That's ALL they care about, they will charge your credit card again and again and make you waste enormous ammounts of time and they can't even provide basic services. AVOID! Here I responded myself because it's all you get BS Thank you for taking the time to leave a rating. My only real knock on the Fort Campbell location is that Xfinity's on-line prices for services are way cheaper than what they originally offer in-person. Once I explained this they were able to give me the online price but not honor the substantial rebate offered online. Most on-post residents will have to setup service in person so research your options on-line before going in. However, no amount of friendliness and knowledge at this particular location could compensate for the overall poor customer service of Comcast Xfinity Corporation. Less than 24 hours after the kind people at the Fort Campbell location set up my internet services, Comcast Xfinity disabled my service because the previous tenant had an outstanding debt. Or so I was told originally. After hours of infuriating navigation through automated assistants and unhelpful online chats, I went back to the store. The in-person agent looked up the previous tenant's account and noted he/ she was not in debt. Surprisingly, my account was then looked at for debt...again none. As a new customer, I never expected Comcast Xfinity to ask me to jump through the hoops that followed. First I was asked to provide proof of lease (fair enough), then a photo copy of my military ID (keep in mind that I'm already a customer at this point and provided proof a mere few days ago), and a copy of my social security card (now I'm getting nervous). Why would an internet company want a copy of your social security card? So let's recap. After both the previous tenant and myself were acquitted of having outstanding debt, Comcast Xfinity still deemed the address "high risk" and therefore asking for the following all to have an internet account they already gave me a contract for. Name, e-mail, phone #, address, lease which contains names and birthdates of all family members, Next of kin (also in lease), bank account info (for autopay), and social security number. Pretty much everything you would need to steal a person's identity. And they refuse to provide the service I've paid for until I provide all the above personal info to some employee in Dubai. Update: Some of the confusion is due to the difference in addresses in the Woodlands. Campbells Crossing's lease states "Fort Campbell, TN, 42223" and Xfinity considers it Clarksville, TN 37042". I see their side but as a new customer it seems like not only are they untrusting of my ability to pay a bill, but also are accusing me of falsifying an address. I'm supposed to get a call from a manger within 48 hours and until then Im still paying for services not received.

CDE Lightband - The payment line

    CDE Lightband

Had CDE Lightband back when they were just starting out and their packages were around $2X.XX…read more After I went with them - never went back to Charter - and they have been amazing over the years and local moves. I remember when I came home from work one day and the speeds were subpar compared to what I used to - they saw something in their system and made a housecall at 7PM and made an adjustment to the device that was connected to my home. They didn't state wait until the next business day or give me a 'reboot your router' excuse. They also went above and beyond - by giving me own private IP since I was running my own server out of my home - free of charge. I don't think they offer this service, free of charge anymore though. The only thing they could have done better is when we was on the old plan paying $2X.XX for the internet - they could have reached out and told us they had better plans when those plans were deployed. That never happened - but oh well. Had subpar service and speeds when it comes to other fiber optic/internet service providers and other companies should take note. Moving - CDE Lightband has set the bar for me when it comes to internet access.

These people have no problem at all in leading you to believe that your former account is…read morecompletely paid off and transferred over to someone else in good standing. They are perfectly okay to go literally MONTHS on end without contacting you in any way or for whatsoever--no phone calls, no text messages, no emails, and no postal letters. They are cool in lying by omission by not contacting you and causing you to let your guard down, and think that everything is cool on their end. Then, one fine day, you get a surprise email from them, telling you that you still owe $289.17 on an account, and it was due and payable 3 weeks ago. Then, after you physically go into their office and pay the bill, they are perfectly okay to send you a threatening letter via postal mail. This postal mail can falsely accuse you of not having paid your (surprise) delinquent bill. Also, this harassing and threatening letter may well claim that they are planning on turning your name over to to a collection agency. Verbatim, their threat is as follows: "If the balance is not paid immediately, CDE Lightband will transfer the past due balance to your active account and is subject to termination immediately. If there is no active account, CDE Lightband will refer this debt to a collection agency, which could affect your credit rating." It is quite amazing, isn't it? They reserve the right to keep you completely in the dark for literally MONTHS on end with no communication whatsoever. Then, MIRACULOUSLY, they obtain the ability to send you both emails and postal mail, and they act as if it is a code red Federal state of emergency, and start threatening you. In a great ironic twist, at the bottom of their threat letter, they write the phrase, "Continuous Dedication to Excellence." Get it? CDE? What a blatant lie and a sick joke. It should say "Constant Deflection and Evasion."

Spectrum is by far the absolute worst company I've ever used for anything PERIOD. I'm posting this…read morein multiple places to raise awareness and make sure that no one else gets suckered in by their prices. I'll start off by listing the one and only pro about spectrum which is that they don't have binding contracts. Thank God I can get away from them ASAP. We will start with spectrum mobile. $14 per gig of data or $45 for unlimited per month sounds great right? I thought so too. So the shortest possible version of this is my wife broke her original spectrum phone, we had it replaced and I forgot to return the broken phone. Ever since she received her replacement device it hasn't been able to use data; no downloads, no updates, no anything other than texts and calls unless she's on WiFi. 4 months and countless hours on the phone with customer service later, she still has minimal use of her phone. They say I only have one phone with them not two so when I got my taxes I paid off her balance and now all of a sudden when I want to upgrade her phone there's magically a new balance due on her phone. Yet at the same time is states that it's paid in full and is ready to upgrade. So which is it #spectrummobile?! Is the phone paid off or not!? Now onto their internet. It is soooo unstable/unreliable. It will be great, fast and smooth one hour and the next it's choppy or downright unusable. I'm paying $90 per month for the best plan they offer and couldn't even use my internet tonight to stream Hulu or play video games on my computer or even pull up google. Also, if you decide that none of this is important to you and you still want to go with spectrum internet I'd suggest you have all the coaxial jacks in you house activated with the initial installation because if you wait to decide you'd like access in more than one room of your home it'll be an extra $50....for them to activate a port...which by the way you have to schedule an appointment for and they are ALWAYS an hour late for their appointments. Finally, They are damn near impossible to get ahold of! None of the phone numbers online connect you to where you're trying to get with spectrum and A majority of those numbers aren't even in service. I even called the mobile tech support by accident and asked for the number to their insurance department and the incompetent jackass gave me his own direct line that I was currently talking to him on. They will take your phone number down "Incase you get disconnected", and then never call you back...ever. This is all just the tip of the iceberg. I'm ready to go back to paying almost $300 per month for two lines with Verizon.
