So I had used this place to throw a pizza party a few months ago. I telephoned for pick up and they were friendly. Everyone ranted and raved about the pizza. I was busy with the party so I wasn't sure. This weekend I decided to sample their pizza. We got a carne asada pizza, vegetarian pizza and a pastrami pizza. Again a telephone order for pickup. The place has a few tables but I imagine take out is best. The order was quick and cashier was friendly. They had a few family Type specials which people were obviously taking advantage of :) The pizza itself was good. The veggies were fresh. We actually liked it more than the carne asada pizza. Don't get me wrong-- it's good but the veggie tasted better to us. The pastrami pizza was mind boggling - yet yummy. Try it if you like pastrami but don't want all the bread! Overall will definitely call for more pickups. It was better then the closest pizza (Upper Crust) and worth the 10 minute drive. read more

Had the Family Special and upgraded to the carne asada pizza, everything was excellent!!! Will definitely be returning to this place! read more

Delicious pizza! We had the carne asada pizza, Al pastor and the pastrami. Everything was great. The crust was perfect.

I'm sad to be giving this place 3 stars. I phoned in my order for a small pizza with two flavors: 1/2 all meat with no beef and 1/2 bbq chicken. I didn't check my pizza until I got home and realized that the order was wrong. I received 1/2 combo and 1/2 bbq chicken. This was a problem since I don't like olives or mushroom and boy were they generous with those toppings. This dropped my review to a 4/5. After eating the pizza, i realized I had a tough time eating the bbq chicken side because the chicken tasted like it had been thawed from frozen and still had that taste and texture attached to it. i can't say I was expecting something premium, but I had to take all the chicken off. This dropped my review to a 3/5. The service was nothing to complain about but I did notice that there was a table that hadn't been bussed and they were by no means busy. Still debating if I will be back for another pizza, but give it a try... it seems to be a beloved spot! read more

Hubby enjoyed it. He got half al pastor and half carne asada. Also buffalo chicken wings.

Ok I have to admit, I'm a fan! My brother and I ordered two small pizzas, one hawaiian and one combo. I have to admit that I did not care for the hawaiian as much as I did for the combo, but it was ok. Now the combo was awesome! I am not sure what made it so amazing to me but I loved the way the cheese melted and the veggies were fresh and slightly crunchy but in a good way. The crust was not soggy either, that's always a plus in my book. I also liked how they packed the pizza on top of a piece of parchment paper, which keeps the cheese from sticking to the box. I can't wait to order another combo pizza from here! read more

Pizza is good. Don't get delivery. I called an hour and 10 min ago and she told me that it would be 45 min at the most, but probably less. Well, an hour later I called to ask the status and she casually said "oh it just went in the oven". No "sorry", no "we'll rush it right over". Nothing. Will I order from here again? Probably. But not if I want it to be delivered. You would think they would call if they are going to be 20 min late or more. Guess that's too much to ask. 2 stars for service today.....pretty disappointing. read more

I love love love this place! The pizza is amazing and so fresh. I came in and got a large half Asada, and half pastor pizza, the veggies on the pizza were so fresh and so tasty. DELICIOUS!!!! I definitely would recommend this pizza place to everyone. I For sure will be coming back to Combo's Pizza! All the workers and nice and friendly. And the place is so clean. And to top it off, they have beer on tap. People of the world. Try this place. You won't be disappointed. read more

Just ordered from this place and I only have one complaint (thats why they didnt get the full 5) but we'll get to that. So i ordered off of eat24 & the estimated delivery time was 45min-an hour, they got the pizza here in 50 min. Also the delivery girl was very friendly + 1 I ordered a large pesto with mushrooms+sausage, the combo sticks (garlic, butter, parm), & a 2L soda. Everything came hot & ready to eat +2 I think the price was very fair. All of the above for 27 buck plus 3 dollars tip +1 Now heres where i held back on the last star, as soon as i opened up the pizza i could smell cinnamon? Im not sure if I'm imagining it or what but i could smell cinnamon. The pizza was def edible and toppings were good but i just couldnt really get over the cinnamon. I'm not sure if its an ingredient in their pesto sauce or what but im just not used to it. Besides that the pizza was still really good and the bread sticks were awesome. Especially since they came with two diff dipping sauces. I would def order from here again but i think ill skip the pesto read more

Pretty good pizza. The canadian bacon/pepperoni was solid. I'm a big fan of thick crust, but this was pretty flat and tasteless. For that reason mainly, this will not be my go-to pizza joint. read more

So growing playing softball pizza was basically a staple food so needless to say I'm not a huge fan after so many years of eating it. BUT tonight something change I had a pizza that I really enjoyed. Not too saucy, the crust was perfect, the topping fresh. Thank you for an enjoyable pie, I will be back!! This time was the Combo, next will be the chicken Alfredo pizza. Oh yea I can't forget to mention how nice and accommodating the staff was I have 1 person who doesn't like black olives so they literally didn't put them on 3 slices just for her....now that's service!! read more

