I was sent an email that I have to sign into an old Comcast email account in order to use it so I did. It then asked me to agree to letting Comcast access all sorts of information which I do NOT want to share with them. Their response was to not allow me to access the Xfinity Export Portal. OK - so maye I don't understand what they are doing or asking for her. What constitutes really terrible service however is that, when I called their customer service number, (1) I was put into a phone tree that did not allow me to ask anything. Apparently they are not smart enough to anticipate that the customer might have a problem that is not in their automated phone tree. (2) Then when I tried every conceivable branch in this tree hoping that there might be some intelligence behind it, Comcast unceremoniously ended the call. That's a "SCREW YOU" move on their part if there ever was one. read more

It is impossible to reach costumer service and cancel service without telling them you want new service in the automated system. It took an hour on the phone just to cancel my service to get wifi PUT IN we don't even have it. And they tried to keep the deposit and after fighting for it back they won't give me my 25 dollar deposit back for 3 to 4 Weeks. Absolutely unacceptable read more

My mother has been an Xfinity customer for many years (Time Warner Cable days). Recently, her cable tv wasn't working. I have been trying for weeks for someone to help us fix the problem. I have worked with multiple "technicians" and had many "chats" with customer service. I have been promised appointments with an actual technician to take a physical look at the problem. This is week 3 and I have been offered the same response. Their technician cancelled my appointment because he couldn't see anything on their end. DOESN"T MATTER!!!!! my mother does not have access to a service she is paying for and they don't care. The worst experience I have ever had with a company who thanks you for being stupid enough to keep paying them. I replaced the cable box thinking I could fix the problem on my own...no luck. Their technician suggested I change the box again. Really? 2 boxes having the same issue seems an unlikely coincidence. They make appointments to come and fix the issue and I get phone calls instead: making me check everything for about the hundredth time! I am cancelling with them as soon as this is resolved. Terrible customer service and nobody will actually help. read more

I been Discrinated it by Comcast,, they told me that because I'm disabled and I'm in the federal government program they cancel my account even the I made a payment, this is wrong disrespectfull and very disappointed specially me as a customer for over 10 years, I request to speak to a supervisor and they refused to transfer me, right now I'm alone in bed sick very sick with no cable service read more

comcast business provider just stole $1000.00 from me . The salesman lied, big surprise ,that it would be $100.00 to cancel account but no it was $1000.00. The WIFI never worked right and they send multiple people to fix until I got an honest service tech who told me business WIFI is too weak for my house. Even thou it didn't work still stole $1000. never use them read more

Ok, first of all, at least half of the reviews are for Comcast in general, not this particular store. I hate the company as much as anyone else that uses them due to their beyond ridiculous pricing. However, I dropped my old cable box off here today with the lowest of expectations and was very pleasantly surprised. The young Latin guy that waited on me could not have been nicer or more helpful. I did not catch his name unfortunately. On my receipt it says cashier QPD. There was also another man as well as a woman waiting on people whom also seemed very cheery. Giving credit where it's due VS just badmouthing on Yelp should be more contagious. read more

This is a review for Comcast customer service in general, not just this specific location. I have been a customer for three years now (mainly because there's not many alternatives in Boston) and have had my ups and downs, but this has been the worst experience yet. I give them two stars because I truly adored the guys who met with me and gave us a great deal, our bill went way down this year and we have more services. They were hilarious and personable, and did everything they could do to get us set up with a plan that didn't put us into crippling debt. However, everything else about this installation was awful. A few things really irritated me. First, when Comcast comes to remove their own cable boxes in order to replace them with different/new ones they WILL NOT take the old ones with them and require that you bring them to a service center yourself. This is a result of the installation guys, who are probably at Comcast offices at some point during their day, being "unable" to return equipment. For a young adult living in the middle of a city, it is incredibly difficult for me to carry 20 pounds of equipment to our "closest" Comcast service center, which may I add, is in the middle of a very questionable area in Roxbury. Second, I was given an address by the installation guy of a location in the south end where I could drop off our stuff. After lugging all the equipment there on a hot day, I found there to be no such location, and then had to pay a lot of money to get a cab out to the Roxbury location (there isn't convenient public transit.) When I dropped off the stuff, the lady at the counter told me I was missing small power cords from the boxes, which frustrated me further because the installation guy had said that everything he gave us to return was all we needed. I didn't want to face another charge on the account for a failure to return anything. Luckily I argued my way out of it. Normally, I find that there is an average 20 minute holding time for any customer service phone calls that are not promising them more money (I only waited 30 seconds to sign up for Comcast...) while the phone techs are nice, I feel the money we saved on our new cable plan was then spent on my trekking around the Boston area to find a service center. I hope that soon there is another good cable option in the city so I can run far away from Comcast. For now, I'll take what I can get. read more

