Allowing their clients easier access to their service representatives. Patrons are sent off overseas to the Philippines or India to speak with a representative who tries to solve all their problems. We switched to You Tube TV, the switch was seamless and we are saving $163.00 per month and all the same channels with endless DVR space. Another terrible visit. 2 months ago I cancelled. When I signed up I did not sign a contract. 2 months after I cancelled I got a big bill for cancelling. I dreaded coming here again and my concerns were correct. The employees didn't want to help me because I wasn't signing up for new service. I asked to speak to a manger and surprise no manager was available. This company rips people off blindly and this store in particular has been the biggest pain to deal with. After about ten months of calls to the tech support call centers, ten months of service calls to my residence, ten months of exchanging routers, Comcast still can't provide me with consistent Wifi. After repeated claims to their Escalation Unit, nothing. One of their reps, Tim at extension 3025533, kept closing my cases without providing a resolution, and calling me repeatedly just before he left work so that I would be unable to reach him if I called back immediately. I left Tim repeated voice mail messages to no avail. The only time he called me when it was convenient for me was after I had asked to speak to his manager to get Tim to call me back. Now the Comcast explanation of the failing WiFi is that my Verizon tablet and telephone are at fault. If you ever get a chance to use Comcast, my advice is don't; instead run to ATT or any other provider. If I weren't in apartment complex wired solely to Comcast, I wouldn't use Comcast. read more

I'm very disappointed in Comcast! I've been a reliable customer for over ten years!!! I've never missed a payment or been late on a payment. During COVID-19 I am forced into poverty. When I called to ask Comcast for a discount or some sort help, and they told me no!!!!! Do not do business with this company at all cost! They take and take and take. The feds bailed them out to help us. They are making enormous amount of money during covid season. At the same time I'm being forced into starvation. I have to call for technical support at least once a week - it takes at least half an hour of mandatory tests/talk to get to a computer agent - another restarting of your set and more discussion - I spent at least 8 hours a month working with their automated interference system to get to a live agent - then we start all the tests over they usually solve the problem but it is exhausting and depressing without mentioning the emotional drain - good luck - I have interference connecting to satellite so at least it's good most the time read more

My adult son returned our cable box when I stopped service. They refused to give him a receipt! He called my husband from the store and his dad said forget it, bring it back because the last time we returned something they never checked it in and I got a $500 bill. If I could give 0 stars I would. I HATED COMCAST. Read below my issues... It got to the point where I documented and recorded All Communication for potential future litigation. I will NEVER do COMCAST again. I would rather use Netflix and Sonic Internet. So far they are reliable. And my DIRECTV is hands down the best service I've had. Tons of channels, high quality HD, little to no outages. And great customer service. My attempts to cancel and be free from Comcast has been such a headache and consumed so much if my time, not to mention the added stress of receiving bills in the mail despite canceling my service 6 weeks prior. I don't want to spend anymore time than I need to, I just thought I would warn others to STAY AWAY FROM COMCAST COMCAST DISPUTE Called 9/10 - Called to Cancel, transferred to loyalty dept., said service will be shut off 9/16. Called 9/17 - Account has been turned off, will see some residual for a few days but not paying for that. Don't worry, only will be billed for used services. Called 9/24 - Takes a few days eff date was noted as 9/16, $50.08 was only thing owed. If I pay that it will be paid in full with no issues (96 and chance total bill). 10/07 - Well that's your perogative sir... Checked online bill and it was 145. Billed for unpaid balance (despite told not billed after 9/16). Spoke to Jose who said it shows clear. Req to speak to floor supervisor. Explained how last time I was told "system still hasn't updated yet," and prior to that I was told "system hasn't updated." Which was sox 3-4 week diff. Only owe $3.47 now. Kelton (ID: Q2). Only bill they send will be 0 balance. I received the first bill after canceling because system hasn't updated. Unsure why I received the second bill with the $46 as unpaid balance when I didn't have service. No explanation as to why this bill had HBO service when I didn't have HBO service prior to canceling. Should update within 24 hours and Internet account will reflect $0 balance. read more

