Too much of the time the staff is rude and unprofessional and there doesn't seem to be any attempt at politeness. The wait for prescriptions can be frustrating and don't get me started on the vaccines. This morning, at 11:36, I spoke with a woman in the pharmacy about a specific medication. I asked when it would be ready. For some reason she made it more complicated by telling me they rejected the refill from my doc and they don't have it. I have one more day of this medication and have been getting conflicting text messages from them about it. She proceeded to tell me that they have different dosage that would be ready tomorrow at 5. I previously told her that currently I take 37.5 and take 2. So she repeats herself with a tone and finishes with, "that is what I'M saying". Ok, so we're on the same page then? I know, math is hard. I feel that the communication is poor there. I either can't understand what they are saying because of speech, or they have trouble understanding a simple request. Walgreens, hire more competent and polite people and pay them better. Maybe that's why most if not all the staff look, act and sound miserable.

I came last minute for some feminine products and nail clippers ..the online product locator does not always match the layout of the store so be mindful of that. The cold medicine I needed was one that you had to grab a card from the shelf and head to the pharmacy counter to purchase. Basically a controlled substance even though it is over-the-counter. With that card in hand I made my way to what I thought was a short line. Until I saw that it started back the aisle. I make my way to the end of the line and patiently wait my turn. As patiently as I can with my head feeling like it was in a vice grip. They kept allowing people that had walked up to the drop off area to just get in line ahead of all of us in line. Slowly I made my way to the counter and handed the card over. The staff asked me if they didn't have the exact one I handed over would I take the comparable one. Of course I would, I needed it for sure. Of course, the one I brought up, they did not have. The other was the brand name and cost more, but I was gladly going to purchase. I never thought I'd be writing a review for a pharmacy, but this one is really good! The first…read moretime I used them, my doctor called in a prescription. Before I had even left the doctor's parking lot, Avalon called me to talk about the prescription and to tell me they were starting to fill it already. (Super fast!). I was able to pick it up on my way home. On another visit, I was able to get medication filled while I waited. They are also stocked with other medical-related supplies as well.