This time around was my second visit and by the grace of god, they stay open until 8pm on Wednesdays. Lucky for me, this place is only a 10 minute walk from my new apt so I showed up around 6:30 and walked out 10 minutes later. They updated the counter and it's now more open layout. When I walked in there's was no line and I was helped immediately. The representative took my stuff and told me I had everything. Then gave me a receipt to show that I returned my equipment. Thank you for make by my return process so seamless! read more

Sometimes you have to turn in your old cable box or drop off a payment. This is a place you can do it if you live in the area. Conveniently closed at lunchtime! Easy street parking for the most part. Convenient to Savin Hill and Upham's Corner. read more

As if we don't all already know. Comcast is the worst business ever when it comes to taking care of the customers, oh and service itself, really just everything about this company means it should have failed years ago but they hold monopolies on service so consumers are forced to do business with them. When it comes to the failures of capitalism, Comcast represents the purest form of excrement. read more

Young customer service rep was rude and spoke to me as if i was some kid on the street. His supervisor did not intervene and instead appeared to condone the poor customer service. I actually emailed the stores manager of which she responded quickly and did apologize. Being that i have been a customer with a business and residential account. I was appalled by this customer service reps behavior. I have kept comcast but have since gone to other locations when i needed equipment changes. read more

Just finished a 55:11 phone call with 2 Comcast representatives. Both had poor services skills. The call lasted so long because they were searching for information he whole time and pulling my information. The 1st representative kept on trying to up-sell me through the entire call. The numbers and packages they offered over the phone were much higher than the website. This company is AWFUL!!!!! read more

I would almost rather experience a root canal then have to call COMCAST. It is painful, EVERY single time. The service employee's that make it out to the house are usually SO nice, not necessarily, competent in what they do-- not all, but some. The customer service is truly a disgrace. I have never had a phone call take less than a half hour... usually only to get bounced around. I've had the service for 7 plus years, I'm paying $175/month. I call once a year, usually... you would think that they could get it right. I mean, I understand it's not the person on the lines fault, so I TRY MY HARDEST to be patient with them, but come on people, it's insane. I'm thinking VERIZON has got to be better? read more

It's really weird to see so many negative reviews. I have been here a few times, initially to start up my Comcast service and to replace and return a few devices. I never had a problem at this location, ever. I would say to go as early as possible. If I need to go to a comcast service center, I find that it is usually best to go as early as I can because there's less of a chance that there will be a long wait. Be polite to the workers here. Remember, they are normal people like me and you, they just happen to work for an evil company. read more

Comcast must be the most incompetent company I've ever dealt with!!! I never write these types of reviews, but I already wasted so much time with Comcast, that I may just as well waste more to let others know to stay away from them if they don't want to be frustrated by their incompetency and lack of customer service. I had their cable/internet service at the previous address and moved. They scheduled a technician to hook up service. I had to stay home from work. He came but told me he was the wrong guy, because the house needed a rewire, but he'd put in a ticket. Nobody contacted me, so I called customer service a few days later. They said a technician is already scheduled for tomorrow. So I stayed home from work again. The technician came and, incredibly, told me the same thing: that he's the wrong guy and that Comcast needs to send somebody from another department to do a "rewire." He said he'd put in a ticket and to call the next day to confirm. I called the next day, but they couldn't find anything. I spent about 3 hours on the phone trying to (1) reach the right group to schedule a rewire and (2) get free backup wifi service from them in the meantime. They said I'd have to call another department to get the backup wifi service. So I did; only to have that other department tell me that I can't get free wifi service because I don't have Comcast service. I tried to explain that I didn't have Comcast service because they sent the wrong technician TWICE. They said I had to talk to another department and connected me. After being on hold for 30 minutes, the person from the other department told me I would have to call the wifi department. I told them that's who I talked to earlier. So they told me they couldn't do anything, but recommended to call a different department the next day to schedule the rewire job. I called that other department the next day and, after 30 minutes on the phone, found somebody who seem to know what's going on. They said they'll schedule the rewire technician to come by in a week. That's today. So I just received a call from Comcast early, saying the technician will be coming 1.5 hours late (after the 2-hour window they gave me). Out of caution, I asked them if the technician is coming to do the rewire job. They then told me NO! Their group doesn't do any rewire jobs and that needed to be done by the rewire group at Comcast. I just about lost it!!! The service person said they'll call the Comcast rewire group, put me on hold for 15 minutes, and said somebody from over there would call me right away to schedule a rewire appointment. That was an hour ago. CAN ANYBODY BELIEVE THAT??? I'VE NEVER DEALT WITH A COMPANY WHO SHOWED THAT LEVEL OF INCOMPETENCE, DISFUNCTIONALITY, AND TOTAL DISRESPECT OF THEIR CUSTOMERS' TIME!!!! read more

