If you live in the Memphis area, come check this place out! It is the perfect spot for completing some work, meeting some friends, or just grabbing some coffee to give you that extra boost. There is a nice area dedicated for smaller tables to set up for a quick minute or all those all day projects. In the corner, there is a cozy couch area to settle down and chat with a good friend. They even have an outdoor patio area in the back where occasionally there are food trucks and live music for a cute little date. The food is made fresh daily and delicious! read more

The ambiance is chill, clean & eccentric. As soon as you walk in, you are graciously greeted with the scent of fresh ground espresso & pastries along with a cheerful welcome from the baristas. This morning we ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk, a coffee soda & a citrus pastry lightly dusted with powdered sugar. Aside from the delicious breakfast, take a step out back to the patio courtyard. Large enough to host soirées of all types & detailed enough to please even the most particular person. Hexagon tiles, party lights, abundant seating, greenery, welcomes sunshine as well as moonlight & gorgeous copper gutters are at your fingertips located downtown in the Pinch District. Don't just read my wordy review, visit & take in the view & experience it for yourself. You won't be disappointed. read more

And here we present the Pièce De Résistance. I've stated in several reviews that the Memphis coffee scene is in the top 5 in the U.S. (and maybe Canada too since Vancouver serves absolutely horrid coffee). Well if you believe this, also believe me when I say that Comeback Coffee serves the best coffee in Memphis... and probably just about anywhere else for that matter. We were absolutely shocked at the flavor profile of our cappuccino. I would compare their version favorably with some of the best we've had in Hawaii (our most favorite U.S. coffee region)- complex and inviting and wonderful. Not to be missed in Memphis and anywhere else. read more

This place is perfect for a Saturday coffee break or an afternoon getaway with a great book and a better cup of Joe. The atmosphere is exactly what I was looking for : music wasn't too loud, staff wasn't overbearing. And the carryout box was biodegradable.. read more

The staff isn't friendly. My matcha latte tasted like milk instead of matcha. The quiche and blueberry muffin were good, but I wish they would have heated the quiche. read more

First of all, it was a great looking place. Loved the feel. There were a lot of people just working there and talking. When we ordered our coffees, there was no one else. It took a long time for the coffee even though no one else was occupying the employees, which was odd. The hot latte was very milky. Both the hot and cold lattes had a very weird coffee taste. It was just weird coffee, and it was drinkable, but not very good. read more

So good! I really appreciate the consistency in the coffee soda. They know how to do it right. I also like how versatile the place is (people are individually in work mode, having formal and informal meetings etc.) but I would suggest if you need absolute alone time, the outside seating in the back is where you want to be. If people are having a louder conversation, it can get pretty echoey. Furthermore, if there's people traffic next to where you're sitting, your laptop/drinks will shake! I would definitely recommend if you're in the area. Treat yourself with that coffee soda, my friend. read more

After a graduation ceremony at the nearby convention center, I was in desperate need of food and coffee and this was just a short walk away. I ordered an iced oat milk latte and the vegetarian sandwich. I always go in with low expectations when I order something called "the vegetarian" -- but this sandwich was delicious. I can get an iced latte anywhere, but that sandwich... can't say the same! read more

Great atmosphere and coffee. The doughnuts looked amazing but I'm gluten and sugar free, so that was a no go for me, but they looked great!

Great coffee shop downtown. You can taste the care they put into each cup. Glad we found you!

Love this place. I'm from Atlanta & I love some good coffee/matcha. This place does it right! The staff is kind, the owner went above & beyond to fix my drink after my dog spilt it (oops- he cleaned it & remade it !!!), & the atmosphere is *chef's kiss*. I always come here when I visit Memphis. Comeback really makes ya come back. Keep it up, y'all!! read more

Pretentious. That's the only word to describe this place. A gentrified hipster haunt that has a modern boujie appearance but without the quality to back it up. Workers have snooty attitudes and no interest in being informative or helpful. Heaven forbid you want anything customized or order off the menu, something all other coffee shops are willing to accommodate. The only star is for having a decent coffee bean quality, that's it. If you want warmth, welcoming hospitality, and comfort....go elsewhere. **Edited after noticing the owner's response full of lies and inaccuracies to save face publicly and avoid taking any accountability for the attitudes and snobbishness of some of the staff members. Seems like the pretentious inhospitable culture is being reinforced from the top down, so I will gladly downgrade to 1-star and continue discouraging people from patronizing this place when there are plenty other local establishments that seem to actually care about their customers and give perfectly pleasant experiences to everyone. The elitist downtown hipster crowd that enjoys this kind of snobbery will keep going there, and the world goes round. read more

This is my favorite coffee shop in Memphis. I come here on a regular basis because the food and drinks are so good, and the ambiance is excellent. I also really appreciate the abundance of outlets to charge devices and comfortable as well as diverse seating situations. I do have to say it is frustrating that they stop serving food so early; to not be able to get food in the afternoon in a coffee shop seems a little ridiculous! I also think they play their music too loud, I can literally feel the vibration of the base at times. Otherwise, overall great vibes and food/drinks! read more

Great place. The blueberry scones are divine. There are plenty of outlets for laptop use. It's a great place to study. There were a lot of students, along with myself, studying inside. There is also seating outside. With the large amount of people studying or having meetings, the music is quite loud. Also they are open until 6PM, but they stop serving food at 2PM. I would come back. read more

barista handed me my drink with a toothpick hanging out of his mouth. gross. Latte was ok. I might come back if dude isn't working. Ew.

Comeback Coffee exceeded my expectations, breakfast and coffee. It's worth the wait during peak hours. Cheers

My favorite coffee in Memphis. The cortado was perfection, staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. And it's a beautiful space to boot.

I love everything about Comeback Coffee! The pastries are always so delicious and I've never gotten a drink I didn't like. My favorite drink is their signature coffee soda- it's the best and most unique coffee drink I've ever had. And now they sell it canned which is amazing!! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for good coffee in Memphis. Plus, the shop is beautiful, they have an amazing patio with awesome shade and an indoor/outdoor vibe. They're also located next to the cutest plant store next door called Golden Hour. Worth the stop every single trip! read more

So cute!!! The hospitality felt so genuine and welcoming. They were busy and the seating was 100% full, but I don't even mind. The street doesn't appear from the outside to have much to offer, but you find the gems once you get inside! Espresso and dirty chai were better than your average coffee shop and I can't wait to come back! (HA, Comeback) Also the biscuit offering was amazing. read more

SINGLE TO LEFT TO KEEP THE RALLY ALIVE! This is a neat place. It serves food, but the food seems to support the coffee and allow people a place to chill and eat. I had the turkey sandwich which was good, but was similar to a standard bread sandwich you might make at home. I also had the tomato soup which was good and hot. However, since I wanted to try the coffee as well, I had a cup of the Columbia-Ethiopia blend and it was OFF THE CHAIN good. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back! read more

This place is becoming my new favorite coffee spot! I am a freelancer so I am constantly on the hunt for a place to "stay a while" with good coffee and fast internet. It's downtown but don't have to hunt far for free parking. Check it out! read more

Pretty yummy coffee and chai latte! Honestly, the chai latte was really good in my opinion, better than the normal coffee. It's a pretty chill vibe there and a great place to study/work. This place has just opened so it's not too crowded yet. It was pretty quiet and peaceful especially outside. Perfect place to just sit and study or just chill your friends and have some coffee.