One word. (Three words?) Carne Asada Pizza. WHAT? I've been here a few times now and oh boy.. Carne Asada Pizza. It's a bit pricey, but the ingredients you're getting are GREAT! I usually call in my order about 15 minutes before I'm ready to head over. They usually answer the phone pretty quick. The nice thing is they'll actually make the pizza before you get there and wait for you to arrive. After you arrive, they throw it into the oven so you get the freshest pizza. You can always tell them to throw it in a bit early if you're in a hurry. I will have to say.. the first time I had the pizza I was not so sure I liked it. I gave it a second chance and oh boy.. It struck some sort of chord inside of me. I can't stop getting it now. Combo's, you guys are great! Keep doing what you're doing! read more

Tried this place last night with a friend, was having a craving for something with asada and/or something greasy. Yelp recommended this place cause who doesnt love pizza and asada or were they just reading my mind? *our phones are listening* ;) haha Anyway, ordered the pizza by phone around 1030pm (they close at midnight) After ordering and before I got off the phone, the staff member was giving me my total and time for pick up, which I didn't care for cause she told me to come in within 10mins but they could not put it in the oven till we get there... Hmmm so might as well just go in. Decided to still go cause reviews on this place def. pumped me up for some asada pizza. When arriving the place was in a not so great part of Fullerton and area is not very lit at night. But going in the staff was very nice and said to give them 5 mins. They brought out our pizza and mentioned there has been a mistake that they had put pico on all of our pizza instead of half. So they were making us a small asada with no pico (no charge), which we did appreciate. Pizza was spicy but not over whelming with the pico and must be the sauce cause I got a hint of spice in the pizza with no pico too. Overall the pizza was okay probably would not order this one again, but I did like their crust and would probably consider coming back to try another pizza. Was $18 with some change. Service 4/5 Food 3/5 Area 3/5 Price 3/5 No pic, I was too hungry ;) Update when I eventually go back to try again. read more

Second time coming here and dining in. Came in tonight with a group of seven. The overall feel was a bit chaotic. Must have been busy time for pizza. We seated ourselves and decided to all order individually. I went with the bbq chicken pizza and an order of combo sticks (garlic bread sticks) oh and a few brews. ($2.50 during happy hour 4pm-9pm) they even had a beer from near by Bootleggers Brewery. My pizza came out in a timely fashion. However, the bread sticks never arrived. Several others in our group didn't get their food. When they asked the lady working she was embarrassed that we didn't get what we ordered. One person in my groups pizza wasn't even started 40 minutes after ordering. He was given a full refund and a free pizza. I also got a refund for the bread and was still given an order of bread for free. Now let's get to what really mattered, the pizza. My BBQ pizza was great. No complaints what so ever. Cooked perfectly and had loads of flavor. I later tried some of my friends carne Asada pizza and it was amazing. It was a little on the spicy side, which I do like. It reminded me of a taco. Very unique and very good. I felt like DJ Khaled and kept going for Anotha One! Even though we had some issues. The management was fantastic in making up for it. Food was great and I wouldn't hesitate recommending them or coming back for another pie. read more

Grabbed a half combo and half Carne asada. Both halves were very good. Carne comes with salsa. Used the restaurant.com gift card to save $5. Saw a bunch of specials too (see pic). Great pie, good staff. Just be aware that it's a mom and pop operation and you'll have to be patient with the time it takes to get your pie. They're super busy. read more

Hands down the best calzone I have ever had in my entire life! This is honestly not an exaggeration! I got a calzone here and wow it was amazing. You get a giant 10 inch calzone, ranch and marinara dipping sauce. I was blown away by how good it tasted. The bread has flavor, there was a huge amount of cheese drag, they added plenty of meats and they cut it into perfectly sized pieces. This was 9$ with the 10% yelp check in discount. Wow what a great deal. The calzone was amazing, I'll definetly be back and also try their pizza! read more

Ordered the Chorizo pizza and an order or mozzarella sticks. Took about a half hour to pick. Get there and they say "sorry, but we ran out of mozzarella sticks." Apparently no one decided to call during those 30 minutes to mention they are sold out. I was furious, just told them I want to pay for the pizza and leave. read more

I had two different pizzas delivered tonight after reading the 5 Star review I had to try the carne pizza and for my kids we also ordered combo. I'm confused why or how this is 5 Star Pizza? I was looking for some delivery food and it was actually before 9 pm. I usually only find myself on the delivery food search much later so this was nice. Combos deserves its 4 stars and would probably get 5 if they didnt forget my chicken :( i ordered a large spaghetti w meat sauce and a chicken cesar salad. Also got a side of ranch because you know, ranch. Spaghetti was good sauce was good w decent spice ( they give you the option of spicy or mild sauce, i got spicy) Good stuff enough to feed 2 and probably only a couple bucks more than if i bought all the ingredients and made it myself. Salad was good crisp romaine decent parm but WHERE WAS MY CHICKEN!?? ha I definitely paid the 2$ for it.. but alas everything was good enough that i did not call to complain when they were about to close.... So - id order delivery again, in the hopes that theyd get it all right. Call combos up and eat the good stuffs read more