Due to some mess up in their system someone else was subscribed to their service from my address. Very strange situation for a brand new apartment with me being the first tenant. The only way to fix this was to go to their office in person with the paper copy of the lease as a proof that I am actually the person who lives at this address. All of it was asked of me with immense amount of attitude. Obviously they were not worried to lose me as a client since they are the only connectivity provider in the building. Felt like being back in Sovet Union. read more

They are the WORST And I mean WORST service you could ever possibly imagine. What sickens me is the former mayor had his hands in their pocket to make it so this is only cable service we could chose from. Thanks Menino!! They will rip you off blind, lie through their teeth and send out service people who have no idea what they are doing and then try to charge you extra money for their crap work. I really hope FIOS is better. Counting the days I get rid of Comcast and all the crooks associated with them. Why cant I give zero stars? read more

i have been a comcast/xfinity customer for about 7 years and never have i ever experienced what i experienced recently. my internet was not working and continues not to work because comcast states that, "we cannot get a technician out to your residents until august 20..." my internet stopped working on august 17 so you do the math. 3 days with no internet??? are you serious!!! after being on the phone, getting transferred with many different service agents/it agents to trouble shoot the system most of the day and being put on hold multiple times for minutes on end so they could, "update their system and try to figure it out" is unbelievable!!! all they could do is say that they were, "sorry". i'm sorry too for paying an outrageous amount money every month for cable and internet and dealing with this auful service. after all that, when i asked them to credit my account for the days for not having access to the internet they stated that, "they could not credit my account until after the technician comes to my residents". are you serious!!! i don't believe that... answer me this: is this the type of customer service that we want to deal with after being a loyal customer for 7 years? i think not!!! maybe i'll just change my service. who's with me... read more

I had set my service to cancel the day before I moved out. After horror stories and my own experience dealing with Comcast I had dreaded the cancellation process, which it turns out went smoothly enough. The only thing I had left to do was return the cable box. I came to this location, it was a quick and simple transaction and I felt relieved as I left, having completed all the necessary steps to closing my account. Until I got home to discover that when I returned my equipment they ignored my cancellation date entirely and cancelled my service right there and then. Because I was days away from a major move, obviously I had more pressing things that needed to get done, many of which required internet but none of which were supposed to involve me on the phone with Comcast going through the entire process of activating internet services again for 2 days. Not sure if I have Comcast's standard procedures or Rafael, the employee to whom I returned the equipment, to thank for this, but somehow I knew I wasn't getting away from Comcast without them finding one last way to give me a huge headache. read more

From the time to you walk in the customer service is amazing...great people. The service was fast and efficient.

I was just here this past Monday July 6 2015. The even thou the line was long but it moves pretty fast.

Brutal! I'm using this form as a place to rant because really there is nothing else to do at this point. Just moved and had to move comcast Internet and cable services. In the past week I have spent close to 5 hours on the phone with this company and spent 10 hours waiting for installation and still do not yet have it up and running and it's looking like they'll have to come back yet again. The company is everything that is wrong with corporate America. No matter how bad customer support is it doesn't matter because I have no choice but to use them because I need Internet to do my job etc. I don't blame the poorly trained or poorly equipped workers but clearly they are understaffed and the people whose opinion matters could care less. In what other industry do you get a three hour window of if someone might be there and when they do get there they don't have the right tools?!? I'm sure others have had bad experiences but there has gotta be a way I can stick it to the man? Never done a Facebook rant before but it had to be done. Ideas and comments welcome read more
