the owner a couple of times, Hayes. He is a very nice, well built young adult who cares dearly about his customers and staff family. The staff at comeback seem extremely happy to be working here and it makes me want to be around as much as I can! There is sometimes a jeep parked outside in the middle of the road and as a local I love this! It sums up the character of the city! Nothing is like it. Mr Hayes is one of the coolest hipsters I've ever met! Praying that the lord continues to bless him and his employees and that he continues to build the community up at comeback for many years to come! read more

This place has such a soothing ambiance and a very neat design! I tried the cortada shot and an iced latte and was impressed with both! There is WiFi available and I would suggest sitting outside on their neat patio. The staff was very friendly and told me about the different tones I would in my expresso. read more

I'm a regular at Comeback because it's one of my favorite spots in Memphis. There are a lot of coffee shops around, but Comeback is just the best at what they do. Their coffee is consistently excellent--from seasonal drinks to mainstay lattes and mochas. Their shop is comfortable and beautiful, and the staff has great music taste. Their staff is super friendly and clearly good at what they do. They really put in an effort to get to know you if you're a regular, and it brings me so much joy to walk in and say hi to the baristas by name, and they know my name too :) read more

I was having some coffee and meeting with someone from out of town visiting Memphis on business. At 6:00pm they started blaring "closing time" At that point I realized we needed to wrap up the meeting and go, then they started blaring (as loud as they could) a rap song with lots of profanity. We left and I had to apologize to my guest for the unprofessional treatment at Comeback Coffee. It was embarrassing and disappointing because until then I had enjoyed my multiple visits to this coffee shop. A polite ask or reminder of closing would have been a better way to go! Such a shame to be treated so rudely! read more

Awesome new spot in the historical Pinch District with great coffee. The seating is really comfortable and perfecdt if you're searching for a place to spend a few hours studying. At the moment it's easily accessible with plenty of nearby available parking. The staff was very friendly. They served the coffee in a disposable cup. Not sure if this is their default, but maybe I should've specified that it wasn't to-go... Outdoor seating area is hands down the best in Memphis-I like how it's behind the shop versus on the street. read more

I was in Memphis on a business trip and wanted to get a mocha and munchie before heading to the airport for my flight back to Dallas. I found Comeback Coffee on Yelp and not too far from my hotel. Now I believe we have some first class coffee houses and baristas in Dallas. But this morning, I had one of the best mocha lattes I have ever tasted. Ethan is a very talented barista. And they had some delicious and unique pastries. I ordered a cherry, raisin, and honey scone that was fabulous. And Comeback Coffee has a very cool and homey ambience that invites you to take them up on their slogan on the wall...Come Stay Awhile. I will on my next trip to Memphis! read more

It's an great looking place. Great for studies. Lots of room and diversity of seating. Rating would have been higher but customer service was ordinary. If only that was emphasized, because that's what gets people to actually come back. Being enthusiastic, helpful, intuitive and fun is what works for great service! And most importantly, making people feel comfortable and not feel silly for asking questions. Coffee was also good, but not extraordinary and not much variety. The Cortado I got tasted great, but was also not filled up. It might be that they just don't fill them up for a reason, but where I work in starbucks all drinks are to be filled to the top. I went for the first time a couple days ago and got the Iced Vanilla Latte. It was SO GOOD. The place really is excellent for meeting with a work buddy or just sitting and doing individual work. The layout is open and spacious. It's great. The WiFi worked like a charm as well, which was crucial to my first visit in particular. I didn't realize they have food items other than the pastries--probably because I was so obsessed with the interior of the building that I didn't look at the whole menu. I can't wait to COMEBACK and try the turkey sandwich and tomato soup! read more

This is the second time I have been to comeback coffee, and the second time I have been disappointed. I received neither a hello/good morning nor a thank you/goodbye. They also "do not make" cafe au laits? I don't understand what prohibits them from making a drink with a 1:1 ratio of coffee to hot milk. I would pay extra for milk if that is the issue. This most recent visit was because I saw a granola bowl with yellow watermelon on their Instagram. It was not on the menu so I asked about granola and they said they had it - I received a bag of granola meant to take home rather than a prepared bowl. I can chalk this up to a miscommunication due to masks muffling speech, but it was disappointing to make a special trip for this. The decor and the patio are nice. read more

Great atmosphere! The music wasn't too loud and there were multiple seating options to study or a couch to sit and visit. I admittedly don't drink coffee so I can't review that, however the chai was excellent-not too sweet. I also had the blueberry lemon scone which was amazing. I will definitely be back. Pros: Good spot for a coffee shop. The interior, decor, and lighting were really nice and modern. Coffee was decent. Cons: Menu was very limited especially for the coffee. Only 4-5 types of flavor. I had the smoked pecan mocha. No selection for pumpkin spice, vanilla, etc. Whip cream was also not an option....super odd. I understand they are not Starbucks, but every coffee shop I've visited at least has whip cream. Overall if I'm in the area I may/may not visit again...but good spot for hanging out. read more

Drinks are always great *and consistent*, which is almost unheard of for coffee shops around here, the staff is friendly and helpful, and I've never bought anything out of the pastry counter that wasn't a 10/10. Good coffee, nice atmosphere, but really disappointing food. We ordered the biscuit with egg, cheese, and "breaky sauce." When we were ordering, I asked what breaky sauce is, and was told that it is a spicy salsa verde-turns out it is just mayonnaise, which one of us cannot eat. The egg on the biscuit is powdered egg with the consistency of cardboard and completely tasteless, and it is indistinguishable in color and taste from the bland piece of cheese. I went to talk to the manager, who did offer me a refund (which was the right thing to do), but at the same time told me that I was rude, which was the most distressing part of the experience. We did not take the refund, because at that point I had to get out of there. The manager of the coffee shop section came to talk to us outside, and did again offer us a refund, but insisted that I was very rude. This is the worst part of the experience, and the reason we will not go back. read more

I'm giving three stars because I enjoy the coffee, but I was disappointed with the service that I received today. I ordered an iced latte but was served a hot one. After informing the barista of the mistake, she promptly provided me with an iced latte. My issue is not with the efficiency of service but with the attitude accompanying it. She set it down in front of me, giving me no more than a cold stare to indicate that it was my coffee. I then thanked her for fixing my order, to which I received no reply. This interaction was uncomfortable, and I don't plan to continue frequenting a business where I am made to feel as though I should happily accept what I do not want or pay for. read more
