I did not receive the original box from Samsung back nor did I receive the charger or any other literature that was inside the box. We came in at 6:15PM just to inquire about pricing and their hours - thinking they wouldn't be able to do a same day repair given they close at 7PM. However, they squeezed us in as soon as we came through the doors and by 6:45PM my mom had a brand new phone screen! She's so happy with how her phone looks and we were extremely impressed by the professionalism of the folks working at TurtleScreen qnd their efficiency. I initially went in for a diagnostic and trialed two options for fixing my phone to no avail. They offered me a refund for the repairs that did not end up solving my issue and let me know that they could proceed to take another step, but that it could end up bricking my phone if it did not work. I opted to err on the side of caution since my phone still functioned and decided to pursue another option that Pan Pan suggested based on my insurance/warranty. I was able to get a replacement phone quickly after he assisted me with the paperwork involved so I'm grateful for his excellent service and knowledge of the repairs/insurance. Overall it ended up being cheaper than the cost of the repairs too.

Over the last few months, our internet has randomly gone out multiple times with no warning and no clear explanation. Last month, after a long and frustrating back-and-forth through emails and calls, Starry was somehow able to fix the issue remotely the same day. We were never told what actually happened or what was done to fix it. Now the exact same thing has happened again. We called support, and were told there was nothing they could do except send a technician, with the earliest appointment more than 28 hours later. They refused to let us connect with a manager to voice our concerns/ escalate the matter and the chat bot disconnected on us in the middle of our conversation before we could get any meaningful help. The most frustrating part is that this appears to be a recurring issue, and Starry has offered no explanation, no reliable solution, and no real escalation path. For an internet provider, randomly losing service and then being told to wait until the next evening for help is unacceptable and ridiculous. For a company whose entire job is to provide internet, Starry is shockingly bad at keeping the internet working. The service is unreliable, the support is unhelpful and dismissive, and the lack of accountability is unprofessional. I would not recommend Starry to anyone who needs dependable internet, works or studies from home, streams, or simply expects their internet provider to provide internet.