The service was initiated by me, spouse @ work, Rep was unable to assist me after verifying all information and services requested. This is a horrible internet service.. the representatives are always kind, but the service in itself is absolute garbage. Even though the representatives are nice it still takes FOREVER to either A: get a hold of someone or B: have your problem fixed. Let me start by saying that I have been using COMCAST for more than 20 years. I have always felt very satisfied with the product & with the services they have provided to me, which I have paid a lot of $$$ for over the years. Several months ago I noticed a problem with my billing. I called into the 800# and she told me no problem it could be fixed. The problem was - they were charging me for an additional receiver which I have never had or activated. Fine - wait for the end of this review Next item - last Friday the cable box in my house took an electronic dump !! it flashed and popped and my TV screen went to a snowy screen and the box flashed all of its light and went off and on several times. I called the 800# and the person said just take it in & exchange it because it had a malfunctioned. Fine I will do that. Ever since that electronic malfunction my TV HAS NEVER WORKED!! So a week later on Friday I took the box in to exchange it as requested. I asked for info on how to file a claim for my TV - they have no knowledge on how that is even possible. And went on to tell me that my "old" TV was likely going to breakdown any way. [ TV is not ""old" & is a Sharp Aquos] . . . . OK let it go . . So I call on Friday afternoon as instructed "to activate " my new equipment. After being disconnected & calling back I get it done - tho the new cable box has no cable output so I have to use a HDMI cable that they do no provide. Then I was told at the equipment exchange business to talk to billing to remove the extra box that I have been being charged for - fine, they managed to transfer me without being disconnected & I speak to someone there who seems to get my problem and execute a solution. Great ! One week without cable, one broken 60" Sharp Aquos and I seem to have the problem solved! You would think that until I try to use the other TV in the house; and it would seem that the billing department disabled my second cable box !!! GGGggrrr! I have two cable boxes that I use, they were charging me for three boxes. So by Saturday morning I have a huge TV hanging on the wall that doesn't work, with a working cable box & no cable working in the other room of the house with a working TV. . . Xfinity has the nicest customer service reps. Unfortunately, they mostly don't have enough information to handle things. It has nothing to do with the people answering the phone it has everything to do with the people behind the scenes. Management needs to take control of things and start holding people accountable. The rep seems to handle things and the someone in the background comes along and closes the ticket without saying anything. This has happened 4-5 times in the last 2 1/2 weeks. They've sent techs out 4 times to install at the new build and then leave saying they can't. Then to top it all off they turned off all services at the existing home when they were told not to. I've spent over 10 hours on the phone with them only to find in the end the new address is not serviceable, and they couldn't stop the disconnect at the current address. They had to handle it as a new customer request. I am so amazed at the money Xfinity has spent to get nothing but an unhappy customer. The obviously are not concerned with the customer. read more

I have threatened to get a restraining order and file a police report which I am working towards doing. This is a review specifically for Randy Scura. He is a Retail Sales Consultant for the Comcast Service Center in Yuba City. Randy understood that my husband and I had no knowledge of hooking up the cable and internet box to our RV camper. Therefore, he attached diagrams to each connection in order to guide us as best as he could. A few hours later, I came back into the store and he sensed my frustration. When he got off work at 5:30, he drove to where our RV is parked and spent 1 1/2 hours of his own time programming the equipment and connecting it properly. I have never seen such exceptional customer service as Randy offered. He was so professional and understanding that not everyone has electronic capabilities. Don't get internet it's so slow everyday at the same time they promise 25 mb /sec. And all you get is 3mb/sec it sucks you can't even play YouTube videos only in pauses good thing I have one more month with them. You are been warned don't get internet unless you're rich. read more

Worst provider and customer service out there! Upgraded to Comcast Business class...constant internet problems and issues. Constantly being kicked off email...Customer service is horrible. Spent 2.5 hours on the phone this morning just to be told that I will be down another 24 hours on my email. When their service goes down locally, customers calling get a message of "You have reached a number that has been disconnected or no longer in service.." Would recommend looking for an alternate source for your internet and telephone needs. read more

Good speed and great customer support but with service and support have a 50 50 chance of being good or bad. Customer support with any company always gets bad rep but I've had more positive with Xfinity than negative when calling not to mention I have a couple buddies who work for them which makes me opinion AMD experience a little more biased. But seriously you're internet will stop working at least once or twice a week you will lose connections with a vague and over exaggeration of when services will be back online. No consumer should have to call customer services as much as comcast customers do. This week my internet has been down once a day for 4 days outta 7?!?! experiencing the minimum 5+ hours of no connection with no reimbursement even if days like today where the internet was down all day. At least send out a warning of when what where and why to the customers it's just nope sorry you're s.o.l you're gonna paying full price get half the internet you bought and get half ass answers of why you're getting half assed service.
