Spectrum is by far the absolute worst company I've ever used for anything PERIOD. I'm posting this in multiple places to raise awareness and make sure that no one else gets suckered in by their prices. I'll start off by listing the one and only pro about spectrum which is that they don't have binding contracts. Thank God I can get away from them ASAP. We will start with spectrum mobile. $14 per gig of data or $45 for unlimited per month sounds great right? I thought so too. So the shortest possible version of this is my wife broke her original spectrum phone, we had it replaced and I forgot to return the broken phone. Ever since she received her replacement device it hasn't been able to use data; no downloads, no updates, no anything other than texts and calls unless she's on WiFi. 4 months and countless hours on the phone with customer service later, she still has minimal use of her phone. They say I only have one phone with them not two so when I got my taxes I paid off her balance and now all of a sudden when I want to upgrade her phone there's magically a new balance due on her phone. Yet at the same time is states that it's paid in full and is ready to upgrade. So which is it #spectrummobile?! Is the phone paid off or not!? Now onto their internet. It is soooo unstable/unreliable. It will be great, fast and smooth one hour and the next it's choppy or downright unusable. I'm paying $90 per month for the best plan they offer and couldn't even use my internet tonight to stream Hulu or play video games on my computer or even pull up google. Also, if you decide that none of this is important to you and you still want to go with spectrum internet I'd suggest you have all the coaxial jacks in you house activated with the initial installation because if you wait to decide you'd like access in more than one room of your home it'll be an extra $50....for them to activate a port...which by the way you have to schedule an appointment for and they are ALWAYS an hour late for their appointments. Finally, They are damn near impossible to get ahold of! None of the phone numbers online connect you to where you're trying to get with spectrum and A majority of those numbers aren't even in service. I even called the mobile tech support by accident and asked for the number to their insurance department and the incompetent jackass gave me his own direct line that I was currently talking to him on. They will take your phone number down "Incase you get disconnected", and then never call you back...ever. This is all just the tip of the iceberg. I'm ready to go back to paying almost $300 per month for two lines with Verizon. read more

If I could give a negative 0 rating I would. This company is the absolute most ridiculous excuse for a functional working business. Their poor people try their hardest and they are actually the only saving grace for this company, but the policies and way they do business are archaic and not customer friendly. Have been on the phone for over 3 hours now, back and forth between departments, put on hold and then couldn't even get a receipt for the money I had just paid out on a credit card. Unfortunately, this is the only company in my new area for internet and cable!!! :( I apologize to Xfinity, AT&T and any other company I have dealt with in the past that I thought was awful. You all could give this mess of a cable company a lot of training on how to work with the customer. This could make you want to live off the grid and give up tv and internet all together! read more

Really dissapointed with everything so far with this company! I was scheduled to get my service hooked up this past Monday, which was a week after I called. They told me that they'd be at my home between 8am and 9am. I got a text at 8:27am saying a tech by the name Ricardo is on the way. 9:04 rolls around, NO Ricardo! I call and they agreed, someone should ve been there. Mind you, NO call or text to state they would be Late!!! Any other cable provider would've done this!! Least my previous cable provider did. They got a lady from dispatch to call me saying he would be on the way...and was 25 mins out!! Anyways, the tech didn't come til 9:50pm!!! So.. almost an hr late!! When the tech came, there was absolutely ZERO apology for being LATE!! Considering, this is a 2 and a half hr set up process and I have to be here at the house for that, that was an hr wasted!! My second complaint would definitely be the tv channels!! The tv line up is absolutely terrible and ended up having to upgrade my package hust to get normal flippin channels such as MTV, Disney, Nickelodeon...ect. for paying over a hundred a month I should get these! Now my bill is going to be close to 150 bucks for cable and internet and I AM NOT HAPPY!! Have had the service three days and will be looking at other options!!! read more

Our company had business internet and four phone lines. The service was great the first 16 months and then became our nightmare. For three months, called their support and the field tech in the area daily. They replaced our modems three times, checked the wiring and nothing resolved the issue. We were told the Hopkinsville plant was outdated and that problems stemmed somewhere down the road. Our internet and phones would go offline one-two times an hour all day for two months. We switched to HES Internet and moved our phones over to a VOIP provider. We stayed with Spectrum the extra month as we were on the wait list with HES. Good-bye Spectrum, hello HES Internet!! Much cheaper and far better. read more
